I was heading back to my hotel from target when I passed this place. I Decided to stop in for some food. When I got back to my hotel, the clerk saw my bag and asked me where I went. I told him, "brother's." he smiled, nodded, and said "they're good." He was right. It's a nice place, nothing fancy, they do have a nice dining area. The people are friendly. I decided to get a margherita slice, and I saw these little balls. I asked what they were, and he said "potato croquettes." they came in an order of three. I got my food and I took it back to my hotel. It was amazing. The slice, the dough was perfectly thin, not tough at all, it was a very good quality cheese, I could definitely taste the basil, and the sauce underneath was amazing. The croquettes, they were not over breaded or over fried, they were very tender. The potato inside was creamy and delicious, and they came with an amazing marinara for dipping. This wasn't just your normal tomato sauce. This marinara had a deep rich flavor that went perfect with the croquettes. The price was extremely reasonable for what I got. They are cash only, but they do have ATM at the entrance to the store. I'm a fan. Next time I'm in the neighborhood, I will be back. Thank you. read more

Ordered two pizzas for delivery: Buffalo chicken and pan pizza. Total (not including tip) was about $65. Both pizzas had cardboard crusts. The pan pizza was soggy in the center, tough throughout most of the slices, and not crispy except, mercifully, at the edges. It was loaded with mozzarella but didn't have nearly enough tomato sauce to cut through the fat. The buffalo chicken pizza had a tough, mealy undercarriage, with dry chicken and not enough sauce. My order was delayed by about 10 minutes, taking over an hour to arrive even though I live nearby. It definitely wasn't worth the $74 I paid post-tip. I've been eating at Brothers Pizza since the brothers actually owned it. I don't know who owns it now, but it has definitely changed a lot. The once tasty pizza has been replaced with a tasteless sauce and really chewy dough. The sides I ordered left much to be desired, that being the rice balls, the mozzarella sticks and the potato croquettes. The mozzarella sticks were the only tasty thing I ate that afternoon. With this pizzeria, and this review, my pizza project for finding the best slice of pizza in New York City is over. I ordered 3 slices here, a regular plain, a Sicilian, and a white. All of it came out to under $10, but they do not take credit cards. With all that said, let me get to the slices. Regular slice: Solid slice, well balanced, the crust is more chewy than crispy. The cheese pulls away from the slice and it can get messy. The bottom of the crust is big and could be used as a breadstick. I liked this slice the most. It is like Rick Astley, it will never give you up, and never let you down. Sicilian slice: A very cheesy Sicilian slice. It has a fluffy crust, plenty of sauce, but does not make you feel stupid afterwards. It is like that kid who everybody picked on, but later learned not to. It might not be pretty, it might make for an easy target for ridicule, but once you give it a chance and see it for what it really is, you will be happy you took a chance on this slice. White slice: My least favorite of the slices I tried. The crust is undercooked; the cheese is uneven and messy. This is one slice I regret buying. I have had better white slices elsewhere; this is one I strongly recommend you look the other way. -- As the last pizza joint, I am happy I finished on a relatively high note. The regular slice is a good slice for the value, it has the qualities that I seek in a New York slice. It blocks out the evil and brings out the good in us. It is not the best slice I had, (forgive me, for I went to 30 pizzerias across five boroughs in a city with a population of approximately eight million people) but I think I can expect good things out of this slice in the future. read more

I literally ordered food and they charged me more so i leave and call the store on my phone and ask how much was it for what i got and they tell me a cheaper price and i asked why are your workers charging me more and i said it happens a lot and they just dont care so i feel like they are teaming up stealing money from the owner by up charging customers. I let it go a couple of times but it has been happening a lot and it has gotten out of control they change the price on their customers whenever they want and it is usually the older hispanic workers. I came here on a Monday when Denino's was closed, but I thought it was a hearty if not a gigantic delightful pizza. We split a pepperoni pizza, and even for 3 people we couldn't finish it. It's really not something that's easy to eat with one's hands. The slices are huge and it's heavy from the cheese, but if you use a knife and fork, that's easy to overcome. It was overloaded with pepperoni and had a great flavor to it. Definitely don't need to ask for extra cheese. Service was good. We did start with calamari which was good but nothing amazing.
