Great spot in Hayden right by the golf course! We loved the large outdoor patio with plenty of tables and umbrellas, plus a covered area, indoor seating, and a full bar. Our waitress, Jody, was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. They have a very diverse menu so it was hard to choose! I had the salmon cakes with homemade dill dressing and the potato cakes with bacon. The portions are HUGE, so when my mom was going to order a full salad, Jody wisely recommended the half-size--and it was still plenty! She had the cranberry salad with grilled chicken, which was fresh and delicious. And don't skip the garlic and onion bread with goat cheese and honey--such a great combination of savory and sweet! Extremely disappointed I had a salad that was drowning in dressing my soup was a tomato hamburger and potatoes w a pickle ontop , The weirdest combination and my husband got the gumbo even though it was spicy it had a bitter aftertaste His beef dip sandwich had no flavor and the onions overwhelmed the beef. The only thing good were the potato chips on his plate. If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. We've eaten here several times over the past few months and wanted to take our family to enjoy the food and ambiance we have. They were clearly slammed. Having worked in the restaurant business for most of my life - front of the house and back, and owning my own, you know if you are slammed, you let your customers know. We waited over an hour for our food and our waitress (who was doubling as the bartender) never even looked at us. She did not deliver our food, and no one ever apologized for the long wait. This is one of my favorite restaurants in CDA, and the food is always great, which is why this is so disappointing. Unfortunately, every time we've had Nicole as our server, the service has been consistently poor. She never writes our order down, and almost every visit something is forgotten or comes out wrong. Drinks often take a very long time to arrive, and we usually have to remind her about items she forgot. It makes the experience frustrating because it happens every time we've had her. While I can't know the reason, it often feels like some tables receive much better service than others. I love this restaurant and will continue coming back because the food is excellent, but I really hope management addresses the consistency of the service so every table has the same great experience. read more

Casual atmosphere with ample seating. We got the gumbo and a pasta special. The flavor of the gumbo was tasty! It definitely was not watered down and was complex in flavor. However, the rice that was under it was hard- like it was undercooked. I honestly wished that the rice was on the side because it was hard to eat the gumbo without eating the hard rice. My kids LOVED the pasta! They devoured it! Service was friendly, but I'm not sure if it was understaffed, as it was very difficult for us to flag down a server if we needed something. Price was fair we had (4) entrees, (2) alcohol beverages and (2) lemonades for $106. The food was good but with some seasoning modifications could be exceptional. I ordered the swimming angle and the peanut butter sauce was too thick and peanut heavy. The French dip needed more cheese and horsey mayo and the corn salad needed paprika and garlic. Ambiance is casual with inside & outside dining. Service seemed good at first, but after delivering our meals we never saw her again. No refills, nothing. The food was truly subpar and a real disappointment. The Caesar salad was the worst I've ever tasted. The OG bread was nothing special. My dad had the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich with corn pasta salad. Floors could have used cleaning and our table was sticky. Food tasty with nice portions. Salads fresh. We are fans of this restaurant conglomerate. Adore Moontime and The 2/7. The Porch is terrible. Terrible service. Terrible staff and subpar food. It is a seat yourself establishment so we checked out the patio. Dirty tables and asked if we could sit there after cleared. We waited forever and the server never came back. We headed into the bar to grab a seat at the bar. The bartender never acknowledged us and kept talking to other customers: IThe bar was sticky and filled with food crumbs. We sat for a few mins and decided once again to move to a pub table. i made eye contact with the bartenderand said, " we are going to move to the tables." she had a frosty comeback, with "Ill allow it." No smile or service attempt. So allow my one star review and me telling everyone i know what terrible service we experienced as we made a fast exit and never ordered. We ordered the Moon Burger with a side of apples, Italian Turkey Sandwich with Roasted Corn Pasta Salad, Half Cranberry Salad, Gouchujang Cauliflower, and Crispy Pork Sandwich with Potato Salad. All of the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the Pork Sandwich. It was cooked just right (not dry) and marinated with (or breading was made with) buttermilk. I ordered it, because it reminded me of the pork chop sandwiches back home. I am going to try and make it, because it was so darn good. I liked the homemade pasta salad and potato salad. Finally came here for lunch as my local folks have been raving about it. Really enjoyed the casual atmosphere, plentiful refills of my Arnold Palmer, and yummy specials (I got the herb tortellini dish, lemon basil parmesan goodness!).
