I prefer a more diverse dry tasting, but I could still appreciate excellent wine. I even appreciated a tasting of their port, which is not usually a wine I would try. Taste it before and after a bite of dark chocolate. It is surprising! For me, where this location shined was the great hostess, Stephanie. She was a lot of fun to chat with, and she remembered us when we visited their sister winery, Passion. Cabal is also a lot of fun with their imagery and designs on their wine bottles.

We had been on small tours before and the guide went through the tour quickly and ended early. Not this Guide! Dave S. was a wonderful guide! He took extra time and care with us, a couple Seniors. He enthralled us with constant stories of surrounding towns and Jerome. He has amassed a great deal of knowledge having lived in the area since a small child and with various guide jobs over the years. He actually asked us what we were interested in and took care to allow us to take in the sights and pictures. And in Jerome, since my wife uses a walker, he dropped us off in front of the restaurant where we planned lunch, then picked us up just up the block. The waitress was kind enough to let us switch to outdoor seating even though our reservation was indoor. I ordered the lasagna and found very dry and chalky. It was still very picturesque, and my boyfriend's pizza looked and tasted yummy. I would most definitely go back, I'd probably just order something else.
