At MaiLash it burned the entire time they were doing it which I was really confused about since I've never experienced that before, and then my eyebrows and eyes were on fire by the time I got home. I immediately called to report it about an hour after but they were closed. When I woke up this morning it was worse, and my eyes were really swollen. They are using something way too strong and leaving on for way too long. Your eyebrows and eyes should not burn during and after treatments. Also had bumps and redness and sent them photos. They do not seem to care. They said I need to come in and show them in person but I couldn't leave work today. I am really worried about my eyebrows long term from their treatment. They also over waxed when I specifically said I wanted minimal waxing.

As a newbie to any permanent makeup and a tattoo, microblading virgin, I was understandably nervous . There was timely communication from first contact to appointment to confirmation. I knew exactly what to expect with masking and sanitation protocols for our safety throughout. Jane calmed my anxiety by explaining the entire process and each step as she artfully, safely, patiently and with the expertise of a professional in her craft since 1994, executed gorgeous, natural looking brows for me. She started like a Dr with medical history paperwork, taking my whole of humanity into consideration prior to getting into the meat and potatoes of the procedure which I appreciated! Jane assessed my face/canvas and drew what she believed would be beautiful for my structure and let me see for agreement. We proceeded to the microblading process and I feel it couldn't have gone better with knowing which parts would be painful vs rest breaks and the tlc I felt from Jane considering all my allergies and well being. I'm thrilled with the result and excited to see how the artfully crafted brows will look after healed. I had overplucked them in the past and they were uneven and thinned out. Penciling them in hasn't always produced an even well manicured effect. Embarrassing at times. Those worries are now over. I'd definitely recommend Jane as a real trained professional in this industry over a fad instagram star. She has an abundance of personality and whimsical charm. I had a consult with her where we looked over lip blush photos I liked & she took her time selecting & mixing a color combo we thought would compliment me. The process took a little over 2 hours. It was fairly painless and the healing process was easier & shorter than the time it took for my eyebrows to heal. There was a bit of peeling the second day but other than that I just kept my lips moisturized. The intensity of the color decreased a tiny bit after the second day. It's been a month now & I am still happy with my results. It's a subtle natural tint & I just feel like I look better with no makeup now that I have the permanent tattooing.
