I went to the parking spot west on 6/2 around 5:45 am. I missed the freeway exit and maps took me into a side exit that was for shuttles only. That's my fault. A shuttle driver (I believe her name was Mary) basically verbally assaulted me for this. I drove around to the front and showed the front gate my ticket. The woman at the gate scanned it and let me in without an issue, saying it was no problem at all. In fact, I bet that happens a lot. However, the shuttle driver tried to block my car from driving to the front like a cop. She was screaming at me and tried to make me turn around and get back on the freeway. And then when I parked my car, she picked someone up right next to me but left me (single passenger, 1 bag) standing in the lot. I had to wait about 20 mins for the next shuttle. With Park & Zoom being faster, and more accommodating I can't imagine why I'd park here again after being treated that way. read more

We have used PSW many times, and it is always a great experience. The online reservation system is a breeze to use, and they do run discount specials on occasion. Drivers are always friendly and will assist you with loading your bags into your vehicle upon returning. I did have a minor issue with them, and their customer service team responded immediately and provided a resolution and some freebies. They also offer hand washes, detailing, and I believe oil changes. I do wish they would upgrade their vehicles as they are pretty tired. Other than that always a great experience. read more

The best and most.convenient way to utilize this valuable service is by utilizing their app and making a parking reservation to guarantee a parking spot. If not, you might find yourself driving to their East lot and find out that is also full. We are repeat patrons for several years of travel and have had all positive experiences. I would like to point out though that the entrance can be easily missed so better signage and well-marked lane lines would make this so much better. Really do appreciate the friendly and fast shuttle services, which are easy to find at the airport. Remember to tip your drivers out there! First time to park here. We arrive and QR scanner wasn't working so got a paper QR code from a person standing at entrance. At departure no one was at the gate booth to accept the paper QR, so we had to drive to office, go in ask for help, then go back to booth, then we had to wait in line while gate attendant spent 8 minutes talking and chatting with a driver. as others have said, the frequency of shuttles has become pitiful. fast park outran these guys 4 to 1. the owners got lazy or greedy or both. even on my ride, after waiting longer than even the official airport shuttle, they were confused where their shuttles were and would complain of 'full boxes' and long waits. going past the parking lot there were plenty of unmanned busses, clearly a staffing decision. i know these were UT MBAs that started this business and i have respect for hook-em, but they got outgunned big time. Here's the skinny from a long time customer... Entrance off 71 is scary. Especially on exit. TxDOT is doing them no favors. Customer service seems uncoordinated at best post covid. Meaning it doesn't seem like they communicate with each other very well or that the company in general is struggling and not putting the time and attention to customer care like they used to. I tried PSE and they're more "normal" like everyone else. But PSE is less convenient for me. Their busses have got to be the oldest and rickitiest of anyone. PSE have much nicer shuttle busses with functioning air conditioning. This is more exacerbated by... The roads to the airport from this location have got to be three bumpiest probably from all the tractor trailer traffic off Amazon, FedEx and others. Their parking covers need to be modernized and offer more coverage. They are the worst parking lot at having shuttles available on return journeys. I've waited 30+ minutes multiple times while even seeing 3 or 4PSE busses pick up passengers. Let me repeat, direct access to hwy 71 is SCARY... Why do I continue using their lot? ? They are the only lot with diagonal parking and wide enough spots to get in and out of my Ram truck. That's it. Before Covid, they were great, but since then, everything else about them sucks. I park here a few times a week (aka I spend LOTS of money here). For the most part it is reliable. A couple times I have had to wait 20+ minutes for a shuttle after parking my car. Also, if you come back at night from the airport, just expect everyone and their mom to be waiting for the shuttle. It will be crowded and you will probably not get a seat. Today I had a very weird experience with a driver "Ron A" at East parking lot. He got upset that I parked in a different row than told. I understand they have a system but the only spots available had a metal pole next to the drivers side, making it hard to get in and out of your vehicle. So I parked in a spot directly in front of row K that I was told to go to. Do NOT get the detail service here. For matters of convenience, I bought the "complete detail" along with my parking. I keep my car clean so it really just needed a detail - that is not what happened. When I picked up my vehicle, all of the little nooks and crannies you expect to be addressed by a detail were still dusty/debris filled. The entire interior was covered in overspray of something like Armor-All. Not wiped down, as you could see the spray patterns. As a result, the seats, buttons, handles, steering wheel, pedals and windows were all varying degrees of oily, sticky, or slippery. The products they use don't smell great, either. All in all, it ended up creating more work for me to clean the mess they left behind. Cleaning the inside of oily windshield in the dark is about as fun it sounds. As a parking service, it's great. The drivers/attendants are friendly and helpful. I may use them again for parking. read more

I've been using the parking spot since they opened. Initially, they were a less expensive alternative to parking in the long term airport parking. Recently, I parked there for four nights for the Thanksgiving week. I didn't get a car wash. I didn't use valet. I self parked my car and waited a very long time for a bus to pick me up to take me to the airport. With my AAA 10% discount it cost me $162.38. Their parking rates have gone up to $30 a night ($27 with the AAA Discount). and the airport fees are over $27. The last time I went home for Thanksgiving was 2019. Their rates were $12.60 a day. When their rates were $12.60 a day, they had an attendant at the entrance telling you where to park to ensure quick pickup. They also had attendants manning the booths as you left. This time, there were no humans other than the driver of the bus. Scanning their code was cumbersome at best. It took me several times for the reader to pick up my information. Not sure how they can warrant nearly 150% increase in parking costs with less people working there. I'm done with the parking spot. Those prices are insane. read more

We picked up the car and it wasn't washed but then realized WE made a mistake by not leaving our car keys with them after arriving. John (the Manager) made it very easy and refunded the money immediately and this was after we left the gate. Great price and will definitely use again! I arrived for a one week trip and the machines were down. They had to print an ad hoc QR code with zero pricing info on it, the pricing WAS NOT POSTED ANWHERE. The attendant said the pricing would be "normal" when I asked, I took him at his word - this is the part where I failed - I should have demanded something in writing, but we you know, we trust businesses to a fault sometimes. It was $336 upon leaving 7 days later - is that normal!? When I left, the guy checking me out was apologetic and said he felt terrible and that he felt like it was price gouging but he had no authority. After a few years of fairly solid service, I had an experience at The Parking Spot (West) in Austin this morning that's one for the ages. At 5:00am this morning, it took me over 45 minutes to wait for a shuttle and finally get to the airport. Apparently they only had a single driver on staff this morning--which is odd when the 5-6am hours are very front-loaded with travelers on early flights. Several of us were standing and waiting for the shuttle to make its return trip to pick us up. Driver finally arrived, picked up four or five people in the row before us, and then *actually left again for the airport.* (Note: you can squeeze 13 people onto these shuttles if you're really trying.) I immediately went to the front gate attendant and diplomatically expressed my frustration. She was actually combative with me, saying that he was full (he definitely wasn't) and that the shuttle couldn't carry more than 10 passengers (there were 12 on my trip when the shuttle finally came back). I don't know who's in charge of quality control at this place, but this morning was a total clusterf***. If you have a narrow margin for error in making your flight for any reason, don't choose this place. read more

I am to find parking and the shuttle driver picks me up shortly after I park my car! I really like how close The Parking Spot is to the airport. The rates are affordable for me. The shuttle drivers are nice and most of them help me with my luggage. The last time that I used The Parking Spot I had a dilemma. I lost my debit card while on vacation and I had no cash on me. Thankfully Chad the Assistant Manager and Jose (I believe Assistant Manager) were understanding and came up with a solution where I was able to pay my balance so I can exit the premises! This was my first time parking at The Parking Spot. The parking was great. No problems there but I paid for the ultimate detail package for my car while I was away. It was $124. The outside of my car looked great but the inside was another story. Do not pay for this extra. They only vacuumed the carpets and put all of my things in my car in a plastic bag. These photos show how my car looked right after I got into into it after my flight. Also I asked them to not clean my trunk or open it. I wrote a note on the envelope they gave me with my keys. Guess what? They got into my trunk. I had things in there I just couldn't move out of my trunk in time before my trip and they had been dug through. I had a costume jewelry ring I was going to return buried under my things in the trunk that looked expensive and it was in the bag with the receipt. When I got back the receipt was still in the bag but not the ring. Sitting at my gate at the airport before I left Austin I read some bad reviews for the detailing so I called the Parking Spot to tell the employees I changed my mind and didn't want anyone inside my car. The guy reassured me that they would take good care of my car and that they were honest and would treat my car like their own. Super unhappy about this whole ordeal. I haven't called them to get my car cleaning money back because either way I was going to write this review. I always park at the Parking Spot when I fly out of Austin. I love how I do not have to wait long for a shuttle and that I get dropped off right at my car after a long flight. The drivers are always friendly. The lots are secure. I do not worry about my car. The cost can be much cheaper than an Uber and if you want you can even have your car washed and detailed while you are gone. It is much better to not have to ask to be dropped at the airport. Interior Detail & Park :I parked here for over 7 days and was sold on getting my car detailed. Big mistake. Long story short they did nothing, as in absolutely nothing at all to wash my car.
