Decent food, poor service. Strike one, I found a hair in the food. They replaced it but didn't offer to discount or comp it. We weren't asses about it, very polite. You know what, it's fair we did eat the meal so I didn't push but as a customer you feel nice about small gestures is all. Strike two, I asked for my coffee to go. Gave me a to go cup and expected me to pour my left over into it. Seriously? Even ihop will bring me a full cup of fresh coffee in this situation (I ihop a lot). Strike three, can we please get some basic checkups for coffee/water refills? Food: I had the crab island omlette. It wasn't bad. My wife had the banana foster and it was on the dry side. We asked for more sauce to compensate, it helped a bit but she was disappointed overall. Kids go basic pancakes with chocolate chips and those were fine. Food looked really good visually. For some reason my pics didn't save to yelp and I deleted them but you can see there are pics-aplenty on yelp. Verdict: Leave aside the hair and coffee thing and based on the food it was a 3 star kind of experience but the first two things did happen so sadly 2 stars :( read more

The yelp location is wrong for the business. It's on the wrong side of the street. There are only 12 four person tables and booths here, and six stools at the bar. That explains why it fills up so rapidly in the morning, and has an hour wait anytime 8 AM or later. Especially if there's a party more than four colon there are only two round tables that could accommodate as many as six. In June 2021 as I write this review, they also do not do TO GO orders. So it's a difficult place to eat at. The pancakes are certainly large and good to eat. I wouldn't say they are worth the great effort needed to get inside to eat: you can get as good elsewhere. read more

No pictures! We gobbled up our tasty breakfast too quickly! My husband ordered banana Foster's crepes and amazingly he claimed they were not too sweet. I ordered the silver dollar pancakes. There is nothing bad I can say except for the pricing structure. There was no offer for just a simple eggs, pancake, and meat combo. I had the veggie omelet that came with pancakes. The omelet was the largest I have ever seen. Stuffed inside and out with my choice of cheese added. I'm going to ask how many eggs weee used because it must be at least 6. AMAZING I got the fresh strawberry and nutella crepes and they were amazing. I just had the best breakfast of my life. I'm not usually a breakfast person but this morning i was. Actually checked YELP to see about a local place to grab breakfast and found this place. I would have never noticed it going down the road since it was in a little strip store area. The staff was super nice and the menu was large. I decided on a berry pancakes. We were visiting with a family member who lived down there so I didn't grab photos but this pancake is GIANT. Went here twice with my friend, first time we were with a larger party, great service everything was so fast. The second time it was me and one other person, we were put up at the bar and that was fantastic. All of the staff was so nice and attentive to each and every customer. The Pancakery also had fun drinks that looked delicious, couldn't get them because were broke... overall delicious. Will be returning there next time I go down to Destin. Made a mark on my vacation. If you're looking for a good breakfast this is the place to go! The service was great. Reminded me of a home town diner. I added a caramel frappe before I left (not pictured) it was delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and yummy. The sausage was classic breakfast sausage. My husband had the bana foster French toast, let's just say his plate was so clean when he finished it looked like it was ran through the dish washer. It a large omelette, they didn't say how many eggs, but if I had to guess I would say at least a 5-6 egg, and it was very good, but be ready for the portion. The reason it stays so busy is because there is limited seating. My son and I have been wanting to come here for awhile! Since it's a slower season we set out to come have breakfast only to be very disappointed. First our server rushed us to order, by the time we sat down she was at our table asking us for drinks. We ordered two hot chocolates which where good - but didn't even walk away to grab them before asking us what we wanted to order food wise. We had just sat down 2 minutes prior. I said I wasn't sure, she seems frustrated but leaves to get our drinks. I felt a hurry to order so got the classic pancakes with a side of hashbrowns and sausage. We waited for our food and as she put it down she was already walking away. The kids French toasts where very well made according to my 9 year old but the pancakes where very dry, the hash browns tasted like there was soap in them, and within 5 min. Of putting our food on the table the check was in our face making us feel like we weren't welcome to stay and enjoy ourselves. Our waitress never came to ask us how we liked our food or if there was anything more we would like to order. I went with the Mule which came with eggs, sausage, ham, grits, hash browns, toast and a pancake. I got to try literally everything with this option and it was all good. They even have breakfast cocktails but I passed on that. The place was packed but they turn over tables quickly so the wait isn't long and they have outside seating.
