I've come here a few times and the food is always great. I recommend the freshly squeezed orange juice, I love the chocolate chip pancakes. Service was nice.

Came to the original pancake house located in miami and I have to say the Doral location is much better! Our service with genesis was great so it definitely made the ambiance and setting better. Since it's close to Halloween, most were dressed like princesses and it was very cute. Hot chocolate and western omelette was the only thing that was worth it! That western omelette can feed 3 people... beyond huge! As far as the 2x2x2 breakfast eggs and sausage was super dry and the pancakes I'd have to say did not impress me. I would come here again for the omelette and possibly try something different.

Came here on a Sunday morning at 0815 and it wasn't crowded at all. The hostess Paulina was very cheery and upbeat and seated us immediately. Our server Mariana was sweet and very attentive. The standard American coffee and cappuccino were both good. Our orders came out quickly. Both our skillets (Santa Fe and 3 Meat Ranchero) were delicious and filling. The basic pancakes were just the right texture. By 0915 it was starting to get crowded so I'd recommend coming earlier unless you don't mind crowds. We also got an oven-baked omelette to go but I'm sure it will be good. Total bill with tip and tax was $80. I felt I got my money's worth.

This is a Miami staple! I've been coming here for years and this place consistently comes through! The food taste homemade! Even though you could compare it to IHOP or Denny's, the food here is better hands down! For instance, I had breakfast here a week ago and the hashbrowns alone tasted better and were a bigger portion than its competitors! One of my favorite dishes is the Dutch baby which taste around a half hour to make...if you're hungry make sure you sit there and wait pretty cause it's gonna be a while, lol! Last time I didn't get to order it cause I got there 20 mins before closing! But ima dedo come back for the Dutch Baby! It's so delicious, comes straight out the oven! Oven baked, served with whipped butter, lemon and powdered sugar! It's to live for! They have egg breakfasts with the usual sides. The ambiance is filled with Miami locals, families...patrons of all ages. They're only open til about 3 in the weekends so don't be too late or you'll miss out! Plenty of parking in the lot!

Warm diner that always smells so good that if you were not hungry already, you are as soon as you walk through the doors. I dined with a big group, and our waitress was very attentive and accurate with our orders. Food was good too. I love when I done at a place that has good food all round; gluten and gluten free. The gluten free waffle was amazing!! I've tried their gluten free pancakes and those are good too. This place is a classic and I'm SO glad it has yummy GF options.

This spot did not disappoint me ! I got the waffle combo and asked for a blueberry waffle with scrambled eggs and added a side of the home fries. The waffle was PERFECT! The home fries were very yummy but just a tad salty for my taste but still edible and tasty! My mom had the steak breakfast and the steak was cooked perfectly was tender and flavorful! The orange juice is natural and was also very good. The server was kind and attentive. The booth seats are not the most comfortable but the place overall is perfect for a casual brunch / breakfast I will definitely be going again! :)

We were visiting the area and it's been a while . I got the skillet has seasoned home fries peppers, onions cheddar cheese bacon , sausage or ham with Two eggs it was delicious. My wife got the avocado toast with two eggs she loved the addition of feta cheese it was a winner she loved it , the toast was thick ,N crispy the coffee was good and so was our server . Practically empty and quiet for a change.

The OG of all things pancakes. Come and you will wait but it's not long and you'll see why everyone waits happily. The menu consists of breakfast goodies and more like handheld sandwiches and burgers. So its not just all about the pancakes...but more of satisfying your hunger through all things delish. They have a variety of omelettes, eggs, frenchtoast, skillets, cereals, waffles, oatmeal, and of course a variety of pancakes. It's not just pancakes with fruity toppings or sauces but they have sourdough , buckwheat, potato, bacon (yes, bacon pancakes) and then some. And don't forget to finish it all.off.with some great coffee or the best damn fresh squeezed oj I've ever had!

Service was good . Food not so great. Had to pay extra to get hash browns and they came out burnt . The pancakes were just ok not the best . Very pricey not worth the money

It's easy to place a food order, and I always get takeout. Unfortunately the food order was prepared incorrectly. The waffle was soggy, and the portions were quite small.

It's ok, the place is a bit rundown but it's decent for diner style food. 49er pancakes are better choice. Crepes were not fantastic. Dutch baby was just ok. Capuccino also just ok.

The service is amazing. I always get the same waiter Everytime I come here, always working her hardest. Don't even get me started on the food it's sooooo good everytime I come I always get the chicken and waffles and those are amazing. The vibes in here are insane it feels like time travelling back in time to early America and it feels good.

The Shakshuka was okay--perfectly edible, but nothing memorable. The Steak & Eggs was pretty much the same: decent, but definitely not worth the premium price. The biggest disappointment was the pancakes. They were dense, had noticeable lumps in the batter, and were nowhere near as light and fluffy as good pancakes should be. The syrup also didn't taste like real maple syrup, which was surprising considering how expensive everything is. Speaking of prices, Café Bastille is seriously overpriced for what it delivers. The restaurant also wasn't cool enough inside--the air conditioning struggled to keep the space comfortable, which made the meal less enjoyable. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job throughout the meal. One more thing that is becoming increasingly frustrating in Miami: the bill already included a mandatory 20% gratuity. While I always tip for good service, automatically adding 20% regardless of the experience feels excessive. This trend is getting out of control and takes away the customer's ability to reward service based on merit. Overall, this feels like a place designed more for tourists than for locals. Nice presentation and good marketing, but the food simply doesn't justify the prices. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back.

I happened to be in the area so I checked out this place which was pretty cool. They had bar seating, couch seating with tables as well as outdoor seating. A lot of people were there working on their computers while having drinks and pastries. I had a salted caramel latte which I ordered at the computer and was served quickly. I requested it with oat milk, but it was made with whole milk and the barista had no issue remaking it for me, which was nice. The flavor was amazing with just the right amount of salt and caramel; it was not too sweet and it was very smooth. The only issue I had was the parking, there was absolutely no place to park so I had to double park in an alley and run in to get my drink. However, I imagine if you live or work in the area it would be a cute place to pop in and get a beverage. They also had empanadas and some various pound cake slices which people were partaking in so I imagine they were decent.

The breakfast burrito, however, was more of a 5/10 very basic and didn't stand out compared to the other dishes we tried. Food Quality: We ordered burgers, which unfortunately were overcooked. My husband decided to send his back, and while the second attempt was better, it still didn't hit the mark. We also tried the fried chicken sandwich, which was decent but fell short of the excitement promised in the menu description. Hunger vs. Quality: I was too hungry to send my burger back, so I ended up with a well-done burger that lacked the juicy flavor I was hoping for. It's disappointing when you anticipate a delicious meal, only to have it miss the mark. Pricing: I also found the prices a bit steep, especially for the drinks. The juices felt overly expensive compared to the overall dining experience. In summary, while Cafe Americano has potential, my experience was just okay. The food quality and value didn't quite align with our expectations. I might consider giving it another try in the future, but I'd approach it with a bit more caution.
