For context, I probably have closest to a 2C wavy type hair, no color treatment, hair near my waist & my last haircut was maybe 6 months ago. I have very dry hair & want to keep my hair long while making it stronger & healthier. I booked a haircut & K18 treatment. I am writing this review 2 days after my visit & drove from the Costa Mesa area. Service- Tawnya asked a lot of specific questions to make sure we were on the same page for what I wanted. It was surprising how detailed some of the questions were, some were things I never thought about. She told me exactly how much she'd be cutting off & it was exactly that. We also did a leave in treatment which my hair desperately needed. I could instantly feel the difference in my hair. The ends were completely soft and my hair had an extra shine to it. People around me noticed too, two days after my visit & I'm still getting compliments about how great my hair looks. I will absolutely be coming back. Location - Look for Sola Salons when you pull up to the parking area. That is the entrance you'll want to take. Tawnya has her own private studio inside. Part of the reason I hate going to a traditional salon is the combined noise from all the stylists. It is overstimulating & I walk away feeling exhausted.
