As a newbie to any permanent makeup and a tattoo, microblading virgin, I was understandably nervous . There was timely communication from first contact to appointment to confirmation. I knew exactly what to expect with masking and sanitation protocols for our safety throughout. Jane calmed my anxiety by explaining the entire process and each step as she artfully, safely, patiently and with the expertise of a professional in her craft since 1994, executed gorgeous, natural looking brows for me. She started like a Dr with medical history paperwork, taking my whole of humanity into consideration prior to getting into the meat and potatoes of the procedure which I appreciated! Jane assessed my face/canvas and drew what she believed would be beautiful for my structure and let me see for agreement. We proceeded to the microblading process and I feel it couldn't have gone better with knowing which parts would be painful vs rest breaks and the tlc I felt from Jane considering all my allergies and well being. I'm thrilled with the result and excited to see how the artfully crafted brows will look after healed. I had overplucked them in the past and they were uneven and thinned out. Penciling them in hasn't always produced an even well manicured effect. Embarrassing at times. Those worries are now over. I'd definitely recommend Jane as a real trained professional in this industry over a fad instagram star. She has an abundance of personality and whimsical charm. During the appointment, I expressed concern after she finished my first eye because the lashes appeared much longer and curlier than what I requested. I was reassured that they would look different once I sat up. They did not! I contacted her again the same day and when I came back from vacation because the length and curl were uncomfortable, especially since I wear glasses and the lashes were touching my lenses. She later advised she only specialized in D curls, which was not disclosed ahead of time. Had I known I would not have wasted my time or money. What was most frustrating was that this was treated as a difference in preference rather than acknowledging that the final result was no where near what I requested. She assumed it would grow on me. My only request was for the original service to be corrected without requiring me to pay for another full set. Instead of offering a reasonable resolution, I was told that her style was not a good fit for me and encouraged to find another lash artist. She lacked transparency, accountability, and willingness to correct the service was extremely disappointing. This is not the way to treat customers, especially when I already expressed my bad experience I received before with someone else. Do yourself a favor, and choose someone else!

Only to find out that the price is actually 20 times higher than what you paid! Now what?! What do I do with the gift card purchased??!! I hope you're enjoying your 15 minutes of fame you are getting from this Iris! You can try and defend yourself all you want Iris. But it's doesn't change the fact that a lot of people are complaining that Groupon allow businesses like yours to present false advertising with hidden costs at time of service.
