Tried the omelette cafe for the first time today -- it was very clean inside and the food was tasty! The service was fast, we got our food about 10 min after ordering. So they have every type of omelette you could choose from here. The omelettes are seasoned to perfection and very delicious. I had a waffle and I thought it was good but it wasn't my favorite. Our table wasn't clean but the waitress noticed and cleaned it when we sat down. The waitress was nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The water was horrible though, it came from the Pepsi machine but man that had to be the worst water I have ever had with that being said I probably would just get juice if we eat here again. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I work on Saturday so the office enjoys being able to call in for breakfast delivery. This last time that we ordered ended it for me ! My manager found a bandage in his home fries and I found what looked like paper in mine. The guy that showed up to deliver came back after we called him . When ask if he was the owner said yes. This a little gem hidden in old towne Manassas! It's a small and quaint restaurant with tons of local character. The food, the food, the food is so good!! We had the country fried stake and eggs and the southwest omelette. I requested egg whites for the omelette and they did with no question or upcharge. The homefries and traditional potato chunks and hey have this great crunchy crust on them. Everything is super flavorful. Most dishes come with buttered bagels but I tried wheat toast instead and it also was so good. I didn't even use any preserves! The only reason I give this place 4/5 stars is because service was really slow. They were trying their best and were super nice, but they need additional help. I just tried this place for the first time yesterday, being 8 months pregnant I'm a bit particular lately and OH MY GOODNESS, I found a new favorite gem. I ordered the Mexican omelette (no jalapenos, added avocado) and got a fresh squeezed orange juice (Literally they put oranges into this machine that squeezes the juice right in front of you!). It was cooked very well, felt like my omelette had the perfect balance of meat/eggs/cheese. The white guy taking orders could've been more pleasant, I expressed it was my first time there, I was the only customer in at the time, and he still spoke to me as if I should know the answers to the menu questions I was asking him... a bit annoying- BUT the guy who made the food and seemed to run the place was very nice from the moment I walked in and his food was AMAZING so it still gets good ratings. I spend a lot of Sunday's at the Sports Pub for bunch and recently I noticed the Omelette Cafe has opened under this name. We were in a hurry to run some errands and wanted a quick breakfast so we Yelped "eggs" and ended up here. The dining room was very busy, almost every table was full. There was one server working (her tail off) so she quickly cleaned a table and asked us to sit down. I am still unsure on the ordering process here - some people were ordering at the counter, some through a server - she came to us, so that is how we proceeded. There are quite a few different Omelette options here, Russian, Mexican and the regular old standby's. (I wish they had an Irish Omelette) - hint, hint. I had the Russian, it was wonderfully cooked with a bit of sour cream and hash browns. I was offered a side of additional hash browns but went with fruit salad instead. The portions are huge! Each omelette is served with a buttered bagel - and it was amazingly fresh. I'd go there just for the bagels! The orange juice is fresh squeezed as well. This is a great place for a no frills, delicious and hearty breakfast. I never made it to the previous Deli Depot that was in this space before, but I am happy that we took a chance to stop by. We came here on Sunday after church because we were in the mood for breakfast food. I did a search for brunch and this was one of the places that came up. I chose it because of the 4.4 stars it received. First of all service. The waitress who waited on us looked pissed off to be there and was not very personable at all, she didn't even give us her name, no friendly chitchat. Once we there awhile we noticed it appeared to be only her and one other person so we chalked it up to maybe her being pissed that she was the only waitress. I got the Mexican omelette and my husband got the Hog omelette and we each got white toast and home fries with it. Don't expect big omelette's like you get from IHOP these are about half that size, really the smallest omelette's I've ever seen. For the Mexican omelette it states on the menu Bacon, Jalapenos & Melted Cheddar topped with Salsa and Sour Cream) This was not the case, the salsa and sour cream were cooked inside the omelette. I hate warm sour cream! ( I knew I should have confirmed but again the waitress looked pissed and disinterested) The toast was not toasted it was clearly just slapped on the grill and warmed up because it just tasted like a grill. This is one of the dirtiest places I have eaten at. I went with some friends and well, let's just say I'm glad I did not get sick.

This place is new, so it remains a well kept secret, but probably not for long. It's family owned & run, the service is courteous and friendly, and the casual atmosphere immediately puts you at ease. My favorite omelette so far is the "Union Station" with rye toast, coffee and orange juice. The portions are just right, prices are totally reasonable, and I never feel hungry after dining here. Coffee is self-serve, once ordered, and you can get up & refill for free, even to take some for the road upon leaving. MAKE SURE to try their orange juice, it's amazing! If it's not fresh-squeezed it's Doggone Close, and I make sure to order it every time i have breakfast here. Old Towne Manassas has needed a place like this for quite some time, and I'm very glad it's finally here. read more

We had a great breakfast experience here. The restaurant is family owned by a Salvadoran couple, and they made sure to provide us with the best customer service. The food was delicious and affordable. We had the eggs benedicts.... it comes with asparagus which were perfectly seasoned, the poached eggs were spot on, hollandaise sauce was good, and the hash browns heavenly. This is a very nice and cute cafe with amazing service! It is family owned, which in my books makes it extra homey and cozy! It has minimum seating so i recommend going out to eat with your honey or a friend for their birthday. The food itself was fine. I'm not the biggest omelette fan (lol) so I had their french toast. It was obvious that their french toast was not their strong suit. It wasn't terrible, but they got really soggy really quickly. I recommend just getting one of their signature omelettes because that's what they're known for! The waitress was very accommodating, despite my very confusing order! Slow Slow Slow Service I've been here twice. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, in case my first experience wasn't the norm. However, the first time, they left me sitting and didn't come back. This time, I arrived. Picked an open table. Before even saying hello, the server told me he needed my table and asked me to move. REALLY??? Fortunately, the people behind me said they no longer needed the table. But, they too, commented about how he was just "kicking me out of the table. I only stayed, because I was hungry. I then observed.... I had plenty of time... slow service and I was eating alone. The servers don't "engage" customers. They take your order ... you wait... wait.. wait... food comes... you never see your server again for a "check in". Then comes the bill. Reasonably priced. I'm impressed. My favorite brunch choice is an omelette. I make really good omelettes. So does my Cordon Bleu trained sister-in-law. So does the chef at the Omelette Cafe. In fact, his are much better than ours. I'm still trying to figure out why. Thinking that I should try a different item on the menu after eating his omelettes five days in a row, I chose a salad. The verdict: The salads are delicious, too. In total I ate 10 meals at the Omelette Cafe during my 8 day stay in Manassas, inviting a teenager to dine with me a few times, too. We both give it a two-thumbs-up. The food is delicious, healthy and affordable. The setting is clean and simple. The service is prompt. Beware any silly, negative reviews about the speed of service. Those reviewers must have unrealistic expectations. If the tables are full, the orders are going to be filled as quickly as a single chef can prepare them. If you want the quality of food this hidden little gem offers, you may need to wait a few extra minutes during busy periods. In my opinion, the service is remarkably quick, even when the seats are filled. I was in and out quickly each time I dined (my choice, as others apparently settled in to enjoy a leisurely meal with friends). Manassas is fortunate to have an eatery of this quality.
