While I understand that Dr. Sachdev deals with cancer cases daily, her bedside manner lacked the empathy and compassion I expected during such a challenging and emotional time. For example, when I expressed my fear about incomplete imaging and the possibility of undetected cancer, her responses did not provide reassurance or understanding. 2. Miscommunication and Gaslighting During our conversation, I expressed concern that only one specific area of my left breast had been imaged via ultrasound. Dr. Sachdev insisted that the entire breast was imaged, but later that evening, the nurse practitioner confirmed that only the specific spot where the tumor is located was examined. This inconsistency left me feeling unheard and invalidated. 3. Inadequate Breast Exam Dr. Sachdev's breast exam did not inspire confidence. She was unable to locate the lump in my left breast until I pointed it out, which raised concerns about her ability to detect abnormalities during the exam. No complaints there…read more The biggest failure of this building is the parking lot is tiny and there are only THREE handicapped parking spots. That's crazy for a hospital. Anytime I've been here, people are jockeying for parking. Often I've had to take my mother and park in the residential area a block away and have her get in a wheelchair on someone's lawn then wheel her into the facility. The second egregious thing is that it's a hospital and the main door doesn't have an auto open for wheelchair access. Is this not basic accommodations at a hospital?? This just makes visiting this building a hardship even though the doctors and nurses provide a good service.

Dr Curti is the best…read more I recently had a bad experience with his office and wrote a really nasty review. I had decided to leave the office and search for anew hematologist. I found one in Long Beach and that Dr told me that Dr Curti was the best. During this time, Dr. Curti was calling me to help me and let me know what steps he had taken to fix the problem. When you're sick, you don't always think clearly or rationally. Anemia can make you crazy. My cognition was off and I was very depressed. But Dr Curti saw right through that. He helped me. I'm still dealing with my anemia 14 months later but he's helping me and he's not giving up. His staff is wonderful and after our little bout, I few like they are part of my health team. I had written a terrible review before, but after all they have done, they don't deserve it. Dr Curti WILL help you. And along the way if things get bumpy, tell him. He will help you.
