we just had the baked ziti and an eggplant roll n both were super delicious! Better than any other restaurant or pizzeria around. The portion of ziti was huge n enough for two people with some leftover n baked to perfection al dente. they were generous with the ricotta n mozzarella Reminded me of how my mom n gma use to make it. Giuseppes also make the most authentic tasting sauce, with quality tomatoes n good balance of spices. My kids drink it right from the serving cups! There are many pizzerias in SI but none are authentic as Giuseppe'. i lived in Sicily for many years so I know great Italian food when I taste it n Giuseppe's has it! The crust has a really nice crunch and it's very thin. If I had to pick the best pizzeria in Eltingville it would be Giusseppe's. Is it the best pizza on the Island, no, it is not, but it's very, very good. The problem I have with this pizza is the sauce, especially on the Margherita. It's raw sauce. Now, some people may not mind, but I like the sauce on my pizza to have lots of oregeno, basil and garlic. I didn't get any of that here. I also have an issue with the lack of cheese, they don't exactly put enough cheese on the pie and that is sometimes the case with thin crust pizzerias. However, some of Staten Island's best, such as DOUGH by Licasti and Denino's do manage to produce a fairly thin crust and still be able to put a nice amount of cheese on their pie without succumbing to pizza flop. That is the mark of an excellent thin crust, a thin crispy crust, a good amount of sauce and cheese and maintaining the "No New York flop," rule. Gripes aside, their crust is excellent. Even when you take out their pizza the crust holds its crunch many minutes after laying in a box and coming out of the oven. The pie comes with a decent amount of basil too. read more

I love their pizza it's in my top 3 pizzerias . However when ordering take out on at least one occasion we ordered rice balls. The rice balls tasted rancid and inedible and had to be thrown out. For this reason I cannot give them a good rating. . Their pizza is great however the Rancid rice balls are a deal breaker and I will not order from them anymore. read more

I have been eating from here for over twelve years and everyone knows this is my favorite pizzeria of all time. It all began with that grilled chicken Cesar wrap which the dressing has changed over the years though remained delicious! I highly recommend the thin and crispy pie and not to throw shade I stand by it being better than Deninos. All of their food I've never had issues with and always 5 out of 5 delicious. I went her on a recommendation, I had the regular cheese pie, which had a delicious sauce and a nice amount of cheese. Next time I had a Ham & Cheese calzone and baked clams, which both were very good. I have since be en ordering on a regular basis, always consistently very good. read more

Avoid!! Just dropped $22 + tip on an artichoke pie. Artichoke pies are supposed to come piping hot with a smooth white sauce and melts cheese. Instead I received a freezing cold pie with stale cheese and random pieces of artichoke. I'm completely disgusted. read more

Love the pizza here and so far I have not been disappointed especially the crust which breaks down nicely as its chewed . Also had the rice ball special without meat and that also was very good . First time at this pizzeria. If I could give it "NO" stars I would. It should of told me something, when I walked in, there were no one in there. The man behind the counter was just plain nasty. I ordered a Sicilian slice of pizza. Halfway through I found a "HAIR " in the pizza. It was white/gray. I told the man and he said it was not his, (his hair was gray) it certainly was not mine (I have dark hair), End result, I couldn't eat the rest of my slice. That man was actually calling me a liar, thinking I just wanted another piece of pizza. I definitely would of not taken another slice or anything from that place. Ordered 3 dinner dishes. Veal had overpowering lemon taste from that fake lemon extract. Chicken nuggets were overlooked and oily . Chicken parm was ok. Delivery guy was very nice and deserve a star Was my favorite place for awhile. Very disappointed. Will not order from here again read more

I have ordered from this place a thousand times, I constantly praise this place and recommend them all the time, but after today I will NEVER order from them again. For the first time I had an issue with my order today, the restaurant which is usually good with not messing up gave me the wrong sauces in two of my pastas and the wrong garlic bread. When I called to inform them of the error I was not expecting to be received by such a nasty and unprofessional employee. If this is the way they treat a loyal customer after they made an error you can be sure I will never order from them again. And I will make sure everyone stays away from them as well, no one should be treated this way. When I expressed that to the employee he hung up on. So do yourself a favor and avoid this place because customer loyalty and overall respect of a paying customer means nothing to them. read more

My friend and I ordered food from here. I ordered the shrimp parm dinner. The shrimp was terrible. It had a very fishy taste . I had to throw it out. Their sauce has absolutely no taste whatsoever.
