Rice balls and a slice
Chrissy E.

This place has become a staple when I visit my family in Staten Island. They have a plethora of food to choose from, but you can never go wrong with getting a slice, especially one that's hot and ready to go. My cousin got a plain pie and I got two "rice balls" aka arancini and a margherita slice (at least that's what I think it was). The rice balls were incredible and comparable to those that I had in Sicily. The slice was like heaven. The ingredients were so fresh and it was hard not to devour it in one bite. I def. savored that slice as best I could. Not sure if I'll make it back there before I leave and if not, I know I'll be back next time.

Update: Chicken roll was pretty good on my last visit. It was stuffed with big pieces of chicken and loaded with cheese. The sauce was pretty good too. Their squares are classic Sicilians and something you expect to find in a classic pizzeria.

New ppl working in here and burnt my pizza and the wait for two slices was so long and the pizza order came out wrong but the wait was so long im hungry to complain and wait again i just ate it. And why is two slices of pizza and an order of Caesar salad with chicken $30???????!!!? Such an unhappy ang unpleasant experience. Except the kitchen lady and bathroom they were nice

This is my favorite Pizza spot on the island. The pizza is always nice and fresh, the service is fast and friendly and the ambiance is cool and laid back.

OK Tough Guy - Stop claiming to be from New York City. Everyone knows you're from Milford, Pennsylvania or Fishkill, New York - Please spare us the lies and stolen valor. Bronx born, Long Island raised, Toured the Means Streets of Every Borough in this City - Battling the Demons in countless Emergency Rooms across the great city of New York - And, yes - I lived in Queens throughout my tenure which traumatized me. No Psychiatrist could calm be down; The only thing I could find to relax me is a good slice and an ice cold Mexican Coca Cola; - I've had them all, across Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx and in the current decade - G-d has brought me to Staten Island. If you are still reading this, I guess you have figured it out, sizzle chest, this Fat Hebrew boy knows what he's talking about. Brother's Pizza in Staten Island quite possible may be the best and finest Pizza on the planet. Take a Prozac New Haven - yeah, you guys are amazing - But, you haven't tried the Sicilian slices at Brother's Pizza in the enchanted and forgotten world of Staten Italy, I mean Staten Island. Confession, please don't have me wacked for saying this, the regular Napolitano slice is off the chart too. Why is Brother's Pizza so incredible? Does this Pizzeria sit upon ground containing magical water, pumped from the sacred ground making the most incredible and delicious pizza dough? Is it the "Love" and "Skill" of Filippo Giove and his Colorful and Friendly band of Loyal Meshugganahs Pizza Boys who pull each and every one of their culinary masterpieces out of the oven. Let's cut to the chase, Pizza is exceptional and made from the finest ingredients. Every visit to Brother's Pizza, you will get service with a smile and perfection. Don't be a putz, make the shlep to Staten Island - Yes, they have Parking. I suspect you may find some of the best pizza, particularly the Sicilian, on the planet earth. Don't forget to show Love and Respect to the G-dfather, Filippo - He's just a regular, run of the mill Mensch. L'Chayim / Salute!

Heaven !! My go to at Brothers

I have been going to Brothers pizza for decades it's my goto spot for QUALITY authentic old school slices . The Sicilian is their most popular for good reason but the vodka slice and margarita are pizza perfection , BEST chicken roll by far and entrees that really are very GOOD and nice portions . The owner is very cordial and and a excellent staff to deal with the crowds

Pizza was amazing !!! I highly recommend this establishment. Friendly staff and lots of options

First time here and I was blown away by their Sicilian slice, the crust, sauce, and cheese were perfection! The crunchy and chewy corner could be best described as pizza candy. The guys behind the counter were super friendly and service was flawless! One of their guys has also won 3rd place for best pizza in the Wisconsin Restaurant Expo! The establishment was clean with plenty of tables for seating and clean bathrooms. Highly recommended!

Tasteless pizza

I've been eating at Brothers Pizza since the brothers actually owned it. I don't know who owns it now, but it has definitely changed a lot. The once tasty pizza has been replaced with a tasteless sauce and really chewy dough. The sides I ordered left much to be desired, that being the rice balls, the mozzarella sticks and the potato croquettes. The mozzarella sticks were the only tasty thing I ate that afternoon. I had to cover the pizza squares with seasonings and it still didn't help. Sadly, I will never eat there again.

Still one of the best when it comes to taste but the finished product is sometimes inconsistent. When paying the high prices here, perfection is expected. Sicilian pie should have some crisp and be cooked fully on bottom. This wasn't

Pizza has tons of oil. Amazing flavor. But it's just has too much oil. I've had better pizza, but for last minute run it's perfect.

Best on the island. You can never go wrong here. Anything you order is good. There's a reason they are always crowded.

I thought the sauce was quite nice, with a good balance of sweet to acidic. The dough was thinner than I expected, so I experienced significant flop when I pulled out a slice to eat. If you prefer your pizza to be able to hold its shape when folded, I would suggest allowing the pizza to cool down a little before eating. The MOR pie was surprisingly good-- the onions added some sweetness and crunch while the ricotta helped keep the pizza from becoming too heavy. The classic plain pie is also excellent, with a good amount of cheese and a well-baked undercarriage. Overall, an excellent pizza-- the crowds did not lie. I would love to return to try their garbage or a salute pie, along with a cup of Ralph's Italian ice from across the street (I'm told this is the elite combo). PS- Pies only, no slices. Slight discount with cash, and there is a small parking lot in the back.

It has a casual vibe, but still feels like a proper restaurant, which makes it perfect for anything from a quick bite to a relaxed sit down meal. It's a small spot, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation if you plan to dine in. I've tried their signature coal oven pizza, chicken parmigiana, penne vodka, and the flatbread. Everything was absolutely delicious. You can also order drinks, not just soda or juice, which adds to the overall experience. Street parking can be a challenge, but it's worth it. I was so caught up with enjoying the food that I barely took any photos, and that just says it all. I'll definitely be back and add more pictures next time.

Many cultures around the Mediterranean have different forms of chickpea fritters and/or…read morechickpea-filled sandwiches. There's of course falafel to the east, garantita in Algeria, and panisse in France (or socca in a similar vein). Sicilian panelle is Italy's counterpart, and the version at Ungaro is an excellent example of it. The panelle comes served with a healthy serving of ricotta on a seeded bun. It has a relatively mild, filling flavor that lets you fully enjoy the chickpea fritters themselves. They also have a potato croquette sandwich on the menu - a distant cousin of the Vada pav I plan to try next time. The half vodka pizza we tried was good, with high-quality mozzarella and a decadent sauce. The pie itself had a nice chewiness to it - if I had any suggestions, perhaps next time they could go a bit easier on the quantity of the sauce.

Schlepping all the way out to Staten Island for this pizza was a risk I decided to take, and it paid off. The restaurant is close by the Staten Island Railway, and inside feels like a true Italian pizzeria, but not like one you would see in Brooklyn. This one is more high quality, and it shows in their pizza. The pizza is phenomenal. Outstanding. I got two pies, one red and one white, for contrast and both are worthy of terrific merits. El Naso, the red pie, is beautiful in color and taste. The porky sausage and the hot soppresata add a nice flavor to the pie, the crispy crust, it was all lining up nicely to be a great pie. I am happy I went with my gut and got this. For my white pie suggestion, I asked my server, Leslie (more on her in a moment), what to get. She suggested El Pizzaiolo. Like the red pie, it tastes gorgeous thanks to the silky and luxurious truffle oil. The crimini mushrooms and Italian sausage accentuate it beautifully and the Parmesan reggiano cheese provides a sharp, salty note to the pie. It rounds the whole thing out nicely. Leslie is one of the reasons I enjoyed my experience. At first I thought she was just a tease with her giggly and youthful demeanor, but after talking to her I found something more deeper and meaningful. There is a depth of intelligence that she has but a naïveté that needs to be cracked before her. The fact that tips mean nothing to her speak volumes about who she is. I really wanted to give her something significant to take home with her, but fun conversation and the fact she is mentioned here will be enough for now for this attractive, lissome soul. Since both pies filled me up nicely, I had to pass on dessert. But I promised that down the line I will be back because the pizza is just so darn good. Leslie, thank you for the lovely experience and I hope someone sees my compliment and gives you a little extra in your next paycheck. You deserve it. Like this pizzeria well deserving of a five star review.
