As a big fan of this place, I am happy they opened another location closer to my parent's house! I…read moredecided to take my parents since they had never been and it was a great experience. The wait for a table was quite long but it was a Friday night so it is what it is. To eat we ordered the Greta salad, the Star Carlos, and then we made a personalized pizza. Everything came out quickly and was delicious. For the Star Carlos pizza, every triangle crust piece had the chorizo sausage in it and it showed that much more effort on making the pizza so perfect. Can't wait to come back soon.

There's a small lot next to it but you can park in the main mall parking lot as well. Walking in, you may think this is just a take out place, but snaking down the corridor you will reach the dining room. Of course if you come here you have to try the star shaped pizza, which has a generous dollop of ricotta in each star corner. While there are a few star-shaped pizza on the menu, you can order from the pizzas on the first page and request it to be made star shaped too. They are well known for their pizza, though I personally find it too thin. I like it with a little more chewt, airy doughy texture. But that's just personal preference. Service wise, maybe our waitress is new, but out of four things we ordered two came out wrong. The billing was also incorrect.

It looks like it has been here for years but it is clean and the seating is comfortable. As soon as you enter they always greet you and seat you right away and a server will come to your table to give menus and take drink orders and will always be available. They always have specials posted on a chalkboard. They have a very full menu with a lot of choices. Their portions are big and the food is fresh and the prices are very reasonable with friendly and quick service. Sometimes this place can get very busy and Parking can be a challenge but most of the time it's easy to get in and out. This is a great local place to come with family and friends. The noise level is perfect, it is great for conversations. I would definitely recommend this place.

Forget about the fact that the big cheeses prices can't be beat, their portion sizes are each good for two meals at least! This is an old school New York style pizzeria / Italian restaurant in South Miami. The service is ultra-friendly, fast and efficient. Everything on the menu is delicious and more than worth the value. Like I said, it's worth the drive and I'll be back!

The description on…read moretheir website stated - Vine-ripened Alta Cucina tomatoes, local burrata (made fresh daily!), garlic, olive oil & fresh basil. It was SOOOO good, that the next day I visited myself to check them out. They have a mini sit in area and a few tables and chairs outside. Service was friendly and efficient. I think this place mainly services pickup and delivery. But you can sit in if you like. I ordered their Wild Shroom pizza. Their description online states - Crimini mushrooms, thyme, shallot, mozzarella, garlic confit, caramelized onions, parsley, sourdough breadcrumbs. This was also good. I adored the smashed garlic on it, and wished there was more of it. The middle of the pizza was a bit soggy, but it was still an excellent pizza. Their pizza dough base is sour dough, which made all the difference. I recommend.

The guy at the cash register was average, he wasn't mean or anything but never really explained the menu to us or even told us about the happy hour menu. We just happened to notice from a sign they had posted outside. When we grabbed our pizza it was around 5pm on a rainy day so the restaurant was empty. Can't really judge the vibe based on the circumstances. Overall, i don't know why so many people give the place 1 star. I thought the pizza was delicious for ten bucks. I docked it down a star because if it wasn't for the happy hour special, the pizzas would be a little pricey but they are well made. If I am in the area after shopping I would gladly go back.

I hadn't been here for a very long time.. but we came yesterday for an early dinner…read more We ordered a Caesar salad to share to start. The portion was fine, and I liked the dressing, but I didn't like that the dressing came on the side as opposed to being mixed in.. I'm not a fan of paying for a sit down and then feeling like I have to work for my food. We ordered a carafe of the red wine Sangria. It was nothing special.. the only fruit was the little fruit in our glasses, none in the carafe. It was like boozy watered down wine.. I don't recommend it. There is no Children's menu here which is a shame. My kids dont like pizza but they love pasta.. they wouldn't eat any of the pasta options on the menu as it was so I asked for penne with Alfredo sauce that they could share. They did like it, but it wasn't enough food for them. I ordered the Ravioli Lombardía (pear and Gorgonzola) however the waiter came back and advised they were out, so he recommended the Mezze Maniche Bronte (pistachio pasta). The Mezze Maniche Bronte was dry.. it didn't have a sauce to it, it was basically pasta out of the pot with pistachio and stracciatella on top.. so I mixed in the stracciatella so it kindof becomes the sauce (again, working for my food). My mom ordered the papardelle bolognese (and I also ordered one to go for my husband). It looked really good.. but my husband said it was okay at best, which is how I felt about my pasta as well. Since the kids were still hungry we ordered a dessert pizza 'chocolate and strawberries' it said. We were pretty sure they'd forgotten about it because it took a long time. Nutella always tastes good.. but the strawberries were very few small slices and they looked sad, perhaps strawberries that had been frozen and thawed. The Nutella goes all the way to the edge, rather than a pizza with an outer crust that you can grab and pickup from, so again, more working for food because I had to cut it up into bites for the kids despite it being a 'pizza'. The ambiance here is very casual and the service isn't great (there was a shift change during our time there - the first server was good). They have booths which I like, but the vinyl on the seats is cracking so my son was complaining that it was hurting his legs. The space is much larger inside than I had realized (I ate here years ago but in the covered outdoor area). The prices here are very high for what it is. We were not at all impressed.
