This review is specifically for the food truck, which came out to my neighborhood. It was delicious. The original was tasty and packed a little spice/heat. The chicken bacon and ranch had good flavor. The loaded tots were perhaps my favorite with lots of flavor and a good dipping sauce. The bacon cheese fries were also terrific. The chicken tenders and fries were my kids absolute favorite. My child said they were the best she's ever had! Definitely check this place out. read more

I'll say this. When I visited, the portions were good. BUT the taste ruins it. They mix the cheese in with the meat while it is cooking, which tastes gross, and they chop the meat up so much, that it seems almost minced. This has potential to be good, but they just don't know how to make cheesesteaks right. read more

The dude working the counter was very nice, polite and has a great personality for workin with people. I ordered the original cheesesteak & fries and it was phenomenal! Bread was SUPER soft, sandwich had tons of flavor with the meat, cheese and peppers. Fries were excellent and FRESH. Having eaten at both Gino's and Pat's in Philadelphia, I was excited to see this restaurant open up near our home. We stopped at 11:30 on a Wednesday and were the only customers. We definitely wanted to try an original with onions and Whiz. We ordered a large to split, with chips and a drink. Price was just over $11. Makes no sense to order a small at $8 when the large is $9. I could have actually eaten the large myself, but for lunch, sharing was a good idea. The person at the register was not a happy employee and certainly not someone I would want representing my business. I did not feel welcome. Our food came out really quickly and the bread was fresh and the sandwich was nice and hot. The sandwich was good and I would return and possibly try some of the other options they have. read more

My first time eating here at the Original hoagie. It's very good. I ordered the original, without onions. It is shredded steak with sweet and hot peppers and I chose provolone cheese. The peppers give it a nice kick and the small size was plenty for me. I added onion rings, wow, those were great! Super crunchy! The rings come with spicy mayo. We have gone there many times. The hoagies are either very good or just OK. It depends on who is cooking. Either way they are better than most sub places. They taste much better if you eat them there. But they are still doing mainly carryout. read more

I lived in Philadelphia for 13 years and the Ultimate Cheese Steak with Provolone without Salami (who thought of that?) had no resemblance to a Philly Cheese Steak...and $10???!!! It was dry with a "hard, dried, tiny KNOT of meat". Cheese was indistinguishable and lettuce & tomato didn't deserve honorable mention. I actually think the ball of meat was cooked hours before; I say that because I live nearby, but the sandwich was cold when I got home. Wonderful addition to Lorain. We got the original cheesesteaks with an order of fresh cut fries and o rings. Cheesesteaks came out perfect! Piping hot with the perfect amount of melted provolone and cheese whiz paired with onions, mushrooms, and hot and sweet peppers. The spicy mayo was a delicious pairing with the o rings. This place is phenomenal. I've had the original, a buddy had the hangover steak, my wife has gotten the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, and among a bunch of other stuff on the menu. It is always great, and the staff are good people. The beer batter fry have old Bay seasoning on them and are fantastic and by far my favorite side. They have four taps with draft beer and many others in bottles and cans so you can enjoy a cold one with your cheesesteak. I keep trying to talk them into doing a food challenge cheesesteak, like a 2ft long one, I know me and a few others would definitely try it. Food was good but pricey 28 dollars for 2 large cheese steak 9 a piece, a large fry and one drink. Cheesesteaks were delicious didnt have mayo but I heard someone after me ask for it I just didnt know to ask myself. Would go back just not all the time they should adjust prices or have specials. You can go to chipotle or brown bag which are local for the same price and have leftovers to take home. Restaurant was very busy after only being open 3 days with return customers so that says something in itself. Solid 4 star only because of price. read more
