Long waits for shuttle from airport. Idiot driver or idiot dispatcher or both. They don't care.

This *is* the parking spot. I used to use AirPark, but they took ridiculously long to pick me up from baggage claim. All the while, other shuttles like The Parking Spot zipped on by, over and over... no AirPark in site So what's to love about The Parking Spot? This location is a bit closer to the airport, all spots are covered, you get a free USA Today at check-in, free chilled bottled water at exit, operates 24 hours and the shuttles run every 5-7 minutes. I didn't even have to call them when I picked up my bag - there were already two buses outside. And these pimped out buses have comfy leather seats, seat belts, and a flat screen TV. Wha? And it didn't smell like wet dog. Only downside is that they are pricier. I paid $29 for three days, where as I pay about that much for a full week at AirPark. But it's true, you definitely get what you pay for. read more

If you're looking for a place to park your car as you travel abroad this would be the place if your traveling from IAH. The few times I have used them I have had such an easy going experience. Why them - great experiences with the shuttles to and from IAH, prompt and courteous service. If you are flying out from IAH and you are driving this is the parking service I would recommend. Also while it does cost a little bit more I would recommend the covered parking if you are going to come here. read more

Friendly staff, but if you reserve parking and your flight is cancelled, they WILL NOT refund your money. We paid up front to reserve a parking spot as it was spring break. We waited 55 minutes for a shuttle to pick us up at terminal from Will Clayton 1 lot. Saw lots of shuttles for Will Clayton 2 and JFK lots. Talked with several drivers after waiting over 30 minutes asking if they could help us get someone from Will Clayton 1. Someone finally showed up after 55 minute wait. There were 2 other shuttles sitting at the Will Clayton 1 lot when we pulled in there. Sorry we disturbed them. Will not use them again. read more

Been waiting almost an hour. We've seen 6 other parking spot buses come through and they've all called and requested our bus for will Clayton and we are still here waiting. Yet the two other empty buses won't take us to our lot. Won't ever use parking spot again. It's now almost 1:30 AM and still no bus. The app has the shuttle just sitting in the parking lots. The parking situation and getting to the airport weren't a problem. Getting BACK was, there were lots of shuttles rotating, just not for this lot the "1 lot." But that's not my problem... My problem comes with how rude and disrespectful the elderly attendant was at the counter when I left. I had already prepaid on my credit card before I ever got there just to have the attendant argue me down that we can't pay online with a credit card. She wanted me to pay twice. Even after I showed her my receipt, she still wouldn't let me out and asked for my QR code, when I handed her my phone she huffed and rolled her eyes, just to swipe the QR code and the gate fly open. I don't know why it takes forever for them to pick up when we park at their facility!! This was my second time using thirr services at will Clayton. First time I parked at TPS2 and everything was great! They picked us fast both directions but today I used TPS1 facility and we had to wait 15 min when it was 98 F outside for a shuttle to pick us!! And we were nervous we won't be able to catch our flight on time! There were several buses around us and we waved at couple of them but it was odd that they didn't come to get us! We finally walked to the front offices and no one was there! Called support number and no one picked up. Never seen anything like this! I am not going to use any TPS service anymore because honestly they are not even cheaper than other ones at IAH with a lot better service! read more

This location is a little further away from IAH than the other parking locations available. The prices are also slightly lower as a result. Finding a shuttle bus to the airport was not an issue for us, but finding a shuttle bus back to the parking lot took about 30 mins (not ideal after a long flight). Parking spot has really lost their edge. They don't have enough buses running. There are long waits at the airport and extremely full buses. They are not properly spacing so their customers can feel comfortable during a pandemic. A customer should not have to wait for more than 45 minutes for a pickup. There was four JFK buses to one Will Clayton. They get an F for customer service. Not responsive and argumentative. read more

I'm hoping my previous experience with a bad driver, was an exception rather than the norm. After posting my 1-star review for a bad shuttle driver, I was contacted and offered a free coupon to give them another shot. I haven't tried using the coupon, but did go back for another trip (coupon hadn't arrived yet). This time around was much better. Both times the shuttle drivers were friendly and very helpful. Do not use the Will Clayton location. It seems convenient but they are completely unreliable particularly during the late afternoon hours. We waited over an hour upon our return. Only 3 busses came in that time. Stood breathing in diesel fuel with my family. We eventually got a cab to get to to our car! No apology. No explanation. Used to park at AirPark IAH but then I found they had closed down. So I was forced to find another that day. Bad idea trying to find a new lot right before Thanksgiving. I was already cutting it close to departure time and after being rejected by two other lots I went to Parking Spot. Others rejected me because I didn't make a reservation and wasn't a member! Thankfully this wasn't an issue here. They gave me a spot right away and after telling the shuttle driver I was running late they quickly dropped me off at the terminal even though the bus was empty. Ever since then I've only used them. Wait time at the terminal has been decent. Plus I call once I'm off the plane to make sure there's a shuttle on route. Drivers are all courteous and are more than willing to help you load you bags into your trunk. Plus if it's late at night they'll wait till you are in your car before driving off. I know prices here are higher compare to others but it's well worth it. Plus there are 15 - 25% off coupons floating around. You can find them on their website, in airline magazines, or in those ValuePak coupons lol. Plus if you are member (free) you can rack up points to use for free parking reservations. I used to park here all the time which I love but for the last couple of times I would get picked up at C then driver routes to A and B and then back to C. This essentially extended my return back home by almost another 20 to 30 mins. In my opinion, this was not worth all the rerouting. They use to group C and E together but now C is grouped with A and B. Disappointed in the service. read more

First off, this is not our normal "go to" parking lot at the AIRPORT, but since we did not have a reservation (must have for summer months-at BUSH airport), the Parking Spot was nice enough to allow us to park against their back fence. Although we paid the same price for covered parking 10.95-we were extremely grateful for saving us the stress and frustration from figuring out where to park. On September 4, 2022 at approximately 330 I went to pick up my parked car at the Will Clayton location and the rep at the front has the worst customer service ever there is no reason to roll your eyes smack your lips or talk about a customer behind their back when we are the ones paying for payroll and as large as Intercontinental Airport is it is so sad to see customer service like this from a well-known company like the parking spot and hopefully somebody can sit this person down and give them another source of training with customer service because I know I'm not the only one ticked off for trusting my car at a place like this next time I will be parking elsewhere read more

If you're going to use The Parking Spot at IAH, this is probably the location with the best value. It's not the cheapest, but the buses run pretty frequently and they have a huge lot. It's only covered parking and their canopies seem to be larger and thus cover more of your vehicle. They also have limited extra services, such as valet and car wash. A few things to note: They only offer the newspaper if you drop your car off in the mornings, their buses have vinyl seats, they have flat screens inside them, but no TV or movies, just rotating images, and drivers are sometimes anxious and nearly wreckless. At least you will get back and forth from the airport quickly though! read more

Make sure you sign up to become a member! Your reservation fees are automatically waived! Memberships are free and they send you a card. I typically use Park N Fly when I travel. During my last two trips, The Parking Spot on Will Clayton offered a better rate for covered parking so I decided to give them a try. After using them twice now, I'm pretty confident to say I like them! They're just as comparable to Park N Fly and their location is very convenient. (There's three lots nearby btw). Same process as any parking lots... upon arrival, you get your ticket for covered or uncovered parking and proceed to where the tenant tells you there's spots available. I usually travel early in the morning or late at night so the shuttles are ALWAYS available and on Standby to scoop me up when I'm ready. I've always had a pleasant shuttle driver who has been more than helpful. Overall, I feel that my car is safe and I always get my money's worth! Will continue to use The Parking spot as long as their prices stay low! Another tip: reserve your spot in advance online, especially for covered parking! These lots can fill up quick. Sometimes there are promos online that can also save you additional $$$. read more

I have had great experiences at several Parking Spot locations but my most recent one at Will Clayton prompted me to write. The folks here are always pleasant and helpful but one employee really went above and beyond. She was a slender African American lady whose name I did not catch, but she was very sweet. She took me to my car in a golf cart and waited with me while I spent nearly ten minutes searching for my keys. It was very cold outside. She was very kind and patient and affirming. She clearly saw I was embarassed and disoriented, and when I failed to find them, she drove me back to the Parking Spot office. Luckily I found them shortly afterward, but I will never forget her kindness. Thank you! read more

We have been satisfied customers of The Parking Spot on Will Clayton for several years and do not mind paying the premium to park there because the bus frequency, especially at very late and very early hours, is outstanding. Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience in early November. Up until last year, The Parking Spot had buses everywhere. In 2018, not so much. I am not sure what has happened, but it is very noticeable. Until this trip, we have never spent more than 5-7 minutes loading for a quick trip to the airport. Even with the last stop at Terminal A, we had always been to the terminal in less than 15 minutes. This time, we spent 13 minutes on a very slow and full load. We got to Terminal A about 24 minutes after boarding the bus. As usual, we were picked up by the bus right after we parked our car and we were the first patrons on this particular bus,,,,but we are used to the entire process from boarding to exiting the bus taking less than 15 minutes. We had an 11:30 p.m. return flight. This is where The Parking Spot usually stands out with much faster service than the other lots. We called when we got off the plane and were told a bus was in route. 15 minutes later, still no bus. Called again and talked to the same woman with a very thick accent....said the bus was at Terminal B and would be there any minute. 30 minutes of waiting and STILL NO BUS. Called again and got an apology and assured the bus was close. We were picked up after waiting 37 minutes....really irritated. Of course, the bus was completely full and a couple of guests had to stand. Told the driver we were frustrated with the wait and he told us that he was held up in traffic. We saw ZERO EVIDENCE of that as you would expect after midnight on a Saturday. We have used The Parking Spot for our last 8 flights, but we will be making a change the next time we park at the airport. I hope that upper level management can restore this facility to what it once was. read more

I've used this location several times over the past year for work and don't have any regrets. Check-in and out process with the Spot card is a breeze. The drivers are great. I did wait a while at the terminal last week. This was until I opened the Spot app to see if there were any buses in the neighborhood. Magically, a bus started to come right for me. The driver said that dispatch said that someone opened the app in my terminal - apparently meaning that they were waiting for a bus.....which was pretty cool! I wish I had opened the app about 20 minutes sooner lol. read more

Dropping car off was a breeze, getting picked up was almost impossible. I arrived at Terminal B, the app showed a pickup spot. There was a sign outside. After 20 minutes another company took pitty on me and ask what company had I been waiting for. Then was told they don't pick up at Terminal B, even though app says they do. Had to go to Terminal C and the people there had been waiting for 30 minutes and they were pissed. NEVER AGAIN. read more

This is a covered only Parking Spot location. It's fast and super convenient. You can reserve online and know exactly what it will cost. The staff are always upbeat and friendly, and drivers arrive quickly. The shuttle is clean and cool. Free water bottles when you leave which is a nice perk after traveling. We got a membership card for cheaper parking but we did it through my husband's work so it may or may not be the same for everyone. Either way the rate is great. read more
