I have been to several acupuncturists over the years but never had the short and long term results that I have had with Kerry. Kerry spent a great deal of time taking my history, measuring and charting various energy flows throughout my body. Her knowledge of this art and her enthusiasm and willingness to share her knowledge is something I am and will always be grateful for. It was wonderful to hear why each needle was being placed where it was and what the expected outcome was. After each visit, i left feeling like I had been blessed with a new body. Within a very short period of time, I was able to work out again and, thanks to Kerry, am much more aware of how various parts of my body interact. They had a scheduling app on the website and I booked a medical/sports massage. The office was easy to reach and I found that the building has a lot of medical/health practitioners there. Apothekerry Acupuncture shares its space with a chiropractic office. The treatment room is *small* but clean. The massage: I'm only posting this review because this is the first place where THE MASSAGE ACTUALLY WORKS. IT WORKS!!! I don't expect much from massages except temporary relief; this is the first place where the relief lasted beyond the time spent on the table. I don't know how long it'll last but my shoulder still feels a lot better than it did yesterday. So, in sum, I feel like this appointment was money well spent. 5 Stars because the massage WORKED. 5/20/13 UPDATE: My shoulder went back to its normal pain free state late Sunday night.

Joe did an evaluation on me and I had followed the program he recommended. I am happy to say my neck, back and arms that I couldn't raise up before feels great! Vertigo is now gone and the pains have subsided. I know in the future I might have to go back for an adjustment and I'm glad they will be available for that. The staff are amazing and fun and very knowledgeable. The whole program was pain free because they work with each individuals needs to get them the best results without pain. I would not recommend…read more I initially got a rave review from a coworker. I was dealing with sciatica issues and a lower lumbar disc herniation. On Sept 6th I had my first and only session. I sent my MRIs. I talked about desiring a PT program. The person I met with "K" wanted to do some chiropractic adjustments. I was in so much pain after K's adjustments I needed to lean against the wall to stand. K saw how in pain I was, but just went back to his computer like this was normal. There were two front desk representatives. They also saw me leaning against the wall and just diverted their attentions to their computers. I was so horrified at all the pain and utter lack of compassion, I just cried. Took me a couple hours to get home. Some other points: The facility has a dog on site. I have no clue what the purpose of the dog is. Various staff had come in and out of the session room I was in with K. Knowing looks would be shared between staff, which indicated to myself that attention was easily pulled from focusing on patients. I wrote Johnny wanting a solution. He recommended I go to a different PT center entirely. I was hoping he would have used the opportunity to look over my charts, ask me to come back in, reassess. Nope. This is why I can't recommend. If Warrior NYC is so committed to their patients and understanding body mechanics they should jump at the chance to fix any situation that left their patients in debilitating pain. At the least, offer a refund, yet that would probably admit to incompetence. To me, this interaction demonstrates a complete lack of faith by themselves in their own work. Any other kind of contractor would want to fix or repair the body or at least their reputation. On Nov 20th I ended up having spinal surgery at NYU Langone. I truly believe the actions of Warrior NYC led to my spinal surgery. If anyone else has experienced a similar circumstance, contact me.

Dr. Rob is phenomenal. I have been suffering for three weeks with multiple issues. My current…read morechiropractor misdiagnosed my pain and simply had no idea how to treat me leaving me. As a result I was in constant pain and discomfort. First I was told that I strained a chest muscle working out in the gym. And then after weeks went by I was then told that it healed and now had random muscle spasms in my back and same spot in the chest. And they were somehow also causing lack of range of motion and pain in my neck. The smallest tasks, movements or events (e,g, coughing/clearing my throat) felt like I was being knifed. Basically I was in agony for a full month. When I went to see Dr. Rob, he accurately diagnosed the source in less than 5 minutes of asking me questions. The source of my issue was 2 ribs out of alignment in the front of my chest. The ribs were causing pain in my front and all over my upper back and neck. While continuing to constantly ask me questions, he re-aligned the ribs. Then rolled me over and went to work on the resulting neck and back issues. Once done he checked the 2 front ribs again and they had moved fallen out of alignment again. He repeated the same process with the front ribs. Then had me roll over again and went to work on the back and neck again. He had to do this 4 different times before the ribs would stay aligned. He then repeatedly did simple things that I have never seen any chiropractor do. The whole time asking me questions no chiropractor has ever asked me in 20 years. After less than a half hour all the underlying issues completely disappeared. 2 weeks later I have no relapse and am still completely pain free with full pain free range of motion. I have never had a medical experience like this before. The disparity between Dr. Rob and the dozen chiropractors I have seen over the last 20 years is flabbergasting. His breadth of knowledge of the whole body is unparalleled. I highly recommend this chiropractor. The best medical professional I have ever encountered.

NYC- Dr. Rob has arrived!…read more You are all in for a treat! I've seen Rob on and off for years now, and can't recommend him enough. He uses a variety of methodologies to best address what's ailing you. Chronic issues will usually take a more long term approach (after all, it's been screwed up for a long time, it usually takes some time to undo itself!). But I've also had times when I've jacked myself up, got to see Rob immediately and been taken care of and healed in one session. I'm a cheapskate, and constantly broke, but I'll suck it up if I screw myself up big-time and be glad I did. Occasionally I've really jacked myself up and only Rob has been able to fix it. I know I'm gonna be okay when I get an appointment with him, the relief is almost as palatable as the actual fix. He is one of the few to have an intuitive grasp on the human body and just how twisted and contorted we can pretzel ourselves into, and is willing to engage in dialogue with you as he treats you to best tease out what the problem is.
