Horrid!!! I ordered a chicken Caesar salad wrap and they brought it with dressing on the side instead of mixed inside or the wrap. The wrap was not placed together. As soon as I took it out, it all fell apart like a salad. I will never order from here again! Very disappointed. The place was crowded but we didn't wait too long for a table. The food was plentiful but not expensive!!! The pizza was very tasty and had enough for the two of us and some to take home. Terrible i ordered two large pizza's. when i picked them up the girl handed me the boxes they felt lite and the boxes was small.. i got back to my car and opened the box to see what the pizza looked like i thought she gave me the wrong order. they had almost no cheese on them and almost no crust i said never again i do not mind spending $18 for a pie but al least put some cheese and sauce on it with a crust..the pie was about a $10 pie at best read more

Every slice looks great here, but my basis is the regular slice. Grande cheese is the standard; which is a reliable way to show the public you make a good pie. Thick sauce and decades of char on the bottom. The end crust crumbles apart in your mouth, releasing oven smoke into your throat. That's the best part of the slice , even taking attention away from the cheese. It's a polished place - pretty, respectable, with actual men behind the counter. I've been ordering from Domenico's for years. However, the quality (and the staff) has changed drastically in the last 2 years or so. I ordered two wraps today and the girl on the phone put me on hold three times, leading to a phone call that took 13 minutes... to order TWO WRAPS. Then the order finally came 30 min later and guess what... They got it wrong. They charged me for a wrap that was lacking two ingredients (both ingredients factoring into the price). I thought that everything would be packed deeper into the wrap so I took a bite. I immediately called them and let them know what they had forgotten. The girl immediately put me on hold for 5 minutes and then returned saying she could "swap it out". I told her I took a bite out of it already (not knowing what was missing). She again put me on hold and then a manager got on the phone and lectured me about how they made a mistake and it's not a big deal. You're right, it's not a big deal. But taking my already eaten wrap and using the ingredients over for the next customer is. This is in fact, a health code violation. I will not be ordering from them again. Had an AmazonLocal deal and made a reservation for our party of 4. First confusing bit is that there are TWO pizzerias on Staten Island named "Domenico's", so I checked three times to make sure we were going to the correct one (Google maps auto-filled with the other one- by the way, not sure if the two are affiliated in any way). We get to the strip mall where it is located and while the parking lot is packed, it looks like the pizzeria is closed. Happy to say I was wrong about that, as we were able to go in and be seated at our table. The place is extremely small. I'm shocked that a place of this size and casual atmosphere would be offering a $50 AmazonLocal deal. Waitress/server wasn't too pleasant at the beginning of our meal. She wasn't rude, she just seemed grumpy and certainly not welcoming or friendly. She warmed up after a while and actually cracked a few smiles. We ordered a lentil soup, the "special" salad, and two pizzas: a margherita and a white pie with broccoli. They bring out bread and butter- the bread was actually pretty good. She next brings out the stands for the pizzas, and I'm wondering about the soup and salad. She said something along the lines of the pizza area and kitchen working independently, so things come out when they are ready and sometimes everything all comes out together. Um... am I the only one who might see some issues with this practice? I think it would behoove them to coordinate a little bit better. Margherita pie was average. The sauce had a sweetness to it, almost a biting sweetness. I did like that the crust was thin and had a nice crisp. Oh, and before it was brought out, someone came by to ask us if we wanted fresh basil on it. The menu says it comes with fresh basil, so I was incredulous that we were asked if we wanted it- of course we wanted it! But sure, I can appreciate that they asked, if their experience has been that many others say the don't want it. It was a good amount of basil. White pie was more promising. Had some good flavor and was garlicky. The salad was good and beautifully presented. To be frank, I felt it was a little over-the-top for your basic strip mall pizzeria. This was fare for a more chic, upscale restaurant, but I appreciate the effort! It was a bed of arugula with some prosciutto and BURRATA on top of it, with a pineapple jam sauce. Loved the sauce and really liked the presentation- I just think it didn't "match" the ambiance of the place. The lentil soup. A little salty, but good, until... I crunched down on something. It was a STONE. Yes, folks, we actually got a stone soup yesterday! I bring it to the attention of waitress, who brings over owner, who looks horrified for a split second, says we won't be paying for the soup, and brings it to the kitchen. She comes back shortly and says it actually wasn't a stone but an extremely dried lentil. Wish I had taken a picture. It was a grey stone. I've made lentil soup enough times to know what a lentil looks like, and that was no lentil. Well, I guess the fact that her kitchen crew declared the stone a dried lentil was reason to not take it off the bill. I was going to say something but one of my dining partners urged me to just let it go, since we already had the deal voucher. This place is easy to over look. the outside isn't much to look at, but DON'T LET THAT FOOL YOU! The moment I walked through the door I was greeted politely by the pizza maker himself. The rest of the employees at this establishment were very nice and attentive. The pizza itself was pretty decent. I paid four dollars for a artichoke and spinach slice of a decent size. The interior was warm and inviting, the tables a little too close together for my liking, and I could imagine if it were jam-packed that there wouldn't be much privacy, but overall I would definitely come back. They're located in a bizarrely desolate, half-empty mini-strip-mall, but the interior's got the typical Italian-traditional decor going on. I also order their Panelle special with rolls from Cammareri's and Caciocavallo and fresh Ricotta cheese from Lionni's (both the best in Bklyn.) This Sicilian sandwich is as good as Joe;s and gives you more as is less expensive than Fernando's of Bklyn a . Today I ordered baked ziti Bolognese (with fresh Mozzarella) and the Tre P ( Alfredo with prosciutto and peas with grated cheese and fettuccini with grilled chicken. Been coming here a couple times a month for the past few years. Ok so their regular pizza ok, not terrible but not the best. Everything else is excellent. The price is a bit more then other places but you get a lot of food. Delivery is usually less then an hour. For some reason they aren't on the website Where You Eat.
