Italian sandwich with a gluten free bun and potato salad
    Kenna L.

I love this place! I am a gluten free girlie, they have so many accommodations from sandwiches to the Swimming Angel with the best peanut sauce ever! Full bar and awesome cocktails! Their patio is unparalleled and it's a locally owned quaint place that reminds me of Cheers, where everyone knows your name.

Chapter 1: The Green StandardThe Caesar salad was, in a word, transformative. It wasn't just a bowl of greens; it was a masterclass in balance. The romaine was exceptionally crisp, providing a cold, structural snap that stood up perfectly to the heavy, velvety dressing. Each leaf was evenly coated--never drenched--carrying a sharp, garlicky punch and the unmistakable savory depth of high-quality anchovies. The croutons were buttery monuments to crunch, and the generous snow-fall of aged Parmesan tied it all together. It is rare for a salad to be the protagonist of a meal, but here, it stole the show.Chapter 2: The Heart of the HouseWhile the food was the draw, the staff was the soul of the experience. From the moment I stepped through the door, there was an effortless warmth that felt entirely unscripted. My server was a pro--anticipating a water refill before I even noticed the glass was low and offering a genuine recommendation that showed they actually cared about the menu. In an industry that often feels rushed and transactional, the team here moved with a grace and kindness that made me feel like a regular on my very first visit. They are, without question, the establishment's greatest asset.Chapter 3: The Architecture of PotentialHowever, there is a disconnect between the excellence on the plate and the environment it's served in. The building itself feels like an afterthought, stuck in a dated aesthetic that leans more "tired" than "timeless." The lighting is a bit too clinical, and the floor plan feels cramped, muffled by old-school finishes that don't match the vibrant, fresh energy of the kitchen. With a bit of structural TLC--perhaps some warmer textures, updated fixtures, and a layout that breathes--this space could finally provide the stage that the incredible staff and that legendary Caesar salad truly deserve.

A hidden gem. The service was great. I did not think I'd like the pasta but everyone is right, delicious.

Something to suit everyone's taste here and I can usually find something gluten and dairy free (although with some alterations).

I was in and out for lunch. The spot is relaxing and friendly. The lamb sandwich was okay but not great. Worth trying if you're in the area.

Nice local joint with good food, good atmosphere, and good service. Stop in and try the Gumbo! Best I have had outside of New Orleans.

That being said, service was very good. That's the high point. The WINGS were a disappointment. They were akin to Costco's precooked wings, but these were all about presentation versus good taste. Try not petrifying the meat would be a good start. I had one of the hamburger plates. I really liked the fries. These were well prepared. The hamburger on the other hand was lacking any uniqueness or even quality beef. So if you are one of those people that believes a hamburger should be a culinary experience, this is not the dish you want to get here. Okay, I hate to be the negative Nelly, but the worst part of the upscale experience was the crescendo of noise. It crept up on you as the lunch crowd moved in. It was seriously hard to communicate at your own table. The decor offers little to no sound mitigation. Seriously, consider acoustic tiles. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Prices were fair, given our current economic conditions.

Did not expect this!…read more I've driven by this place a hundred times and was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. The inside decor is dark with low lighting giving it a cozy , romantic , upscale feel. Unique decor and decorated cool. The first thing you see when you walk in is a glass floor that you can walk on and can see a table of people Dining in the basement. It's pretty cool. Our server was extremely attentive. Every time he walked by he would check our drinks or ask us if we needed anything... top notch ! The food - it's on the pricier side but worth the experience. We started off with the baked Brie and the blue cheese wedge. The baked Brie was unique. The Brie was wrapped in a house made phyllo dough and covered in caramel sauce. Accompanied by Some fruit and bread. Unique and well executed. The wedge was wonderful. Very tasty house made blue cheese dressing and bacon (I think adding some tomato or onion would have broken up the saltiness) but was still great tasting We ordered the sweet pork chop. I was impressed how moist and tender they cooked the pork.. I have to admit that it was too sweet. Even for me, who has a crazy sweet tooth. It was a unique pairing, but left no room for savory. We also ordered the seafood fettuccini. I believe they house make their pasta and Alfredo sauce. It didn't come with a ton of seafood (a couple large prawns and a few bacon wrapped scallops) but hit the spot. Their house bread they serve with your meal is the highlight! A little loaf of breast drenched in a garlic butter sauce! I'm salivating just thinking about it! I' have to admit, I have high expectations, and this place is probably the better of the many other local eateries I've tried . A little spendy- 2 people , no drinks with tip $130 ish Ambiance - 5 Food- 5 Service -5

The establishment is dim, yet well lit and romantically decorated. We sat next to the bar with a great view of the kitchen. Hot plates going out and everyone's dinner looked amazing. We had the loveliest waitress named Josie! She's the best! She told us the specials and we were sold! We got the freshly baked, personalized, bread that's deliciously slopped in this dill herbed butter. A must try! Our steaks were perfectly cooked, the wine selection went perfectly, and our beautiful waitress ended the evening with complementary chocolate covered filled strawberries, insane! That was an unexpected treat... Highly recommend.
