Went to First Watch for brunch with the family, and it turned out to be a culinary experience that rivals any five-star hotel brunch, but at a fraction of the price. Every dish we tried was a standout, and together they created a feast worth savoring. We ordered the Trifecta, a classic yet indulgent combination of buttery golden-brown waffles, perfectly scrambled eggs, and thick-cut bacon that was crisped to perfection, simple but executed with excellence. The Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict was next-level delicious: silky poached eggs nestled on toasted English muffin, layered with delicately smoked salmon and topped with a velvety hollandaise that brought it all together in rich, savory harmony. The French Toast was everything you want it to be, thick slices of brioche soaked just right, golden on the outside, pillowy inside, and finished with a touch of powdered sugar and fresh berry compote for balance. Finally, the Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos were a vibrant and flavorful surprise, filled with perfectly seasoned cage-free eggs, crisp veggies, roasted corn salsa, chorizo, seasoned chicken and a touch of monterrey jack and cheddar cheese, creamy avocado, and black beans, hearty and refreshing all at once. As usual, we shared every plate (and lots of laughs), and each bite was better than the last. The staff was exceptionally patient and kind with our group, even with our picky temperature preferences (we asked for some food to be reheated, not because it wasn't warm, but because we're particular that way). They handled everything with warmth and grace. Thank you, First Watch, for delivering both high-end flavors and top-tier service. If you're searching for a budget-friendly brunch spot that doesn't compromise on taste or experience, this place absolutely delivers!

Walking in, we were immediately greeted by the smells of the smoked meat and the wood and country music. The place was decorated very patriotic with photos and patches and paraphernalia of first responders and service members. It felt like home. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Their sweet tea was on point. We opted for a lighter lunch and decided to share the 3 meat sampler with a few sides. It was a good portion for 2 to share (for a lighter meal). They have different bbq sauces that you can try, and you can even make a 6 pack to go. I will most definitely be returning.

I selected a couple of add-ons for my meal as well. I had house made fries ($3.95), baked beans with bacon ($3.49) with were the highlight of the meal & loaded Mac & Cheese ($3.59), green beans ($3.54). The baked beans were certain the stand out! Service was fast & the staff were very polite. The shift manager even came around to check on the meal with us. Very cool ambiance as well. All based on US Military & first responders. A polite & dignified view of these professions. I would definitely do this over again.

My boyfriend and I came in starving after our match, so we were definitely looking for something that felt like real fuel, not just a heavy brunch. I ordered the Power Wrap, which was packed with fresh ingredients and protein -- super satisfying without feeling heavy. I paired it with the Morning Meditation juice, which was bright, refreshing, and the perfect boost after a workout. My boyfriend ordered the Chimichurri Steak & Egg Hash, and wow... the flavors were incredible. The steak was tender and savory, the chimichurri added that perfect fresh kick, and everything together felt hearty and comforting. Of course, we also had to enjoy it with a great cup of coffee, which made the whole breakfast even better. Everything was delicious, fresh, and nourishing -- the kind of meal that leaves you feeling satisfied and energized instead of sluggish. If you want a great breakfast or brunch in Miami that feels both indulgent and healthy, First Watch is definitely a place worth visiting.

From the moment we walked in, the customer service was excellent. The host and wait staff paid attention to every little detail and made us feel genuinely welcomed. To start, I ordered the cachapa and the lomo saltado empanada, and both were incredible. The empanada especially was packed with flavor. My wife had the bandeja paisa bowl, and I went with the risotto lomo saltado. That dish almost put me to sleep in the best way possible. Comfort food level 100. We had to finish the night with one of their coffees, and it was the perfect ending to the meal. Big shoutout to our server Elvis, who guided us through the menu and gave great recommendations. Usually menus with influences from so many different cultures can feel all over the place, but Luka somehow pulls it off perfectly. They're not just trying to do a little bit of everything. They truly feel like masters of it all. Definitely coming back.

In a city full of places chasing trends, this spot feels genuinely intentional. Every dish feels like it exists because someone truly cared about balancing flavor, texture, comfort, and creativity instead of just making something flashy for social media. What impressed me most was how fearless the menu is. You can feel the fusion influence throughout the experience without it ever feeling forced. The kitchen clearly understands restraint and execution, which is harder than people realize. Even the smallest details feel considered. And honestly, the fact that they're serving burgers and pancakes at night on weekends is genius. It sounds simple until you realize how rare it is for a restaurant to execute comfort food at that level late at night without sacrificing quality. Somehow they make it feel elevated and indulgent while still warm and approachable. It gives the place this amazing personality where you can have a creative brunch experience, then come back later for one of the most satisfying late-night meals in Kendall. The owner deserves a huge amount of credit too. You constantly see him moving through the restaurant, checking on guests, asking for feedback, and making sure everyone feels taken care of. That kind of hands-on hospitality is becoming rare, and it completely changes the energy of a place. You can tell this restaurant means something personal to him, and that passion reaches every table. There's a reason they've been recognized for having some of the best pancakes in the country. After eating there, it makes perfect sense. The pancakes are ridiculously thoughtful in both flavor and texture, somehow nostalgic and innovative at the same time. Places like this are what make Miami's food scene special. Not just because the food is great, but because there's genuine heart behind it. Try the pork belly, bahn mi pancakes, cheesecake pancakes, hangover pancakes, and chicken thigh high pancakes. All are hits, and dont forget their creative coffees.
