I was excited to place an order there this evening. My son was in TK to pick it up. I ordered 1-shrimp fried rice and 1- crab Rangoon. My son comes home and say, mom your food sure is heavy. Me-it shouldn't be. There were 2 orders each, I'm furious! $43 for food just for me, that should have been only $20!! I didn't order 2 orders!!! I live 30 miles away. I calls them, the lady who answers and the same one who took my order wants to argue with me and tell me what I ordered. I know what the HELL I ordered for just one person. I even asked to bring it back tomorrow, yeah I know it would get thrown away. It's going to get thrown away at my house! I didn't want $20 worth of EXTRA FOOD!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Heard Lee's was good Chinese. Decided on a whim to stop in for lunch. A little nervous cause no other cars parked in lot, but thinking no biggie, it's Chinese, they probably to a lot of delivery or takeout. Walk in and no one else seated. Still a little nervous, but between the decor and the sweet lady who showed us to our table and got us settled, I was feeling like this place was legit about to be awesome. The decor was authentic and everything you want in a little hole in the wall Chinese food restaurant. We decided to get both the combos for a little variety and so we could try several things at once. Sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, fried rice, lo mein, and egg rolls. After ordering, could hear it being stirred up in a wok in the kitchen. Wonderful! It's fresh made! Munched on some fried wontons while we waited. Food came out and looked amazing. I've never been served sweet and sour chicken with the sauce already on it, usually in a little cup on the side. But I liked it and it was so good. both the sweet and sour chicken and the sesame chicken were perfect. Sauced but still crunchy. All the pieces similar in size and just the right bite size. I hate when you get little pieces and then big chunks. Fried rice was delish. Lo mein was so good, not dry but not too much sauce. Egg rolls were just the crispy taste I wanted. Everything about the meal hit the spot. We will most definitely be back. So glad to find some really good Chinese in Texarkana. read more

I recently moved to Texarkana from Houston. I'd spent the last month either eating sandwiches or the typical fast food places as I settled in and began to explore my new area. Today I was out running errands all morning into the afternoon. I was tired of the burgers, burritos and pizza and wanted something FRESH with veggies. Lee's popped up on my search. It took me a couple passes to actually find the little restaurant but I knew right away, as I pulled up, that I had made a good decision. A tiny woman with a big smile answered all my questions and was suggesting a few options, when another guest came in and ordered Ming's Beef and told me about 50 reasons why she loved it. I couldn't resist ordering it for myself. Lots of fresh veggies in a not too heavy sauce. Tasty fried rice and a little cream cheese filled fried wonton. I added a little soy and savored the variety of vegetables and tender beef slowly. Crunching into the little fried snack was like a reward. After a stressful day this delicious meal was so good that I had to lift up this restaurant and give them their flowers. I ordered just before 3pm so I got the afternoon special. Only $10!! I will absolutely be dining at Lee's in the future. What a gem! read more

We love the food here. Been coming here for over two decades. The food is always as good as it was the first time when I lived there (Thanks Ms. Greenlee). Maybe it's just love for my first choice near food restaurant but my family and I stop on our way through there on road trips for a quick delicious bite of food. I am always on the lookout for hole in the wall places to eat. I have surely found it here. I travel all the time and love finding little jewels in towns I drive through often. I decided to get takeout so my wife could rest and would not have to get out to eat. This place may seat 25 ppl and the decor is old but I kind of like the "old school" Chinese restaurant look. Great vibe! This gives me high expectations. She ordered the Cashew Chicken and I ordered the Mandarin Hot Chicken. I also got an order of the Sizzling Rice Soup. The soup is a chicken broth base with Shrimp, Chicken, Mushrooms, Bamboo Shoots, Water Chestnuts and a Sizzling Golden Rice Crust. I was excited to try this soup as I have not sen this before. I have seen similar soups but not like this. The soup was very good. The broth was very similar to wonton soup. My wife's Cashew Chicken was very good and done with white meat. I really enjoyed my Hot Chicken dish. The only thing I would say was not good is the food was all just a little bit too salty. All in all I am sure we will get food from here again. I have eaten lots of Chinese take-out in my lifetime but I've never 1) gotten a chicken and cashew nut dinner that was PINK or 2) felt the need to vomit within a few minutes of eating. I bit into something that literally made my stomach turn upside down and I immediately had to leave the table. I drove back to Lee's and asked for a refund of my $36. She opened the containers and saw that the dinners were missing some food. You touch, you pay for. I explained that I ate it, got sick and the rest was in the garbage disposer. I absolutely love this place! I've been coming here since I was a little girl with my family and continue to go when I come into town. I highly recommend the sizzling rice soup and onion beef! I am a long time local customer. If you love a weird dive with bad decor this is your joint. Egg drop and hot and sour soup are unique and great. They have egg rolls fried to order and they are awesome and cheap. I usually order items that are on the lunch menu. Best picks are hot braised pork, Hunan chicken, mings beef, beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken and Lee' fried rice is the biggest seller even though don't eat that. One waitress, one chef. After 20 years I've been going the waitress still knows the same basics of English but they are great people, please check them out. Lunch menu is cheap for the amount you get. read more
