Not only did I love its stellar 4.6 out of 5.0 rating on the platform, but it was also a short distance from the race event itself and other notable Cleveland sights. My experience with the classy receptionist working behind the desk was nothing less than professional. Since my room was already booked through Hilton Honors, the only thing check-in consisted of was a verification of my information, a briefing on what is offered, and giving me my room key. For your information, check-in starts at 4:00pm and check-out ends at 11:00am! After locating and entering my room, I took notice of the design and interior color which appeared so elegant! There were liquid products by Crabtree & Evelyn inside of the shower attached to the wall. Hotels have completely dealt away with the mini shampoo, bath soap, and conditioner products that made great travel hygiene additions. I would be lying if I told you that I did not have any of the mini hygiene items still to this day. The bathroom featured a sliding door, providing privacy, and everything in the bathroom was very presentable. Inside of the bathroom was a vintage 1981 limited-edition serigraph poster titled Top Hats (also known as In Celebration of His 89th Birthday) by the renowned Russian-French Art Deco artist Erté (Romain de Tirtoff), published by Circle Gallery. It was a poster that I just cannot take my eyes off within the minutes of me getting settled in. Along with those notable things inside of the room, it met my cleanliness standards. I had no issues whatsoever getting comfortable in the king-sized bed during my stay as my head was engulfed in between the comfortable pillows. To further assist with a restful evening, the television had Calm installed on it which is the #1 app for sleep and meditation. I have continued utilizing Calm during many of my stays at Hilton hotels. While utilizing the shower, I was not pleased with the water pressure; its lack of pressure resulted in a lengthy time spent in the shower during each usage. During many of my hotel stays, the shower experience is one of the highlights I look forward to in the room. The good thing about the lack of water pressure was that the bathroom floor was not flooded with water after usage. Other things the room came with that I noticed were a comforter, an iron, ironing board, a coffee maker (Cuisinart), a refrigerator, a safe, blow dryer, USB and AC plugins built-in to both the bed frame and wall-mounted TV panel, and several lamps which added a nice touch to the room. And the Wi-Fi internet was easy to connect to and not once did I have any connectivity issues with it during my stay. Hilton Cleveland, as expected, appeared immaculately beautiful! I must say that the lobby left me speechless; I have stayed at many Hilton Hotels, and their lobby was certainly adorable. It is large and adds a very professional vibe. Within it, there are several seating areas available for you to relax, enjoy your stay, or wait patiently, ensuring a pleasant experience at Hilton Cleveland. It was impossible to ignore the striking black geometric structure outside the check-in area, as well as the distinctive green moss accent wall directly behind the counter. As a fitness enthusiast, it was great having a fitness center onsite because it allowed me to keep up with my fitness routines during my stay. I was pleased to see the number of dumbbells, medicine balls, a decent selection of workout machines, and exercise bikes. I must say that it charmed me out of my panties once I toggled with the treadmill features and discovered that I was able to watch not only television, but YouTube as well! It was great having a breakfast option, but it is not complimentary. I honestly feel the pricing should be more reasonable, as I spent $28. Your best affordable option is to find a nearby breakfast restaurant, and there are several available. One that I adored is REBOL, which I found via Google Maps. Keep that in mind. For your information, breakfast is served from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.. If you are visiting Cleveland, the hotel sits not only within an acceptable walking distance of a plethora of restaurants and businesses, but less of a mile from sights like the Voinovich Bicentennial Park, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum, Public Square, Huntington Bank Stadium, and Lake Erie which are few that I visited. Upon entering the hotel, I immediately took note of the signature scent. The lobby smelled clean, elegant, and subtle. It's hard to explain, but I loved that aspect of the stay. It made the hotel feel luxurious. The restaurant/bar located on the second floor just above the lobby was LOUD. It definitely sounded like the guests were enjoying themselves. There was some sort of convention in town, so the crowd was mostly professionals from that industry with a sprinkling of other guests. They'd been enjoying the libations! After taking our things to the room, which was very clean and tidy, we rushed to order pizza and wings from the bar before the kitchen closed and then ordered drinks to enjoy while we waited. Once we had our pizza in hand, we made our way up to the room to settle in for the night. The food was decent. The staff was kind and accommodating. The location was nice. That night, we went for a walk in the area and felt safe. The next day, we walked to a nearby diner for breakfast. The location actually panned out to be perfect for us. We were able to do a little exploring and sight-seeing in the short time that we were in the city. We requested a late check-out and they granted that request which made our exploration possible.

The hotel is 0.6 miles from Progressive Field where the Cleveland Guardians play. You can walk a few blocks to Playhouse Square and see a live Broadway show. It is a little sad that the actual Arcade is pretty empty. It's absolutely beautiful inside. We saw tons of wedding parties come through and professional photographers to take photos. The rooms are standard as to what you would expect at other Hyatt Regency's. For us the location was perfect as we like all of the options around the hotel.

And for my first visit, this was such a welcome moment. From check in to check out, I felt taken care of. The rooms are a little larger than normal, with vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, and beautiful views. I loved that there was a separate area built into the dresser that housed a small refrigerator with a working freezer on one end, and a keurig and coffee/tea ingredients on the other end. The closet was HUGE, and all my bags fit with enough room for me to lay down (I know that's weird, but I always make sure I can fit if I have to hide lol). The shining star of this hotel is definitely the Arcade. And it was at its best this evening, as a lovely couple were having their wedding reception (which I was invited to by a bridesmaid), and it was such a fantastic time! I was able to check out the 24 hour gym, which had a lot of machines and free weights. There were 4 treadmills, 4 ellipticals, 2 pelotons, and one seated bike. Free weights went up to 55lbs (they got a lot of use from me), and there were several leg and chest machines, as well as bands, pull up areas, medicine balls, and yoga mats. There was very large bathroom, & a poo area that went to 9 feet deep (closed for the season). There is a store on the hotel check in level, several shops on either side of the Arcade, a post office, a coffee shop, a few bars, and a couple restaurants. There is also in room dining until 11pm most nights. Ice machines are located on every floor, with microwaves on the hotel lobby level, floors 2,4, & 8. The bed was amazing and super comfy, and the shower water gets HOT! The towels were fluffy, and I love that they use recycled toilet paper (it's green and made from tree bark before it's bleached). All in all, an amazing stay. I look forward to my next layover!

I appreciate the geothermal rooms as it is the first in the nation to accomplish this. We were a little warm overnight but I slept very well- comfy bed and pillows. The art in the room is local as well as the soap dish and shampoo/conditioner/body wash. I love the locally sourced touch. Parking is in the back of the hotel. I felt very safe here!

The Club Room hosts plenty of events - holiday dinners, opening sports days, and music. The space quickly gets packed. PARKING: Valet is available onsite. We had an easy check-in experience where we signed a short waiver related to having our dog on site, and then headed up to our room on the fourth floor, which was beautifully furnished. The room is color drenched in a dark burgundy and features artful touches throughout, including an antique-looking vanity mirror and a mahogany hutch that contains robes, a safe, a refrigerator, and a mini-bar / coffee service. There were a few things I would tweak to make it a 5-star hotel in by book: first is eliminating the blinking green light on the fire alarm, which was bright enough and frequent enough to disrupt our sleep. Second is having a bedside table on both sides of the bed. Third would be offering ear plugs. We were not significantly disturbed by being downtown, but it is situated in a busy area of the city and this would be a nice touch for guests who are more sound sensitive. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again. The on-site bar & restaurant is fantastic and the proximity to explore the rest of downtown is unmatched.

Upon arrival in the evening, we appreciated the direct access to the room. However, multiple issues arose that significantly impacted our stay. We were unable to get the fireplace to turn on despite following the provided instructions. After contacting the host, we were given the same instructions again, and it took approximately 20 minutes before the fireplace finally turned on. Shortly after, the refrigerator began making a loud, repetitive knocking noise. We contacted the host again to report this issue and asked that it be addressed when checking on the fireplace. The unit above us was occupied, and we experienced excessive noise throughout the night, including loud stomping that made it difficult to sleep. When we contacted the host the following morning to ask whether the upstairs unit would also be occupied for our second night, her immediate response was that we could "just check out." This was not a reasonable or helpful solution, especially considering we had paid for a two-night stay. We expected the host to communicate with the upstairs guests and ask them to be mindful of the guests below. Additional concerns included water pressure issues. While the bathtub is visually appealing, after running the water for approximately 20 minutes, it barely filled, making it unusable. Flooring throughout the unit is uneven, with large gaps between planks partially covered by rugs, creating both comfort and safety concerns. While snacks and drinks were provided, one of the items. a mini loaf had visible mold and was not safe for consumption. Due to the combination of unresolved maintenance issues, excessive noise, and poor communication from the host, our stay did not meet reasonable expectations for the price paid.

The first floor is a common area to enjoy. The decor is clean, classic, and suitable for the home. The home smelled fresh, the areas were wiped down and organized. We even had breakfast waiting for us in the fridge and home made cookies on the counter. Up to the second floor and into our room to the left we were greeted with a spacious king bed with a working fire, seating area, and best of all, jacuzzi tub. Stand up shower but the tub is where it's at. Doug walked us through all the features of the TV, remote controls, jacuzzi buttons, and history of how this once barn became a home. By the time he left we felt like family. Wish we found this earlier so we could have stayed longer. Before he gave us the keys and retired for the evening we were given restaurant suggestions in walking distance along with a coupon good to use at a few of them if interested. No pressure to eat at any one of them in particular. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place in Cleveland Ohio that is perfect for you, you and your partner, or family.

It's new, and it's the only B&B in Berea, with the quaint downtown square right around the corner. The owners are quick to respond to any problems, the location is fantastic, the beds are good. Even the *towels* here are top-notch. When I checked to make sure I didn't have down pillows, I found brand new allergy shield pillow covers on high-quality synthetic pillows. When you stay in a B&B in an old Victorian or heritage home, usually that means dealing with a tiny bathroom, undersized shower, and so on; the beautiful old home that houses Riverside Gables was completely renovated in fall 2012, with nice big showers, new fixtures, and new floors. Guests even have a sitting room, with a kitchenette and fridge, Keurig coffee machine, spare dishes, and (my favorite) electric kettle and teapots for tea. Glass bottles of water are kept chilled for the use of the guests, and it was great to have that bottle of water to take to my room (and also not feel like I was wasting a plastic bottle just to have something cold to drink.) There's also a separate back door for guests. Breakfast has been excellent: fruit salad to start, juice, a beautiful omelette the first time I stayed and a Belgian waffle this morning. The owners have a beautiful Golden Retriever, but he is not allowed in the B&B portion of the house. Catherine is lovely to talk to, knowledgeable about the area, and responsive to the needs and preferences of her guests.
