The proprietor Willie, with his handsome bartender - very friendly and welcoming.

My husband and I ducked in here to catch the last quarter of the Saints game. We peeked in to find a big TV and a nice breeze from the ceiling fan. Receiving a welcoming, "come on in" we did. And though we were the only straight white faces in the place we were given touch down shots and treated with the perfect southern hospitality we have received throughout NOLA. I chatted with a regular for some time, and when the game ended, the proprietor, Willie came over for a visit. We had a great afternoon, though the strong drinks and the shots got the best of us! We are excited for Willie's move to a much bigger spot on Bourbon and St Anne in the coming months and hope his move brings great success. Thank you Willie and Chris for sharing a great afternoon with us.

Gotta love Jello shots. One of each please.

Love this place, fun and friendly small bar in the Quarter but off the beaten path, just my kind of place. Good stiff drinks, awesome music, and very lively and friendly crowd. Joshua our bartender was a perfect host and made us feel at home.I will definitely come back to The Page next trip. Thanks guys.

I love The Page! Great bar...the staff is friendly and welcoming. Everyone is Family at this bar. Really.

The drinks are strong and affordable. The decor slays!!!!! Every Holiday they decorate to the max! I really enjoy coming here. My favorite is Saints Game Day! They have drink specials, free shots when the Saints score and free food! A full New Orleans spread!!! And it's always delicious!

Interesting name choice for a drink lmao

Friendly service. Reasonably priced drinks. Tight space so be prepared but we make it work.

THIS PLACE! Oh my gosh -- SO FUN. Such a gem, seriously…read more We walked by and decided that we just had to go inside. And I'm so glad we did, because we made friends and had to come back 2 more times before we left NOLA. It's a dive but a quirky and unique one. We had all kinds of different drinks, including the homemade Jell-O shots, and loved every one. Get to know the staff and you'll be so glad that you did. They are truly all amazing and so much fun. Good vibes only!

Chances are pretty likely that this is the friendliest gay bar in New Orleans. Jamie W and I were…read moredoing a rather cursory search when we came upon the enthusiastic reviews for this corner spot on the northeastern edge of the French Quarter. It definitely felt off the beaten track because it required a ride on the red Riverfront Streetcar Line. When we entered the premises, we immediately thought it was a sports bar given all the TV screens that were on, each featuring a different game. Sitting at the bar, there was more of a frisky friendliness from the bearish bartender. His gregarious personality made us feel right at home and not like some dyed-in-the-wool tourists. The subtle decorative elements exposed the true orientation of the bar. There was also a baby boomer vibe because where else would you see a vintage movie poster of "Man's Favorite Sport?" starring Rock Hudson and Paula Prentiss (Photo 3). The price was right: $5 Tequila Sunrises (Photo 10). They were potent, too. Keep 'em comin'. DRINKS - 5 stars...the price and potency were just right AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...divey and a tad crowded SERVICE - 4 stars...nice bartender TOTAL - 4 stars...another round might've pushed this rating to 5 stars RELATED - Exploring New Orleans? A local initially gave us the recommendation and it's my favorite place to go to find community in the French quarter. The bartenders were young, and the only business we saw consisted of drunk women who looked like they made a wrong turn off Bourbon Street. 8PM may have been too early to expect a congregation of social sisters.. No Espresso Martinis to be found here, so we went with our standby, the $12 Tequila Sunrises (Photo 5). They were satisfying enough. Not much interaction with the bartenders who preferred socializing with each other. Ah, youth. We'll give it another try the next time we're in Nawlins, but The Golden Lantern was a friendlier spot.
