Average experience. Our server was so friendly, and it's such a cute place, but the food was disappointing. I hardly ever order pancakes or waffles, but I opted for a Belgian waffle with strawberries and bacon on the side. The waffle was oily and had a weird flavor. I was expecting a thick, fluffy waffle. The strawberries were ok, bacon was good. The fries were really good, but that's to be expected at a diner-type establishment, in my opinion. My husband said his tuna sandwich was ok. For the price, I would not return.

Went to brunch at this place with family for the first time and the place was packed but we were able to get a table right away! The two different gentlemen that took our drink and food orders were really friendly and welcoming! The ambiance was casual and moderately loud due to how busy they were since they were packed for brunch! I ordered the chicken fried steak with country potatoes with shredded cheese on top! And man it was delicious and would definitely order it again and it's highly recommended! I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast or brunch and the overall experience was amazing!

We have visited The Palms Cafe and several occasions, and the food and service have always been excellent. The interior space is large, clean, and there are also tables available outside. Counter service is available as well. I also appreciate the fact that the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. Upon being seated, it is common for an employee to immediately ask for your drink order. On two occasions, the person seating us asked us for our drink order while walking us to the table. Regarding the food, it actually tastes good. It's not just filler breakfast food. The eggs are great as are the hash browns and French toast. Each table is equipped with all the necessary condiments, and the bottles and salt and pepper shakers are clean. Regarding the service, as indicated above, it is exceptional!

We came to the Palms for breakfast after day 1 of Coachella and it hit the spot! We were seated quickly despite it being super busy and the service was awesome. Everyone we interacted with was so nice. We ordered a ton of eggs, bacon, pancakes etc. The pancakes and OJ were the clear standouts but everything we had was good. This is a seriously good breakfast gem in Indio that you should definitely try!

Excellent for breakfast. One of our favorite places. Sane staff over the years says a lot about a place too.

My waffles were delish, but they could use a better branded syrup. Coffee was a big disappointment . Next time I'll pass or bring my own cup of coffee. My bacon was more fat than meat. Next time I'll swap for sausage. The hubbys chicken fried steak was delish. Friendly staff. Got busy real quick. I'll be returning.

Anyone in the area just has to go. This is the best place for breakfast. No need to discuss anything ...just the best all around

Got asked it being seated outside was fine, as it was pretty packed. It was a chilly morning but they had heaters, which didn't end up being an issue. I highly recommend the banana walnut pancake! I got it as a side to share with my husband but ended up eating most of it. We ordered the chilaquiles and the new york steak and eggs, which were both filling. The espresso martini was a bit creamy, which I would have personally loved a bolder espresso kick.

We always come here for Brunch. Saw today that they are now open for Dinner. Headed in and tried the new dinner menu. We had the Pasta Pomodoro and Chicken Parmigiana. Wonderful! La Quinta needs another dinner spot. Will come back and try the other new Dinner items.

We came Sunday morning! Got seated right away for a table of 5, the service was amazing. Constantly getting our drinks refilled, staff works amazing together. And the food was so good. 5/5 experience for me it checked all the boxes I look for when I go to a restaurant! Cute little restaurant in the corner.

Good food. Good Service. My wife and I ordered the blueberry pancakes with sausage and the ham and cheese omelette. Both were good. Standard breakfast fare.

A very yummy nice place,, machacha large plate enough for 2 portions, ice tea quality, service excellent, and ASK some things on a secret menu like avocado toast..... fresh squeezed OJ... reasonable pricing.

Good food - large portions. Small place - but cozy. Service was above okay, but not outstanding.

The whimsical atmosphere dances with charm, delicate pastries gleaming behind glass, the soft hum of conversation, and an elegance that somehow feels both refined and warmly inviting. The table service is nothing short of exceptional, with staff who make each guest feel like an honored friend lingering over brunch in a French countryside café. Every dish arrives beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor, from buttery pastries to savory delights that comfort the soul and delight the senses. And one delicious secret worth savoring; do not leave without trying the homemade raspberry confiture. Its rich, bright sweetness paired with fresh bread or pastries is pure magic the kind of taste that lingers long after the last bite and calls you back again soon.

I found a table for two, and quickly received by chai and beignet, both of which were quite yummy. My friends hibiscus iced tea and macaron order took longer for some reason. But she liked both and they gave a free refill on the iced tea, which is great! Looking forward to trying some main dishes there soon. The French fries look great, the salad portions were large, and their French onion soup is vegetarian, which makes me so excited to try it...in the winter! It would be a super cute spot for a Mother's Day brunch or really any occasion, but is pretty laid back and casual. They do have outdoor seating as well...which I also looking forward to trying out in the winter, ha.
