After coming here several times, I have to update my review because this place has gotten even better! It is still pricey for a sandwich, but they load it up with toppings so I think it's worth it. They have lots of unique options, as well as a sandwich of the day at each location which is super fun! The service is great, sometimes a little slow but the food comes out piping hot and so fresh. The ambiance is very cute with a nostalgic feel and some seating both inside and outside. It has recently become my go to sandwich spot in the area!

Everyone loves good things that come in paper bags and right here is very much so one of those things that's just magical and no I'm not talking about the bag I'm talking about what comes inside the bag! We came here one morning and of all things got breakfast which was one of those times where I told myself I wish I would have gotten lunch instead! Don't get my wrong the yummy J Rock sandwich I had on that delicious sourdough bread that was packed with eggs cheese bacon and some sauce to set it all off with a delicious yummy vibe to hit the spot was awesomely good but those lunch sandwiches screamed out to me so much so that you know we will be back for a lunch visit at some point! Our breakfast sandwiches were definitely yummy and if that wasn't a reason enough to come back then I really don't even know why I'm saying anything as writing this is making me hungry for more so with that said I'll see you again at some point especially to play some of the random games inside while i wait!

Love love love the paper bag. Their sandwiches are out of this world. Staff are super friendly. They have outdoor tables where you can sit with your dog companions.

The food here is amazing. We found it from DDD with Guy Fieri. We have eaten at so many places in Gville and never knew this existed. I got the black hat and wife got the Cuban. The food was a 5/5 easy. I loved the flavors. Atmosphere is okay. Prices are fair. The wait was too long though because they were doing so many online orders.

Our daughter recommended this place so we popped in for lunch. Upon entering, the place looked very clean. Restaurant had a simple yet playful vibe to it. All the cooking and prep is done in front of you. I got the #11 Tre Way Jay. It had burnt pork ends which have a tendency to overpower with flavor. This was a nice blend of flavors. I half thought i would lick the paper it was wrapped in. My wife got the #24 Blue Lagoon Melt. Basically a warm tuna melt. She enjoyed each bite. Ended up taking half home because it was so filling. My sister in law got the #23 Puff the Magic Dragon Toast. This was a avacado toast with scrambled eggs on it. She opted for no egg. While she ate every bite of it but said next time she would try something else. The restaurant offered old board games for the customers to play while eating. We look forward to our next visit.

Looks like they will be on triple D

Cute counter order/quick serve place for some amazing sandwiches. My oldest daughter went with the Island of Capri. She really liked it and said it had tons of flavor. My youngest and I shared the Island of Capri and the Puff the Magic Dragon Toast since we could not decide between them. We both thought the toast was good, but we liked the Capri sandwich better with all the mozzarella on it. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the open kitchen made it nice to see the different sandwiches being made. You can see the fresh ingredients there while they are making the sandwiches. The tables are inside and outside, but outside on the side didn't have any cover over them so it could get hot while you are out there.

Nice mural in the dining room.

Same excellent food, in a modern spacious space. Table games and a Street Fighter 2 arcade cabinet feature in the space. Ample parking up in front.

Man, what a cool place. Board games and other quirks to enjoy while you wait for your delicious sandwich. I went here with four friends and we unanimously loved our sandwiches. Service was friendly and quick. We are visiting from out of town but will make sure to return on our next visit to Gainesville.

Decided to check this place out for brunch. We did to-go options like many others do as the place does not have too many dining seats available. First and foremost, the price is really reasonable for the sandwich you get, which I loved. Moreover, the sandwich was warm and juicy with perfectly balanced flavors. The fillings were generous as well I'll definitely be returning to try more of their menu--this spot is a hidden gem for anyone craving a high-quality, reasonably priced take out brunch!

Incredible! It's so amazing how a sandwich can be so much more than a simple sandwich. The pairings of the flavors are delectable, and I haven't tried a sandwich I didn't love! Today I finally had the opportunity to catch a lobster roll day and I'm speechless. This one came on ciabatta bread and it was packed with lobster meat in a creamy buttery goodness. My plan was to eat half now and half later, but it was just too good not to finish in one sitting! Saturday was pretty busy, but I still was able to order and get my food in about 20min! Everyone is so kind and the owner Richard always has the brightest smile on his face! Truly a gem in Gainesville!

My friend and I met after we parked our bikes. She was sitting outside, and as I was locking my bike, less than a block away, she texted me. I just walked to her without responding, and with a smile and a hug, we walked in to look at the menu. The sandwiches have some very creative names that go along with their creative construction. I got a #10, which was a fusion of French dip and Philly cheese!! I wanna buy the person a beer, whoever thought of that one! Even though it was busy, we didn't wait long to order. Every sandwich comes in a paper bag, so you can take it out or stay and munch. We got a combo with chips and a drink, because how else do you eat a big sandwich like this?! There are board games to play, decor that is not typical and a big display of Guy Fieri, from the Food Network, that lets you know this place is on America's culinary map. After the sandwiches were done, I brought them out to my friend Kimberly, who was saving our table. We both were hungry, so out of the wrap and in with the teeth. Mine was full of flavor and the fact that all the sandwiches are heat-pressed, made the texture very satisfying. The au jus was thick and delicious and made me think someone took great time and effort to make it. It is a casual restaurant, great for a date or a group of friends, or a solo quick lunch, that can also be a dinner as well. The food is somewhat pricey, but it delivers as a good meal with a creative touch. They could have emptied the garbage can more quickly, as it was more than overflowing, when I went to throw the garbage away. Memorable food, and makes me want to come back to try at least two other sandwiches that I read about.

I went mid-morning on a Saturday and it was a little busy, but we were still able to get seated pretty quickly. The place is a full-service restaurant, but they also have a counter where you can order muffins and other baked goods to go. Honestly, the muffins are the main reason I come here. We ordered the biscuits and gravy, which were really tasty, but the highlight was definitely the muffin. Our server suggested ordering one and having it grilled, which I had never tried before and it was so good. They slice it in half and cook it on the griddle so the outside gets caramelized and slightly crispy while the inside stays soft. It completely elevates the muffin and makes it feel more like a dessert than breakfast. Overall it's a great casual breakfast spot, and if you go, definitely get a muffin and have them grill it.

As it was summer break, a lot of the other businesses in the building were closed (Vietnamese and Italian restaurant as well as a boba place). The place looks like it was being run by a hardworking couple. We checked out the menu and my wife ordered the Gyro Platter and I ordered the Souvlaki Platter. We also ordered a couple of fountain drinks. The gyro meat was well seasoned and tender. The Greek salad was quite good. The chicken souvlaki, however, seemed to lack flavor and a bit dry. Portions were quite generous and the value was there. We actually packed our leftovers for some quesadillas later. If we do go back, I would order the gyro instead of the chicken souvlaki. Located in midtown, this appears to a fast casual place that caters towards college students. They serve "Greek" street food, salads, quesadillas, burgers, and more. The food is relatively inexpensive. Service is fine, actually the people working there are friendly. Food is made to order and comes out quickly. There is some seating available inside (it's limited) but there are plenty of tables in the hall. I ordered the Street Chicken Souvlaki which included grilled chicken with tomato, onion, fries inside a pita, topped with ketchup and mustard. This was a very large portion. The pita was good, but pretty much fell apart the second I picked it up. While I liked the chicken, it was over seasoned and I didn't care for the "sauced" quality of it. I'm not sure if they marinated it or tossed it in some sauce, but it was too much. The fries were decent, but not super crispy. I felt that they were not necessarily and a little over-the-top. The tomato was fresh and but the red onion slices were very thick. The mustard and ketchup didn't work with the seasonings on the chicken. The dish was just all over the place and I couldn't even finish half of it before I started feeling sick. I ordered a side of onion rings as well. This was a large order and the size was great. But these onion rings were over-battered and were fresh, but not crispy at all. I bit into one and ended up pulling out the whole onion rings. Not good. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience. The food was so heavy and overly salted I couldn't even eat half of it. I ended up giving it to a homeless person on the way out. The food left my stomach in shambles the rest of the day. Service is fine. But the food is not desirable. It is safe to say I will not be returning, which is unfortunate.

We walked in, checked out the menu and placed our orders after asking the woman behind the counter a couple of questions. My wife ordered their K.F.C. We also ordered Diet Coke (no Coke Zero) in a bottle and a La Croix drink in a can. No soda machine here. We were given a number to place on our table and waited for our meals...and waited...and waited some more. I think it must've been like 10-15 minutes before we were served our meals and we got there before the heavy lunch rush! We shrugged it off thinking, ooh, it's fresh out of the fryer and the chicken and fries will be piping hot. Nope! Our meals were warm but not hot. My wife liked the flavor of her KFC but didn't think Korean flavors really shined through. Having lived in Korea for a couple of years, I think she might have a good grip on Korean flavors. My angry bird was indeed angry! The spiciness level seemed like it was 7 or 8 out of 10. It was so spicy to me (and I love spicy food) that it had me sweating, with beads of sweat flowing down from my gleaming head. The spice level took away from the flavors. We really wanted to like this place but our experience made us think this might be a "one and done" thing for us. Lunch for 2 came out to just over $43 with tip.
