    Pastrami - Yum!
    Michelle F.

Tasty sandwiches! I've had the Zesty Italian & the Pastrami. Think the Pastrami is my fav so far. Employees are quick, kind and clean. Great service, minimal wait time. It's been great having them at Swedish Issaquah throughout the summer!

I had The Panini Truck a few weeks ago when they were at Barnes & Noble in downtown Bellevue. I went with a group of people and a couple got the Zesty Italiano (pepperoni, prosciutto, provolone, pepperoncini peppers and marinara), and I got the special - a "Cuban B" (roast porchetta, black forest ham, dill pickles, swiss cheese, mayo, spicy brown mustard, on "Giuseppe bread). I really enjoyed mine, even though it didn't hit the normally bright, mustardy/pickley notes of a good Cubano. It was just different - richer, more buttery. The others raved about the Italiano, especially the pepperoncini peppers. Sandwiches were $9, which... for food trucks is reasonably priced. For Bellevue lunch, it's really well priced. For a panini in general, it's a little overpriced, but I can't complain too much. They also sold tomato soup, salads, chips, soda, and sparkling water. Oddly, they don't have Twitter... and their website locations section hasn't been updated since April... So, who knows what's going on with them. Overall, a great truck and I hope it returns regularly!

Their Food Truck...about to try their Pastrami Panini for the first time.

First time try their Pastrami Sandwich and it was very delicious. I enjoyed the crunchiness of the bread and the good amount flavor from the inside. The sauce was very good and it blended well with the Pastrami and sauerkraut. One thing is to never overload with one ingredient cus that is all you will taste in your meal. Then again I'm no expert, but I've notice from other Food truck tend to do this. However this sandwich you can taste everything. Well done guys and I will definitely be coming back.

Pretty good sandwich for what it is. Appreciate how compact it was, there wasn't much meat or sauce spilling everywhere. Chicken could use some more spice/flavor though. Only gripe is they've increased their prices 30% since 2018 while inflation has been 17% since then. $15 before tip for a sandwich, chips, and a soup isn't bad though.

3 1/2 stars. I had the pesto turkey panini. I would say it was pretty good! It had a nice crunch on the outside and the flavors of the turkey, cheese, pesto and tomatoes mixed well. It wasn't mind blowing by any means and it was a little pricy for what you get, but if you craving a sandwich and this is in the area it is worth a try. I think I will try something else next time, if I see this truck in the area.

Zesty Italian Panini - Crunchy and Delish!

I always order the Zesty Italiano and every time it's delicious! The panini has the perfect amount of crunch and the toppings are evenly spread. The people running the truck are nice and quick, even in a rush. Great place for a quality sandwich!

This place will take 30 minutes to make a burnt panini that anyone could have made at home, and sell it for $12-13.

I don't often get any Mexican food on the Eastside since I just haven't found a good one yet. And sadly, I have to admit that I still have not found any worth the drive across the lake. Taste wise it was as a Yelp 3 Star describes, "OK". I've had a lot of Mexican food across the whole West Coast, and this one isn't any special. But of course I will have to try again another day.

I haven't had a ton of horchata but I thought it was delicious. It was a balanced sweet and spiced, 5/5. I could see it being a little too sweet for some people but I personally loved it The godfather burrito wasn't anything too special, but the ingredients all felt high quality, 3.5/5 I love a chunky guacamole and this was quite smooth. I feel like small ones are hard to perfect but this was so crispy on the exterior, not overly oily, perfectly sweetened and balanced by the nuttiness of the sesame seeds. The shu mai was also top tier as it was packed with so much pork and shrimp, no fillers detected like flour or anything! So juicy and flavorful and paired excellent with the Lao gan ma-like chili oil they provided. I hope they come to farmer markets closer to Seattle!

The steamed bun was alright, the bun itself was a little boring; I'm used to fluffier buns with a tiny hint of sweetness to the buns. The spicy beef filling wasn't too bad. The beef was a dollar more than the other fillings. The Chicken Karaage were 5 pieces for $10, and we got more than 5, because they were random sizes, and some were really small. (Oftentimes, publishers loop Indian and Pakistani cuisine into the same category.) Before we get into the food, I must praise their fully covered seating area that houses five tables. Even in the rain and wind, you can enjoy your meal in a completely sheltered space! Any Washingtonian knows how important this is, especially during the wet months. Three of us arrived for lunch around noon and it was surprisingly quiet. No one else was by the truck nor at the neighboring Tikka Masala restaurant. One employee manned the truck, graciously welcomed us and we chatted with him briefly about the menu. He informed us of the most popular items and mentioned his favorite, "The Boti To My Roti" (chicken wrap). I was so close to ordering the "A Bihari Affair" (beef wrap), but when he said that was too spicy for him, that told me all I needed to hear. I wasn't going to take any chances, haha. Our order took about 20 minutes to prepare, which is pretty long considering we were the only customers. However, I had read about the wait times in other reviews and the one guy was cooking everything by himself, so I didn't mind hanging out for a bit. + BOTI TO MY ROTI ($12.95): Pieces of marinated chicken and slices of pickled onion rolled up in a roti flatbread. The chicken was lean and super tender, with a slight smoky flavor, and covered in what seemed to be a garlicky yogurt sauce with Indian spices. It had a mild spice and I liked the slight tartness from the onion. The roti was light and was a great vessel for the saucy filling. + CHIPAS ($5.95): This side of fries was deliciously seasoned and drizzled in a garlic mayo. They were hot and crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. + EK DUM KARAK ($3.85): A piping hot cup of chai tea served with a biscuit. This was such a comforting drink on a cold day. The menu stated it's extra strong, which I didn't quite notice while drinking, but I did feel a little jittery later in the day. The biscuit was like a lighter and crispier version of a biscotti and nice to dip in the chai. Their menu also features various types of burgers and I hear they also serve a weekend brunch. My main qualm is just that the pricing is on the steeper side for their burgers and wraps, which are at least $12.95 each. All together, three of us got two rotis, one burger, one side of fries and two chai teas, totaling $53! My roti wrap was enough for me, but I think the average person would still be hungry after eating only that. Pakistani eateries are not abundant at all on the Eastside, so I'd still recommend giving Lari Adda a try if you're looking for something new and unique.

They did start to run out of items on the menu, and I happened to get their last Crispy Garlic Chicken. I felt like it was a good portion, and it came out nice and hot. A cold, rainy January day and Thai food in my car? Yes please!…read more That's exactly where I found myself a couple of weeks ago in Bellevue and I'm not mad about it AT ALL. I'd seen Baitong's Instagram announcement that they opened a new food truck at the AM/PM on 116th and just knew I had to get over there as soon as possible. I arrived a little before the lunch hour and was enthralled with their menu of tempting Thai treats. But as soon as I saw the Crispy Garlic Chicken I knew I had to try it. I waited a few minutes until its hot deliciousness was ready, then hopped in my car where the sweet, delicious smells of freshly fried chicken and garlic wafted through the air making me hangrier than I'd been in awhile. I tried sipping on their refreshing Thai iced coffee to keep the hunger pangs at bay, but eventually I had to pull over and dig in to the chicken. WOW was it good. Hot. Crispy. Sweet. Savory. Garlicky. All the things I love about Thai food. Twas a glorious lunch. I definitely have to go back, though. There were some seriously delish-looking choices on their menu. Thanks, Baitong, for a quick Bellevue lunch stop.
