The staff is usually friendly enough, but I've recently found myself waiting longer and longer for a shuttle to pick me up from the airport. Last Thursday night, I waited over 40 MINUTES for a shuttle to come. During that time, I saw numerous Preflight Parking and Park N Fly shuttles come by. I have been using The Parking Spot - Will Clayton for years. I highly recommend joining the frequent parking club they offer to earn free parking. Much like other reviews I have found myself waiting from time to time for a will clayton shuttle but not for the JFK shuttle they are frequent. Nonetheless I use the Will Clayton and just call before I actually get to the area because 9 out of 10 times they are not waiting like the other shuttle services. I used this location this weekend for a short trip. I made a reservation online 2 days before. If you sign up to become a member of the Spot Club, then the reservation fees are waived (~5 dollars). Check-in was easy - they found my reservation and pointed me to park in a specific spot. Once I gathered my things, the shuttle had pulled up to pick me up. The drive to the airport is relatively quick since this is the closest "spot" parking lot (vs. the Spot or the ParkingSpot at JFK). The card that they give you to indicate your parking space has very specific instructions on where to wait for the shuttles depending on which terminal you're at. I had just missed a shuttle when I got to the waiting area and I called their phone number telling them that I need to be picked up. Another shuttle came within 5-10 minutes of calling. I have been parking @ this location for 9+ years. Aug 3, 2018, I called for pick up from Terminal B. Watched driver pull into area. NEVER slowed down or stop. There were 3 ppl (including myself) standing outside. I immediately called again. 2nd driver did the SAME EXACT THING! I was LIVID!! was finally picked up by 3rd driver. It took approx 18mins to be picked up. I called and spoke with a SUPERVISOR. After arriving to facility, I spoke to that supervisor, who apologized and wanted to know my length of stay. I informed him, I had used spot club points for stay (1 day) he said points would be returned back to account. To date (August 15, 2018) POINTS NOT RETURNED. This is not the 1st time, service has been horrible. There are MANY parking providers who service Bush airport. I will venture out and find another one. Mark D was my shuttle driver and was very sweet. He gave me a card to identify which parking spot location my car was at and got us to our terminal quickly and safely. The young lady working the entrance gate was sweet as well and knew my terminal from my airline when i didn't and was very quick checking me in and directing me to my spot. read more

I've used this parking facility for years--very close to IAH. I'm glad to see it was reopened this summer after temporarily closing due to Covid. New Manager helped me with a lost ticket (for parking) as well as jump start after leaving my lights on for a week. Great service and very friendly. The bottled water is a nice perk! Horrible service. Been waiting over 30 mins for a shuttle! Called the office twice and was told that the driver is stuck in traffic at the entrance of the terminal...I find it interesting that every other shuttle is making its way by me...multiple times, but not that shuttle. Called the office a second time to ask how long, and the man with the middle eastern accent asks me "what do you want me to do?" Then hangs up. I'm still standing here...watching the 5th shuttle to the JFK location drive by me! This is freaking ridiculous! Never again! I've never had this experience with any other shuttle service! We had great drivers both going and coming back from our recent trip. Both drivers were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to talk to. The bus was waiting for us when we exited baggage claim in terminal B. There was only 1 additional passenger that we stopped to pick up at Terminal A. The location being the closest parking lot going to the terminal is a major reason we chose it in the first place. read more

We printed a coupon that had "The Parking Spot" in huge letters across the top. When we checked out, we were told it was only for The Spot down the street and that we couldn't use it. Since the Parking Spot owns both lots, it didn't make any sense to not honor the coupon. False advertising ! Never parking here again. read more

Warning! The management has decided not to pick up at terminals D or E, despite the fact that some United flights get rerouted to E. So I ended up paying $13 to Lyft to take me to the lot and I am not a happy camper. read more

Houston we have a problem! This poorly run business no longer cares about the customers. I have been a customer for over a decade but the last few times have been terrible experiences. We waited with 20 other people for 22 minutes watching all of the other parking buses come and go taking passengers continuously. When the bus finally came they jammed 20-25 people on the same bus breaking every COVID rule. I will be reporting them to the city of houston. read more

I have used Parking Spot for years at IAH. We flew in on Sunday, December 12, 2020 at approximately 7:30 pm. We got on the shuttle with about 7 other people and were easily able to spread out to social distance. We stopped two other times and by the time we headed to the parking lot there were 14 people including the driver on the bus. There was absolutely no way to social distance and we were literally shoulder to shoulder with the other passengers crammed in on the shuttle. Just want to let people know what to expect. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Made a reservation in advance, showed up to park, was told the lot was full. Manager was more than happy to come talk to me about it and waste my time while I'm trying to catch my flight. Basically, his response was sucks to be you but we have nothing for you. "Glitch" in their system overbooked. But, I was welcome to drive to the JFK lot where they had the valet parking available for twice the daily rate of my reservation. Convenient for them. I had no other choice because I needed to catch my flight which had been bumped up to an earlier time due to a change in flight plans. I was forced to park in the JFK lot and pay the outrageous prices of valet. These guys are jerks. Avoid at all costs. I will NEVER park at any of their locations again. Total scam. read more

I made a reservation for a covered spot a few weeks before my flight. The day of my flight, I get there, and the attendant tells me the lot is completely full. She tells me the manager is in the center aisle directing people where to park in the aisle and that I can go talk to him. I drive down and talk to him. He says it's full, even though I had a reservation. I asked him what's the point of the reservation, and he just said "I don't know, but we're full". Thanks, that answer helps. He said that I can park my car in the aisle, leave my keys with them, and they'll move the car when spots open up. Ha! I wouldn't trust them to touch my car, much less leave them my keys to let them drive it and whoever knows what else. They're lucky I didn't miss my flight. read more

I made my reservation on line a few weeks prior to my trip and when I arrived I used my card in the machine, the lady at the machine was very helpful and told me where to go to park. I found a spot large enough for my truck. Upon my arrival the staff was waiting to pick my up and promptly whisked my away. I used my military discount, and left with a cold bottle of water!! I have parked here numerous times during trips traveling out of IAH. In this review, I will first share my location-specific thoughts, followed by more general "Pro Tips" that could be applied to any Parking Spot location to maximize the value you get from your experience. Location - Of the 3 locations of the Parking Spot at IAH (including The Spot on Will Clayton closer to I-59), this one is my favorite given its close proximity to the terminals (read: shorter shuttle ride) and availability of covered parking (protection from Houston heat + hail!). The occasions for which I'll opt to park at The Spot location that's further from the terminals is when (1) I have some extra time to spare before my flight, (2) I'm traveling for more days than usual, and/or (3) I don't mind uncovered parking -- the overarching benefit being that The Spot has a cheaper daily parking rate (save $$, yay!). Price - Parking at this lot can cost as low as $6/day! This is *incredible* to me compared to the rate at The Parking Spot in Los Angeles, which is over $20/day!!! What prohibitive madness (in LA)! So Houstonians, please enjoy the cheap parking in this city!! Given the multiple locations and solid rewards program, I've stuck with the Parking Spot despite experimenting with other parking companies that are sometimes slightly cheaper per day. Last year for Memorial Day weekend, I didn't reserve a spot early enough before the Parking Spot lots were ALL filled, so I parked elsewhere (that was actually cheaper!), and I've given all the companies a try before sticking with this one. The other companies (e.g. Rocket Parking) are provide pretty comparable service and are sometimes even cheaper, but the loyalty program + free water bottles (it's the little things) + newspaper (speaking of which, I haven't been offered a USA Today in a while - what's up with that, Parking Spot???) + national network have kept me parking at the Parking Spot. Pro Tips [can apply to all Parking Spot locations]: (1) When to make a reservation (besides when you're just being an over-achiever): --- For parking during holiday weekends. The lot actually gets filled with reservations, so you can be turned away if you don't have one. All other "normal" weekends are usually fine to show up without a reservation. --- To use your Executive Club points. You cannot redeem these on site. Instead, create a reservation online and pay for your parking in advance using the points. (2) Get an Executive Club card (through your employer, if available) and use it to check in and out of the parking lot instead of taking a ticket at the entrance. Your discount will be automatically applied to your bill when you check out using the card and you will automatically accrue Executive Club points! These actually add up pretty quick and you get redeem them for free parking!! read more

I love the Parking Spot! It is right off 59 and located pretty close to the terminals. All of the parking is covered and there are ample buses that run every few minutes. It is a little pricier than some of the other lots, but I like the fact that the spots are covered and the buses are frequent. You also get a free bottle of water when you exit. Already seen many "Park N Fly", "Pre-flight parking" drove by, even the shuttle to the other two locations of the parking spot. I'm still waiting. Hope it won't take too long. So flying out of IAH and needed to park for the first time. Usually I just get a ride or taxi. The drivers at The Parking Spot were amazing and kind and patient. Flying for the first time with an infant and that can be stressful. They were so nice and helpful, even when I realized I forgot a bag and had to go back to the lot! (Definitely a reason to get to the airport a little early!) Anyways, love the covered parking option. And the prices are reasonable!
