What a great find!!! We came on a Sunday morning and luckily beat the church crowd because it sure was busy when we left. One of my favorite things about the menu is the go-to breakfast, French Toast, comes with a side of meat, and sausage patties was an option, which I obsoletely prefer over links. Usually, I have to get those on the side, and that's if they have sausage patties. Service was super friendly and as quick as they could be as they got busier. There wasn't a lack of energy on behalf of the servers for sure because they were moving! This place is now on my regular breakfast joints when I'm in that area. read more

I very rarely write reviews but I couldn't pass this one up . The food was very excellent . The service was amazing and the place is immaculate I ordered French toast for breakfast. I took a couple of bites and realized I forgot to ask for sourdough bread. I asked the server if it was sourdough bread and she said no but asked me if that's what I wanted. She said it would be no trouble to exchange the order. I never would have asked but as long as she offered I took her up on it. About 10 minutes later she came out with a plate of freshly made sourdough French toast. I was overwhelmed and left her a generous tip Also I used the bathroom and was so impressed with the cleanliness. One of the best omelets and waffles I've had in YEARS. The manager of this place deserves a big raise. The food extraordinary and the service amazing. Just read my reviews. It's extremely difficult to please me. But I will be thinking of the waffle here for a longggggggg time. Crispy on the outside soft in the middle. Absolutely to die for. The Palms Cafe is such a great spot for brunch. Super casual but delicious food and stellar service all around. If you haven't been you definitely need to add this spot to your list. The palms cafe is definitely unassuming and located in a strip mall there isn't much outright appealing to the eyes. I'm actually glad it's not that obvious as I can only imagine how busy it would get should it be more flashy. I hear that there is often a wait but we came on the weekend around 9:15 and were able to snag a table. Most of the restaurant was full though so on the weekends I would recommend coming on the earlier side to ensure you don't have to wait. The interior was very casual and no frills but comfortable. The tables, restrooms, and such were all clean - super important. The service here is fantastic. Our glasses were always filled and we felt checked up on a lot which was nice. I appreciate that they have staff on coffee duty and our waitress was lovely, very friendly and efficient. They took our order quickly and the food came out at a good pace. A+ for service. The food is simple breakfast - brunch - lunch vibes but all tasty home cooking tasting meals that will have you finishing your plate. My table went with classic breakfast staples, from pancakes to French toast to egg plates. The plates were good sized portions and the food was all around yummy. I had a egg and sausage plate that came with hash browns and a fluffy biscuit with sausage gravy. Everything was super tasty and comforting. While waiting for the waiter to take our orders, we were tuned to the television screens of sports highlights. Due to the community's makeup as a retirement haven, the vibe here felt like a gathering of senior citizens. What I ordered: BLUEBERRY PANCAKES (two stacks with a side of bacon, sausage, or a cup of fruit) - I ordered their famous and tastiest Blueberry Pancakes (and Banana-nut Pancakes) with real buttermilk. The pancakes were good, and the serving was filling. I like to eat with buttercream over syrup. I ended up choosing two strips of bacon for my side, and it was scrumptious with a hint of sweet and salty taste. The Palms Cafe is my favorite breakfast spot when we come to the desert, but we always go to the other location. This time we thought we would try this location just to change it up a bit. While it was busy, we were seated quickly, but we were placed in a booth that felt a little bit too crowded. The ambiance was typical for a busy restaurant on a weekend morning. I am not sure if it is the location, or if this is the same for The Palms locations in general, but this was not what we are used to. Our server was average, when in the past, the service at the other location is always great. The busser was super friendly and efficient though. I ordered what I always order, the Mexican Omelette and was surprised to see that the portion appeared much smaller than what it normally is. My hash browns were hard, dry, and overcooked. The server did not bring out my pancake until we reminded her that I was supposed to get one with my meal. I was pretty disappointed since this is a breakfast I always enjoy. Our server, I didn't catch her name, did not come by often, and although I could see her standing nearby, she never came by to pick up our check. Another server had to do it. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday work so we decided to spend the weekend out in the desert And the one thing we enjoy doing while in a new place is find new spots to eat. The ambiance here was like that of a family cafe which is usually where you get the best food. It was open and airy. I didn't want to stray to far off the usual path of sausage and eggs because the last few times, at different spots, I've been disappointed. So today I made up in my mind, I'm getting my go to breakfast! Sausage and eggs over easy with home fries. And a banana nut pancake. The home fries were a bit over cooked but still good. Wifey had the French Toast which is usually go to breakfast. She ordered sausage and it came with bacon, but they were so kind they brought he some sausage as well. I would say the ultimate highlight was the banana nut pancake! Sorry, I didn't get a picture because it was late coming out and by the time it did I was through eating and just decided to polish it off But it was well worth the wait! I was told that it was make from scratch. I would have to agree because it was not like your typical pancake! It was really delicious. It wasn't banana flavoring, it was chunks of banana in the pancake and nice size walnuts as well. So it you want a really good banana nut pancake (1). This is the business. I reserve my five-star ratings for a literal PERFECT experience. My first visit to the Palms Cafe this morning was amazing. There was plenty of seating available even though the place was busy. Our server was friendly and helpful, and got our entire order correct. The food arrived quickly (less than 5 minutes), and was cooked to perfection. The Belgian waffle was the best I have ever had, anywhere. It was crispy and fully cooked. The center was fluffy but not soggy. The has browns were also exactly what I expect when I order hash browns. Crispy, moist but not greasy, and served hot. In the past, most places I go to for breakfast serve hash browns that are dry, gooey, greasy, or in some cases - still frozen in places. The ambiance was nice with classic rock playing at a background volume, and everything was super clean. I will definitely return to The Palms Cafe very soon! read more

I always leave happy from Palms. I love that I can get lunch items early in the a.m, since I'm not really a breakfasty kind of person. I won't comment on the food since I don't really remember, but I do remember I really enjoyed it, and portions are always generous. I did ask for an espresso martini, and was told they'd never sold one there before. I asked if they had a machine and he said yes, then told me he'd find someone to make me a good one. And it was.
