Getting here was a little confusing even with google maps showing us the way. We sort of followed the crowd but ended up having to turn around near the end because the car we were following was going somewhere else. It's pretty easy to figure out who is from the area and who is not because of the different directions you can go and who can and cannot take their right of way. It's pretty funny to watch. The stores here are pretty much like all the other stores you see at the outlets. This time around, we only ended up at Nike. There wasn't a line outside even though they were having a 40% off everything promo at the time. The employee standing at the front of the line was helpful and asked questions honestly. I had a question about my husband's military discount and was told that it couldn't be stacked, which is fine. The store was nice and fairly large. The line wasn't so nice since it was long. It would've been nice if they limited the amount of people allowed to go in at one time since there was no social distancing in the line. I mean it's a good thing everyone had to wear a mask but still... The line was long but the wait wasn't too bad. All the workers were helpful and around to help if you needed it. The store was clean, which is surprising since everyone is rustling around everything in the store. The workers worked hard to keep the store clean and it was a breathe of fresh air to see. I came from a retail background and I know how hard and dull the job can be at different times of the day. Just keep busy and be good at what you do and reap the benefits of being a great employee and a team player. Okay, enough of my PSA. You'll have fun walking around this area but be careful driving around especially if you're not familiar with the weird turnabouts. read more

Holiday season at Legends has boosted my opinion. They had an awesome tree lighting ceremony this past weekend where they gave some juice to 10,000 sparkling twinkly lights on a 40ft tree. Gasps. Applause. Cheesy? Yes. Fun? Yes. Festive? Yes. A cute little 'ice' rink for kids. Hello Kitty taking pictures with kids and parents alike - random, but cute. Holiday efforts have given this place an extra star in my book but Scheel's is still the coolest reason to head out there. read more

There is a lot of construction around there still so during the Christmas week, it was a challenge finding parking and just getting around the center. However, it is worth a stop here since they have so many different outlet stores that had good prices and a good selection even right around the holidays. Easy to walk around. read more

I come here pretty regularly, especially if I am early for my gym class, just down the road on Lincoln. The Outlets At Sparks is on the other side of town for me since I live in South Reno and I don't think I've really bought anything here except at the anchor store, Scheels. The mall was built in 2008 to house 45 + or - stores and some are in transition. It's located right off of the 80 East and Sparks Blvd. I like the fact that there are stores or places for everyone. There are restaurants; O'Clearys, Fuddruckers, Grimaldis and a yogurt shop. Off Broadway shoes is a huge shoe store on the other side which may be an anchor type store and there is the IMAX Theatre. Lots of outlet apparel shops - Vans, Guess, Lane Bryant, Sketchers.. the list goes on. I like the water features, plaques and statues scattered throughout the mall which commemorate Nevada's history. I am particularly fond of the one commemorating the history of the Chinese in building the railroads. The mall is a nice place to walk on nice weathered days. It almost has a park like setting. Great place to walk and get those fitbit steps up. Pop into Scheels for a ferris wheel ride or enjoy their mega sports superstore. They have items for every sport you can think of. But this information is saved for my next review! read more

We would like to give two shout outs for the outlets. First to April at Express Men's. April helped my sister find the perfect pants and ties. She knew the styles inside out and helped us find the right sizes. She went above and beyond and we really thank her for this. I am quite partial to people named April and now I know why. They are a spectacular bunch! The second shout out is to the ladies at Ann Taylor Loft. They helped my sister find the perfect size and color shirt. Normally we don't get such great advice in dressing rooms. I tried on some medium tops and the ladies told me that was NOT the right size. Thank you for preventing me from buying clothes two sizes too big! My sister was quite pleased with her shirt. Thanks for the wonderful Reno hospitality. For a town that thrives on tourism, they are doing a great job in keeping visitors happy. read more

Worst idea in the history of dumb parking control ideas to block off one whole side of the giant parking lot in front of Crunch Gym and Old Navy. Created huge unnecessary traffic jams 20-30 cars long and probably cost some merchants a lot of business today. Super dumb! read more

Stopped by here for a break on the way home, this is a very nice open air outlet mall but the store options aren't the best. Or at least compared to other ones I have been too. Only plus side is all the food options near by but that is it. read more

What a great way to get most, if not all of your shopping, dining, and entertainment needs met. From luxury theaters to see the latest movie releases to standard everyday stores like Target, Petco, and Burlington, you can now even hotel in the immediate vicinity for a shopping staycation. Specialty stores like Scheel's make the Outlets at Legends a fun excursion. There are lots of places to eat and get snacks. Rocket Fizz is a favorite for the kids while Chipotle is a grownups favorite, to be sure. With new stores, new restaurants, live entertainment, plus the close location to the Sparks Marina makes me predict that this will be Sparks newest hotspot. 1 star removed for lack of parking. read more

For the past couple of years, I've made it a Thanksgiving holiday get-a-way for my siblings to drive out to Reno and just hang out. We usually end up at the Sparks Outlet for Black Friday shopping since there's practically no lines. There aren't any high end shops here compared to the Vegas outlet, that's for sure, but it's just the fun experience of us hanging out together as one big family. I love the holiday decorations and cold weather, sometimes it'll even snow so it just makes the holiday season that much more enjoyable. We don't come here purely for the shopping experience, but it's slowly becoming a fun family get-a-way from the busy city living. Any place that can bring a smile to my entire family is always worth making the extra drive out to, even if it may seem silly to others. read more

Now I feel like a true legend (in my own mind) when I finally hit the mountains and found the outlets in Sparks. This is a small outdoor outlet with maybe fifty stores. The complex reminds of the outlet in Petaluma-out in no-man's land. But Legends has anchor stores i.e. Olive Garden, Target, Best Buy's and Scheel's Sporting goods. Among the stores that I visited and shopped were the Adidas store, Bath & Bodyworks, Bose Audio, Forever 21, Van's, Volcom, Nike outlet, and for a couple of my favorite yelpers, I made a quick browse in the Sanrio Store. "And no, I didn't buy any Hello Kitty stuff(s), ok!" I'll review some of the businesses I've shopped and visited. Stay tune! The outlet is okay for Sparks/Reno. But certainly, the complex is not better than any of the outlets near home. read more

Coming from the Bay Area this outlet mall is a 5 star location. There are virtually no lines or stores crowded like it is a Black Friday sale. I have never had to wait in any substantial line when shopping here which is a big plus coming the Bay Area. I have been to the outlets on multiple occasions and the area is always clean. There is also plenty of parking around the outlets so parking is a non issue. Legends has a great layout and all the stores are easy to find. There are plenty of areas to sit and relax if you're feeling tired. They have a handful of places to eat and there is a great theater (Galaxy Theater) located at the outlets. They have plenty of big box stores like Banana Republic, Old Navy, GAP, Nike, Guess, Levi's, etc. If you need to do some outlet shopping this may be the place to go if you're in the area. read more

I don't find that outlet centers really promote outlet prices. So I can't figure out why this places calls itself an outlet center when so many of the anchor stores Are Not Outlets. Go figure. Strangely, my favorite store here is the Farmer's Almanac Store. Do I really need that kitschy Christmas tree ornament that lights up and spins and blow bubbles for $12.99? Yes, I do, dang it. Visited Reno the week of Burning Man (to my surprise) and figured I'd get away from all the downtown congestion at the Big/Little City by visiting the Outlets... walking in expecting nothing and walked out with 15 bags and a better mood. WINNING!!!! Great assortment of stores, fell in love with Forever 21 (and spent a few hours there)! Nike had a great selection of stuff compared to other Nike O's I've been to where stuff is cheap but only carried in every size except for the one you actually want/need. Also Vans, Gymboree, Carter's, with multiple sizes and styles throughout with a little something for everyone and to top it off, they had AMAZING sales on a Tuesday, no Holiday required!!! Who doesn't love stuff on Sale?!!... with further markdowns and an additional percentage off to make it even more affordable! Yes, I walked out with so much stuff that it couldn't fit in my luggage going home but it did not put a dent in my wallet and I had no Buyers Remorse, which I sometimes do after going on a female-shopping craze! The only thing about my experience is that the employees probably dont work off commission, and it shows. Can I please get a "Hello, Welcome to (insert store here)" upon walking in? Sheesh. Talk about giving me the silent treatment (except Gymboree, they were friendly but a little bit too friendly almost pushy)... but 15 bags and a free ferris wheel ride later... I am a happy camper. Totally felt like I got my money's worth. "Back to school clothes shopping" for my 9-year-old turned into "just for the heck of it and a whole lot of it" clothes shopping for me and all the kids. When it comes to Shopping in the City of Sparks, there is no other stop then the Legends Shopping center and right now is a very exciting time to stop by with the expansion that they are making 2 Brand New Hotels that will offer beautiful sunsets and not to mention walking distance to some of the hottest name brands, or maybe that's not your cup of tea but your wanting to save while your in town theres a Burlington coat Factory that too recently opened. An I've had the pleasure to visit and to ease out of all that shopping you been doing there are plenty of places to get your drink on here while your waiting for the crowds to die down or to enjoy the evening, if dinning out is what your looking for then the shopping center will definitely have you covered with beautiful restaurants like BJ's and Olive Garden or if your wanting entertainment then that is also covered an please allow the nice folks over at the Galaxy theater show you not just a movie but a fantastic experience in their luxury seating. But in all honest I've had a few bad experiences and I've had a few good, allow me to share a few of each and thank you again for allowing me to share my thoughts, my opinion and my views on everything the legends Shopping Center has to offer. Some of the great things to look towards is if you stop by the Galaxy theater theres a gentleman by the name of Ken or Kent very nice older gentleman not only does he make your experience a great one but he also loves his job and cares mainly about the guest experience, stop by and tell him Hi and that Troy sent you. Not that he might know me but tell'em anyway. A few other stores I've had amazing experiences were those of the following Converse, Adidas, Torrid, Gamestop, Best Buy to name a few. An some bad, not saying every experience is horrible but the last few times I've been to the Book store the employee didnt even notice me in the store for 15min. But overall in nutshell this is one of my favorite places to visit on a dayoff, not only is it a good place to relax but I did not mention theres a marina right next door for you to either go walking or just to release some steam or stress in everyday life why not grab your trunks and go in for a quick dip or go hunt some catfish, bass, trout or even something who else knows what in the Marina. But dont take my word for it. Head out there and experience it for yourself and make some memorable moments your either able to share via social media or in everyday conversations. read more

We have been to many outlet centers. This one is average, we walked around searching for things to get our kids while here on the weekend for vacation. Hadn't found much until we made it to Scheels. If this is the only reason you make it to this place, it's well worth it!! Reminded us of a Dicks Sporting Goods or Sport Authority but "kicked up a few more notched". Well worth the experience. Two floors of shopping and they carry everything from fishing gear to camping gear. Guns to an interactive shooting gallery. Other interactive fun things are a 5 Sport simulator, Nascar, Golf & a wildlife Mt. Seasonal apparel and gear in stock. Men, Women, & Youth sportswear and accessories. College pro shop. Plus, unusual displays such as a beautiful fish tank in the main lobby, museums and a restaurant. Go check it out. This is the BEST thing about this outlet center. read more

I think the Mall portion of Legends is really well thought out and beautiful. It is a proper outdoor mall with inward facing stores with lovely courtyard style walking paths and seating areas, unlike the Summit Sierra which is just a common strip mall. Legends has several water fountains, sculptures, outdoor fireplaces, and lots of plants and trees (love the lanterns in the trees!). Maintenance is going to be a huge task, especially in the winter! I really like that they incorporated so many local and Nevada themed artworks. I'm not sure I understand everything and it's not entirely a cohesive look, but I do appreciate the well illuminated art installations. I really like the fish sculpture. I think they need more public restrooms, and more accessible ones. They have proper signage but the smallish restroom is located down a long dark isolated hallway in between the stores (the backdoor to many stores actually) and my friends deemed it the "rape corridor". I haven't been to many of the stores, but I'm glad to see that it's a mixed outlet and regular retail mall. (funny that they tore down an outlet mall to build another one on top of it, albeit a much better designed one). Of the few stores I've been in, the employees of the various retailers were very well trained, friendly, and helpful. I'm glad we are getting retailers that don't yet have a Northern Nevada presence too! The only store I went into was BCBG and while I did buy a great dress, I would say that I can usually find better deals on newer items at Macy's or Dillards on sale. (actually, the dress I bought I tried on last fall but didn't buy at the time because it was $$$, it eventually went on sale a few weeks later but Macy's ran out of my size. I found this place a couple days ago when I was family bonding in Reno through Yelp. :) Thank you Yelp! lol. I read previous reviews that it was a great place to go to! And after going to this today before heading back to California, I must agree with everyone else. It's an awesome outlet center. My family and I, after checking out of our hotel in downtown Reno, ended up arriving before the outlet stores were even scheduled to open, so we roamed the Target right across the street. The stores that I went to were worth waiting to open at 10am. Forever 21, Vans outlet, Converse outlet, Nike Factory. The only downer was that the Nike Factory didn't carry much casual shoes, but I did cop myself some JR Mogon 6.0s. They're nice. I can confidently say, all the stores I went to had such nice employees. They each greeted me whenever I happen to pass by any of them with a bright smile on their faces. :) I shall visit this outlet center again next time I'm around the Reno area. read more

It's hard to believe all the development in and around the Reno area in the last 5-10 years. This outlet mall is another great addition to the Sparks area. We came here for a walk after a large meal, so no real intentions to shop, but I can see us shopping here if we needed to. Lots of shops and lots of deal around considering its not a holiday week or weekend. But then again, it is an outlet so I guess deals are an expectation. There were lots of parking, clean restrooms, and seating around in case you got tired. Everyone loved the Scheels store, not only was it big (bigger and better than Bass Pro Shops), it was entertaining for the kids. All in all, great place to window shop and take a walk. read more

This is one of the more enjoyable malls in the area. I love the outdoor layout, though admittedly it doesn't always work well in the Winter time here. Unfortunately an outdoor mall can be pretty crazy in Reno/Sparks because of the unpredictable weather here but honestly, I just don't go during those times so it's not really my problem. However, I do imagine this is their problem and they might have a difficult time keeping stores in business here. Honestly, an outdoor shopping center in this area is really only good for about 3 months out of the year, being generous. Again though, as long as they stay open I'm happy with it. I love to park at the Marina and walk to this mall and it makes for a great afternoon. I have to give it 4 stars because I can't do 5 simply because it's so hard to know when you'll be able to go here so I rarely ever plan on it. The variety of stores is good, but the prices? Can we really call these outlets? As a whole, I enjoy coming here when the season is right. read more

This is a favorite stop for our family. Anchored by the amazing Scheels sports store. It's A sports lovers heaven that has two floors of gear, clothing and equipment to do just about any sport or outdoor activity you have in mind. In addition to the diverse shopping options, you can also: get a history lesson on the presidents; ride a real old time Ferris wheel located in the middle of the store; and play mini games like bowling, or putting, or even shooting targets in their arcade gun game. Everything is housed within the two floor mega sports store. The outlets also have a variety of food options like Olive Garden, Chick-fil-a, BJ's Brewery and more. There are also movie theaters and a number of other stores we enjoy shopping at and they normally offer good discounts. It's a great place! read more

This was a usual stop for me whenever I visited Reno. They have a Volcom outlet which in my experience is quite rare. Besides Volcom, my usual spots are also Nike, Scheels, and occasionally Vans. I like that this is an outdoor style mall. it has a great water feature in the middle for the little kiddies to play in during the hot summer months (please parents make sure your kids are polite and respectful of others while playing). The many statues are great for when you just want to meander around since they have a bit of Nevada history written nearby. Not all the stores are outlets, though for the most part you will find a somewhat discounted price. this varies from as little as 20% - to a whopping savings of 75%+ depending on the item and store sale. There are several food options, in the upstairs there is BBQ, at one corner there is a pizza place, and there is a frozen yogurt and pretzel shop in the middle. This is the mall I will go to when I just want a bit of fresh air and some window shopping, while secretly hopping to find one of those whopping savings deal on something I need and want. read more

The Outlets at Sparks is a large outdoor shopping mall for anyone and everyone! Nice sculptures and figures all around the stores highlighting different Nevada facts! In the center of the shopping center there is a fireplace and fountains that shoot water (kids play here a lot)! There are also public restrooms are available for patrons! Notable Stores: -Scheels: Giant 2-story athletic sports store, freshwater and salt fish tanks on opposite sides of the store, giant ferris wheel in the middle, statues of famous individuals scattered around the top floor -Galaxy IMAX Theater: 3d and 3d options on a huge screen! -Tons of food vendors such as Olive Garden, Chipotle, BJ's, and many others nearby! Overall: B Definitely a great place to visit if new to Reno/Sparks or looking for specific stores in the area! This outlet mall is nice, and becoming nicer as they keep adding new stores and continuing the construction. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out when all is finished. Wish they could do something more about the amount of dust blowing around in the back parking lots -- when we get a good windstorm (as is typical in summer afternoons around here) it can feel as if you're practically being sandblasted as you head back to your car (or try to find it, that is). Here's an idea -- maybe add some misters to the outdoor areas to help keep people cool in the summer as they're wandering around in the baking 104 degree heat since it's an outdoor mall? We love the water features and landscaping; misters would really be the icing on the cake and would make this place a big draw for crowds during the hottest days -- days which are almost unbearable just walking in between stores around here. read more

Outlets at Legends is a wonderful shopping experience. With a sort of old western theme about it, there are many interesting things, other than the shopping, to look at. I love the blue ram statue and the fountain in the center of this shopping mall. While there aren't enough variety of the higher end stores like Armani, Gucci, Prada,etc., the stores that are here are pretty decent ranging from Addidas, Nike, Bose, Jones New York, BCBY, and Scheels, the most interesting store. The ambience here was what I really enjoyed. I tend to prefer shopping outlets that aren't as busy, so, if you're an introvert shopper, you'll enjoy coming here. If you like noise and loud bells and whistles and have an appreciation for noise pollution, you'll probably hate Legends. One other thing, the safety in numbers sculpture of a school of mini dolphins shaped like one gigantic dolphin was cool to look at. I really appreciate the statues, landscaping, and artistry that show imagination the visionary who architected this mall. Thanks! read more
