Also, some cushions on the seats of the chairs could be helpful since upscale dining typically takes a little longer, and the all-metal chairs get a little uncomfortable after some time. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful with fine art and soft lighting, but we would definitely recommend sitting outside under the beautiful old growth maple trees and enjoying the patio during summer. The potato dippers are not your typical fries. Not sure what kind of machine (?) cuts them up, but, they are delicious and outstandingly tasty when you use the chili as a dip! We were also impressed with the selection of mocktails. The No-jito was really refreshing with the mint & lime and not sweet at all. Loved it! Friend had the Donkey and really liked it too. Barlow's food choices need to change with the times, and they need to be a lot more fair with their foof prices. Well, not so friendly.....They need to show their partrons that they actually appreciate them for coming in. Our waiter was nice enough and we didn't go without, but he wasn't that personable and also gave us a real dirty look when we paid after he looked at what we tipped which was very strange. I wouldn't say this years trip here was a disappointment but it was different compared to 1 year ago for these reasons.
