Lemon pepper wings with fries
Sophia P.

The service was great, the people were nice. The fresh potato chips and the sauce were really good. The place has nice booth seating and a lot of screens. The food overall was really good.

Tots and wings

The customer service here is top tier. The manager, one of the owners, and our waitress checked in on us regularly. There's over 50 wing flavors to choose from, so basically there's something for everyone. The waitress recommended of the bacon ranch flavor and I absolutely loved it. Great place to kick back and watch a game and enjoy some wings.

We came to East Coast Wings + Grill for the superbowl and the service was amazing! Our server and everyone else that worked there were always checking up on us, and they also accommodated us when they ran out of Stella. The food was delicious! We ordered the loaded tator tots, chicken dip, wings, fries, and they all were so good! They have so many different types of flavored wings you can order. This is honestly such a great spot to go to with friends of family. The price is great and they have specials! Truly enjoyed my experience here!

Fried pickles
Latoya J.

The fried pickles were a 10/10--I love fried pickles, and East Coast Wings made them perfectly. They were crispy, well-seasoned, and absolutely hit the spot. The wings themselves were fresh and very flavorful, though they were a bit larger than I personally prefer. Still, we enjoyed them overall. The service, however, was a little lacking, especially considering we were nearly the only customers in the restaurant. I actually had to track down my server just to get a drink refill. East Coast Wings is in a great location, and I can see it sticking around for the long run. The inside is spacious enough and nicely decorated, making it a comfortable spot to hang out. I'd definitely come back for the fried pickles alone and would love to try more items on the menu next time.

I got some very good nuggets from East Coast Wings - garlic parmesan, dry rub. The nuggets were cooked good and were very flavorful. There was a bit of separation between chicken and batter, so not quite perfection but good enough. The food was delicious and I was happy to have had it. I bought these while I was at work and the place was having a 'buy one, get one' 5 piece boneless special on DoorDash. Happy to see they included all the necessities with the order - good packaging, napkins, moist towelettes, plasticware

Southwest egg rolls

I'm going to go ahead and write this review as I ride home as I don't want to allow myself to forget to compliment the amazing staff, the food and the experience we had this afternoon. I came across this location based on watching the LION Lunch hour on Fox5 and since we live in Woodbridge we decided to check them out while we had some time to ourselves. It was definitely a nice Saturday experience the weather was great which I think always makes everyone have a great mood. The servers were welcoming and immediately welcomed us and gave such great recommendations. The atmosphere is very chill I could see if a football game or maybe March madness was going on how it could be nice. We ordered the southwest egg rolls from recommendation and they were delicious. The sauce was a tad spicy for me but I'm definitely not a big spice fan so I wasn't surprised. My husband wanted to try multiple wings so we ordered 25 total and did 5 different flavors . Medium old bay , Martinique, Mardi Gras, Jamaican Jerk, and Kamikaze. My favorite was definitely the Martinique and his was the Kamikaze. I like that you're able to pick your spice level without having to sacrifice taste. All in all we will definitely come back and possibly bring the little one with us next time. Maybe get him the boneless wings since he loves flavor as well. I'm also sad I wasn't able to get the corn rib but was definitely too full to order on this visit. Will definitely get them next trip.

I was in the area and wanted to try out a different wing spot that isn't in my hometown. The location is in a nice area and the outside looked modern and clean. Once inside, you can tell the decor reminds you of Buffalo Wild Wings but nicer. The interior of this place is on the smaller side. The waiter we had was attentive and recommended some bundle options that would be cheaper than A La Carte. Who I think was the manager also came by to see how we were doing and also brought some drawing items for my daughter. I personally enjoyed the flavor and temp of the foods we ordered. Spice of the sauces are on the lighter side so just go ahead and order one or two above what you think would be hot. If I'm in the area again I would consider this place an option if I am feeling wings!

All day deal. Wings are excellent. Service was great. We will definitely be back.

Omg what delicious food!…read more Uptown Cafe is a small family owned business in a busy plaza with plenty of parking. The seating is a bit limited as it's a small place but I always order to go. But let me tell you this is some of THE BEST Food I've had in a looong time. It hits all the marks: fresh ingredients; perfect spicing, flavors and mixes; healthy options; tastes homemade because it is; and has a variety of food to choose from. I usually get the Caribbean Jerk Chicken bowl which is amazing because its individual components are just as tasty by themselves as they are complemented by each other in the bowl. It has grilled dark meat chicken which is packed with a unique jerk flavoring special to this place; I literally don't like chicken most of the time and especially have a hard time with grilled chicken, but at uptown cafe I would eat that chicken for every meal by itself that's how much flavor it has! Then it is complemented by house made pico de gallo (I always get extra) always fresh, seasoned white rice, corn, shredded cheese, grilled onions (I don't get these as I'm not a huge onion fan), lettuce, and homemade chipotle sauce that is particular to Uptown cafe (I haven't tried another like it) and so good it's addicting! To top it off they always have a soup of the day which is made from scratch. My favorite so far has been the vegetable dumpling soup which included carrots, scallions, onions and a tasty broth. They also have had tomato bisque, chicken noodle, chicken pho, and spicy chicken tortilla. They offer a range of other food items like salmon poke and beef bulgogi bowls, wraps, and breakfast burritos which I hope to try soon. They also have a huge variety of unique drinks and bakery items that change day to day. The portions are huge and definitely filling. I usually can't even finish my bowl by myself, so the value for the quality and quantity of food is excellent. The service is amazing as it's run by the sweetest owners who are always very kind and accommodating and truly care about you and your order. They always make my day with their smiles. TLDR: A small cafe with plenty of delicious food options and owners who make your day and truly care. Definitely try their Caribbean jerk chicken bowl and their homemade soups! I have been so obsessed with this place since I first went and go there at least once a week now. Their food is so good I literally crave it all the time!! Go, you won't regret it!

At first we were a bit worried as it was 6:30pm on a Friday and the place was empty. Glad we didn't let that stop us from staying. The place has a very relaxing vibe and almost felt like you were in someone's home. The menu is smaller than most Ethiopian restaurants I've been to, but still had most of the traditional dishes. We ordered the trio combo (Beg Wot, Doro Wot, Tibs). We were able to add a fourth which meant the portions were a bit smaller. Our fourth item was the Tuna Kitfo. I wasn't a huge fan of the kitfo, because I love the traditional beef version. However, my friend loved it. I enjoyed all the other items. It really did give me authentic Ethiopian vibes. A must try if you're in the area.

We loved that they were flying the Sri Lankan and US flags out front, it helped us find it in the strip mall. :) We wanted to try a few of my favorites -- string hoppers, hoppers, chicken kotthu, chicken curry and masala vadai (lentil fritter appetizer). None of it disappointed! My husband and daughter both loved the masala vadai, hoppers and chicken curry. We all enjoyed the real Sri Lankan drinks they had -- Dilmah brand! -- and sodas. It'd be great to add beer to the menu, my guess is they're waiting on the ABC license (there appears to be a bar ready to be stocked!). If you've never had Sri Lankan before, the staff is friendly and willing to field questions and give recommendations. It's always a little hard to describe Sri Lankan food -- but after growing up in Southeast Asia and spending time in India, I describe it as the missing link between the two -- which geographically makes sense! More coconut than Indian, and different spice combos than Indonesian/Thai. It's incredible unique and super tasty! Their menu also has pretty lengthy descriptions, which help you decide. I also loved the Sri Lankan pride on display -- cards on the table with different explanations of locations, etc; placemats with photos of its amazing nature and a TV playing scenes of the greatest hits of Sri Lankan tourism.

There used to be a similarly named Sri Lankan restaurant in DC proper, but since it closed I don't know where else you'd go for this cuisine. They had a tourism channel playing in the background, which was rather propagandistic but did have some interesting information about this distinctive island country. The cuisine is definitely distinctive; it is different than any Indian restaurant you'd try. Notably, it is not as vegetarian-friendly as a lot of Indian places, but there were still interesting things to try. I sampled a dish of stir-fried string hoppers (ultra-thin rice noodles) with shredded vegetables to match. It came with a mouthwatering spice mix and although I ordered it unsure if I would finish it, I did, aided by an accompanying chili paste. A vegetable soup was likewise tasty, and among their appetizer selections was a set of fantastic lentil fritters, which should be tried. The place could have been cleaner, and notably this cuisine is brightly colored and will stain a white table cloth pretty easily. I hope they do well and expand their menu offerings, and I was happy to have tried it.

We shared the monkey bread, fries sampler, steak and cheese dumplings, chicken rigatoni, and salmon caprese. The rigatoni was a hit for one person at the table, but wasn't for me -- so I asked to swap it for the salmon, which was excellent. What earns this place five stars is not the ambiance, though stunning, but it is the service. No pushback, no awkward looks about the swap, and no extra charge. For that reason -- and the quality of the food -- I'll absolutely be back and would highly recommend it.
