First things first the person that welcomed my friend and I when we entered the salon is Hailey and she is who you want to look for. She is so informative and genuinely there for all your needs and more. There was a small Language barrier but that didn't matter at all, she listened very patiently to my friends request and provided me with the care she believed what she believed that I needed for my finger nails and feet.. My feet oh my goodness was I embarrassed to even let someone get near my feet and what Kevin Hart would can them "Sun Flower Seeds". I was so shy and embarrassed to wear sandals and slippers due to how my feet look.. But Holy shit I am so happy with the outcome of my feet that I just want to walk bare foot out in public! However, when I asked about prices, the woman at the front desk quoted me $90 just for a gel manicure (no extensions, just gel) plus the cost of a pedicure. I was honestly shocked. I even asked, "Is that for both?" and she said no, it's $90 for the manicure alone. When I mentioned that other salons charge around $100 for both, her response was, "Well, you can go to the other place." That should have been my cue to leave, but my toes were in desperate need of a pedicure, so I went ahead with just the pedi for $35. Unfortunately, as you can see from the photos, the result was terrible. The ironic part? The manicurist even used an extra light to see my feet--and still did a job that looked like it was done in the dark. Long story short: don't waste your time or money here. Go to the salon in the same building instead. I had even planned to grab food at the Banh Mi place afterward (which is amazing, by the way), but the experience here completely ruined my appetite.

The massages are wonderful, and my gel nails always last a long time without chipping. Dari is the best! She's incredibly kind, pays close attention to every detail, and always makes sure my nails look perfect. She also gives an amazing leg massage during the appointment. I also appreciate their cleanliness and hygiene practices. They use disposable nail files and single-use buffers for every client, and their nail clippers, nippers, and cuticle pushers are sterilized after each use. It's reassuring to know they take sanitation seriously. Highly recommend!

I was really looking forward to trying this salon and booked the **Healthier Eco-Friendly Gel…read moreManicure**, along with an additional French manicure service. I want to be fair and clarify that I was happy with the nail technician and with the final appearance of my nails. Unfortunately, the overall experience was made very uncomfortable by the attitude and behavior of the salon owner. When I arrived, I was confused about where to park, so I politely asked the owner whether I had parked in the correct place. Instead of asking where I had parked or offering any helpful guidance, she simply said yes. From the beginning, I did not feel welcomed. Her manner was cold and dismissive, and throughout my visit I felt as though she was treating me with irritation. The service description included a **hand and arm massage**. However, the hand massage lasted only approximately 2-3 minutes, and I did not receive an arm massage at all. Although I was happy with the nail technician and the final appearance of my nails, the full service described was not provided. I had also paid extra for a French manicure. While choosing the color, I asked whether I could use a different base color for the French manicure. The owner gave me what felt like a very unpleasant look and responded rudely and sharply, **"THAT IS EXTRA $5."** I had no issue paying an additional $5 if that was the salon's policy. My concern was the disrespectful and condescending way she communicated it. At checkout, I misunderstood the credit card policy. Because I had entered my card information when booking the appointment, I thought my card had already been charged. As I was leaving, the owner called out, **"Ma'am, you have to pay,"** which made me feel embarrassed. Once she explained that the card was only used to hold the appointment, I understood and paid for the service. After I paid, she questioned me about leaving no tip. I found this extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate, especially because I had already felt unwelcome and upset by the way I had been treated during the visit. Tipping should be the customer's choice, and I did not appreciate being confronted about it. I explained that I had paid for my service and that I was unhappy with the way she had spoken to me. She eventually apologized, but by that point I was already very upset and embarrassed. I want to emphasize that my criticism is not directed at the nail technician. Although she did not do a good job with the hand massage and did not provide the arm massage included in the service, her overall manicure work was good, and I was satisfied with my nails. Unfortunately, the owner's attitude and the failure to provide the full service described overshadowed the quality of the actual manicure. I left feeling uncomfortable, humiliated, and unwelcome. A salon visit should be relaxing and pleasant, but this experience was the opposite. Despite being satisfied with the technician's work, I would not return because of the way I was treated by the owner.

The studio itself is clean, modern, and cozy, so it really feels like you can switch off for a bit while they take care of you. What really stands out, though, is the level of detail in their work. They specialize in Russian manicure and structured gel, and it shows in how precise, careful, and long-lasting the results are - your nails come out looking flawless and stay that way for weeks. Every cuticle is perfected, every edge is smooth, and they take their time to get the shape and finish exactly right. It's the perfect place to get your nails "tuned up" - whether you're maintaining a classic look or trying something more elevated, you walk out feeling polished and a little bit spoiled. I'd happily recommend Pixie Lab and specifically Veronika, who gave me home care tips and helped me treat a problem.

The appointment took around 2.5 hours, and I liked the final color and overall look of the nails. The salon itself is very clean and has a luxury/self-care vibe. As soon as I walked in, they offered me a complimentary fancy drink and a small treat, which was such a nice touch. They also have iPads available during the service, so I ended up watching Emily in Paris while getting my nails done. What impressed me the most was their cleanliness. After each customer, they thoroughly cleaned everything with Clorox wipes, including the desk, chairs, and surrounding area. As a first-time customer, they also gave me 10% off plus a cute little gift bag with cuticle oil, hand cream, and nail care instructions. The reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because I expected a little more attention to detail for a professional service at this level. A couple of nails had small imperfections. For example, one thumb wasn't fully covered near the edges and part of it looked matte, almost like the top coat didn't fully seal the edge. One other nail also had a slightly uneven surface. They're small details, but noticeable up close. Overall though, I enjoyed the experience, loved the atmosphere, and would consider coming back again to try other technicians.

The atmosphere was genuinely pleasant. The spa was clean, well-organized, and appeared to use quality products. First impressions were solid. My only issue was fit rather than quality. I'm a guy who works out and does Olympic lifting, and I get pedicures about once a month, so my feet tend to be heavily calloused and need firm, thorough work. My technician had a lighter touch that didn't quite address that. The result was the least effective pedicure I've had, though I want to be clear that's likely a mismatch more than a reflection of her skill. The salon itself seems like a good option for many people. It just wasn't the right fit for my specific needs, and I probably should have communicated what I was looking for upfront.

Unfortunately, the last time I went I booked the $30 manicure and when I went to pay, I was told that they don't offer that manicure anymore even though it is on their website and they charged me for the $40 manicure; they also used the grinder to remove the gel and push back cuticles which caused thinning and indentations in my nails, and within a week I have a nail fungus in multiple nails (also pictured). I am so disappointed and thought I had found a new local place to frequent, but I won't be going back again. I ended up having to go to a dermatologist and getting on medication due to this nail fungus. I went into the nail salon had a nice conversation with the owner showed him my nails and he did refund me for the manicure and apologize and that employee no longer works there.

However, the chair I sat in (water was already on and I had had my feet in the tub for a couple minutes at this point) wasn't actually working properly as the tub jets weren't functioning. I was asked to move to another chair. That's no big deal. But then, my sister's chair wouldn't move backward or actually turn on the massage function. We asked if we weren't using it right, but they ended up pressing a switch at the foot of the tub that we couldn't see and her seat started working... for like 5 minutes. It turned off after that and she had to ask repeatedly for it to be turned back on. Turns out, same exact thing for my chair. Also, the plastic of my remote was broken and the seats even when working were so weak it was pointless. The massage chair is one of the best parts of a pedicure, IMO. Oh, and the cover of the jet popped off while I was using it and splashed water everywhere. Woo. But to top all of this off- our pedicures which were priced on the fee sheet as $54 came to a whopping $76! When I asked the girl that checked us out to clarify, she said it was because we got gel. An extra $22 for gel!? And not a single word of this up charge? Yeah, nah. So I left with an $85 pedicure and a back that had no pleasure of massage. Wah wah. We will not return.
