The Links Golf Course is there, but the restaurant is DEFINITELY worth trying out (even if you don't golf, lol). Ambience just what we were looking for on a quiet Saturday night and great food. Waitress "Betsy" was right on it too. Correct and prompt service with a friendly smile. We especially liked that even though there were several tables, it was an enjoyable evening and we could hear ourselves when talking. A recent visit to a couple restaurants (O'Charleys & Red Lobster), we couldn't hear ourselves, too loud. So, with all factored in, we vote 5. You'll enjoy if you stop. read more

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. Located in a golfing venue you wouldn't expect such fresh and tasty food but they deliver every time. The Rueben sandwich, Italian sub and burgers are really good and if you like onion straws they are the best. Pricing is very reasonable also. read more

We celebrated our fiftieth wedding anniversary here. We had a dinner for about forty. The event room is spacious and easily accommodated us. The food was a choice between chicken Parmesan or lasagna. Pricing was in line other venues of similar quality. Round tables were setup up for eight. The food was very good and the servers were very efficient. My Wife and I love to dance and they installed a small dance floor for us. We were able to entertain our guests with a short dance show. The room included use of a sound system. The only negative with the sound was the amplification was limited and the microphone wasn't working. These factors did not impact us much. We have eaten in the restaurant twice and we enjoyed the food, the staff and the atmosphere. If you like white tablecloths and clean tableware this is the place to go if you are in the Groveport/ Canal Winchester area. We will return often Glenn Smith read more

As another review I noticed, "Hidden gem"! Very nice place and not very crowded. I don't know if people realize it is opened to the public. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich. You can tell it was fresh not a piece of frozen chicken for $9 with hand cut fries. Beer prices were reasonable about $1.75 to $4. They now have live music on certain nights. Casey our waitress very friendly and attentive. Jennifer the bartender is alway awesome as we follow wherever she goes to work! We were looking for a place for supper on a Sunday. The Paddock Pub is on the golf course. My wife had the jambalaya and a house salad. I had meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli. This was decent pub food, and I wish Yelp would let me give it 3.5 stars. It could've been better. My husband and I both got the burgers that were on special: Pimento burger and Jalapeño burger. The hamburger meat was not a frozen patty but hand formed which is what I like. They were just over cooked. The taste was actually good but would've been better if they weren't dry. We also got the fried pickles with homemade ranch. Those were quite good. The ranch was excellent. The pasta salad was bland but the fries were really good. I wasn't crazy about the seasoning so I will request no seasoning next time. Service was great! I think if they could tweak the cooking of the burgers it could be a great place to eat. I dined here last night for restaurant week. The food was bland and could have been better. We had : calamari with citrus aioli- the sauce wasn't good . Sausaged stuffed Mushrooms- They were much smaller than expected PARMESAN CRUSTED WALLEYE- It was baked, I expected it to be crisp but it wasn't. and the crust was sprinkled on top. while the crust did taste good, it didn't cover the fish well. Rice Pilaf- Im pretty sure this was uncle ben's microwave rice We also had banana cheesecake - I expected it to come with bananas and whipped cream or something but there was none. This is an excellent hidden gem in Groveport. We are new to the area and have been disappointed in the food scene. We have gone twice now and this will be our new go to hangout. I would like to give more stars. However, the service tonight was absolutely horrid. I can totally understand a small to moderate delay on a busy Friday night. However, after ordering drinks, we didn't see the waitress back again for at least 20 minutes! Once we ordered our food, it took twice as long to get it to come out. We all thought this was strange and sure enough our waitress was seen sitting at another customers' table chatting away. Clearly she has not been trained properly or just doesn't care about good service. Then, to top it all off, after waiting over an hour for the meal after ordering, it takes close to another hour to get the check!!! Absolutely absurd. By this time, there was hardly anyone left in the pub so I have no idea what she was distracted by this time. The food wasn't bad. We had the buffalo wings and the buffalo chicken sandwich and the brunch burger. The buffalo sandwich was tasty. The brunch burger was cooked well done but ordered medium. The quality of the food certainly does NOT make up for the poorest service I have received in a long time. I do not recommend this pub if you have fewer than 3 hours to kill and want okay food. read more

We were excited when a new restaurant opened near us. Our choices up to this point have been pizza, fast food or drive a distance to a real restaurant. We've been here twice for dinner, twice for special events and a couple times after golf. Menu has nice variety. Staff are very good. Food is not bad, better than other local choices but not quite to city standards. My only complaint is the acoustics. We moved as far away from a group of golfers as we could. We still got to listen to every detail of their game! I golf but I don't need to hear the details of your game, especially from well over 100 ft. The walls are painted and the bar has a nice wooden back. The ceiling tiles are not adequate. They need more sound deadening things. If the place is full it is quite deafening. If they fix that one thing it would be more enjoyable. read more

We had our daughters wedding in the event room and it turned out great. We did the pasta bar and it was delicious. The Alfredo sauce and the chicken were so good. The staff were so helpful and friendly! This is a great place to eat dinner as well. They have happy hour drinks and appetizers! Scott and his staff are fantastic! I haven't had this bad of an experience at a restaurant in a long time. We got there at 11:30am and didn't leave until 1pm. We have four different people at our table and none of them ever asked us how anything was. We got our salad's and soups first and at that point we had already been there for an hour. We got refills once. The food was mediocre/ not good and WAY over priced. For example- I ordered chicken wings for $9 and received 5 total... A coworker got buffalo chicken dip that was $15 total and was the size of a tennis ball. The bread that came with it was so hard you couldn't eat it. She asked for chips since they were terrible- The chips were stale. Received her bill and was charged $3 for a small plate of maybe 7 chips. They had no concern for how terrible they were. We had to ask for the bill and as you can imagine that took a VERY long time to get. Even after all of that- no apology from the server only a shitty attitude with us. I definitely would not recommend this to anyone. I will just stick with the birch tavern next time! read more

We have eaten here 4 or 5 times since they opened, and have never been disappointed. The menu is somewhat limited, but has something for everyone. The service has always been above par. What we enjoy most is the atmosphere. One reviewer has complained about the noise level which has never been an issue for us. It has always been very quiet and peaceful. The food is excellent, and very reasonably priced. The Paddock is MUCH more than what you would expect from a golf course pub. We highly recommend. read more
