TRASH!!!!! This place Opens for dinner at 3:45pm so I went at 4pm And all the food looked so dry and stale as if it sat there since lunch. Sushi was room temperature but tasted ok. The crawfish were spoiled!!!! When I told them they still left it on the buffet. Go elsewhere! Went on Sunday at noon - prime lunch time. After being told one amount, the card receipt was for a different amount - there was a 3% surcharge they didn't bother mentioning. I have been here a handful of times and it was good except today. Food was cold, old and dry. I went to get a plate done at the hibachi grill asked for garlic sauce. I took a bite and no flavor no season at all. I told our server my feed back and she let what i assume was the owner know and he was upset and was yelling about my comment saying that i need to let them know if i want salt in my food. My husband and I were passing by on our way to Arkansas and after seeing all the raving reviews we decided to check it out. Price - surprisingly cheap for what they offer (crab legs, raw oysters, sushi) and the variety Raws - all their rolls is a surplus of imitation crab and rice. Did not look appealing at all. My husband tried the sushi and said it was mediocre. He also braved the raw oysters. There's quite a bit there and looked fresh. Cooked - I tried the general tso's chicken and orange chicken and it's like biting into a rock. Dry, not crunchy at all and they both tasted the same. There is actually quite a bit of veggie options and it all tasted very good. They had a variety of fried food too that was good. Dumplings was quite tasty especially with the soy sauce provided. Their stir-fry noodles was good too. Overall, I'd give a four stars if it wasn't that it made me run for the bathroom almost immediately afterwards. And that's eating strictly cooked food! My wife and I travel through Texarkana several times a year and have eaten at many restaurants in the area. We liked for a Chinese restaurant in the past and tried the one that was suggested to us by 3 different people. It was barely so so. We sometimes eat at a buffet but not often as my wife doesn't always like them. I read the one review and drive past the place and it was packed, a very good sign for the late hour at a buffet. I asked and was told The One had been open about 4 months. The interior looked as thought the previous owners had run a steak house out of the place but the new owners did a good job adding to the fixtures and decor turning into an Asian themed restaurant. The wait staff was very nice and attentive. The hot food looked fresh. Not like it had been sitting for hours in the steam tables. They also had Sushi which I generally avoid at a Chinese Buffet. The Sushi was wonderful! The fish was fresh and it all was well prepared. I loved it. My wife and I loved the Crab Rangoons. She said they were the best she had ever had. I gave this place 5 stars as it was clean, the food was fresh and it was good. We will definitely be back! You should give it a try. read more

They have you pay as soon as you want in. We sat down then went to the buffet looked like WW3 was having all the food looked old and needed to be tossed. Not a buffet I will ever go back too. On the way it they have a sign saying health inspection is available upon request. I'm sure they got their inspection prior to COVID-19. Their food truly wouldn't pass inspection. The buffet is massive with salad..all kinds of dessert items..dip your own ice cream..all soup station and 3 long hot bars with everything 7 would want. And then there is sushi. It is prepared right in front of u and very fresh. Also they are constantly changing out the hot bars and not just adding more on top of old food. The only complaint I have is that I don't know sushi and have never tried it and they don't have anyone directing u in the way to go or anything. But we will be back..One other.
