I really wanted to like this place! How can you beat homemade noodles right? Even though the…read morewaitress was friendly, our party of seven waited 35 minutes to get our orders. The noodles themselves are good and clearly fresh. $8.00 for a regular portion and $11 for a large serving. The protein add-ons, which had a $3 up-charge, were unfortunately lacking. My husband received three bites of sausage. I ordered the salmon for my protein. There was less than two tablespoons of smoked salmon. My Mom got chicken, which comprised three bite sized pieces. It felt like they were running out of food. The sauces were just okay from a flavor perspective. I had a vegetarian tomato which honestly could have used more salt, garlic, basil and oregano. My husband said his beef sauce was also lacking in flavor. All of the tables were full of customers. And even though the space is small, it would have accommodated a few more tables, which would have immediately benefited the restaurant. While we were there we overheard the waitress explain the wait time and transition some customers to "to go orders." The waitress kept our drinks re-filled and comped us two creme brûlée's for the table (it was my husbands birthday). But my father-in-law was disappointed they were out of the lemon tart as well as the chocolate mousse, both of which we're still listed on the dessert board. Sad face. We were told they would get their dessert order tomorrow. They were charging $6 for frozen desserts they were mostly out of- (not impressed). We suggest the management get a license to sell wine, as that would have been a nice addition to the meal. We support local businesses and we really want this business to succeed, but they need to fine tune their pricing/portion sizes, i.e. if the tiny amount of protein just came with the $8 or $11 pasta dish instead of being up charged I would have been more satisfied.

It's hard to bust heir chops in the first week of being open. This is definitely not a franchise. But a small local business starting up. It takes time to improve the establishment and perfect the choices. Was able to review the pre-opening menu. And the menu was changed islightly to add clarity. I spoke with the executive chef prior to opening He stated that all pasta and sauce is made fresh in-house every day. Cost - start with the $6 or $8 bowl of pasta, gluten free is available . Add protein (5 choices)for 2-3 dollars. A meal for one will run from $8-$12. A salad will set you back $8 They don't have Hours posted so i asked and posted it to yelp They opened March 13 or 14. I came in for Monday lunch with a Latino friend of mine. The pasta of the day is fettuccine or gluten free. Being home made, only one type of pasta is made daily. We ordered a large creamy bacon with Italian sausage and my friend the small portion of creamy four cheese Being new, I asked if they had a way of providing a small sample of each of the sauces and the waitress said they were already portioned out for large or small sizes. Asked for a sample of the Asian curry and the cook was quite vocal and annoyed about making a sample. It took almost 25 minutes from coming in to getting our food. Mind you, no one else was in the restaurant. Because of the flooding in Nebraska and the city of Lincoln's water reduction mandate. Our meal was provided with the finest in plastic ware and disposable cups. That will change when the water conservation order ends. There was a noticeable size difference between regular and large. I am surprised that they don't have a child's portion. The proteins, chicken and Italian sausage were properly cooked without any significant seasoning. We were surprised that we got a sample of the creamy curry sauce. Given the cooks hissy about making a sample. (Your new, everyone wants a way to try your different sauces, make a sampler plate) As there are more than 19 different types of curry. This one is more of a mild yellow curry. No heat, not too much twang but quite flavorful definitely worth trying The creamy bacon was a bit pasty, at the end there wasn't a single spoonful of sauce to be had. The bacon was subtle and not overpowering. Occasionally there would be a tiny chunk of bacon. The creamy four cheese pasta was a again not saucy, but pasty. The cheeses seemed to be overpowered by Parmesan and a bit salty. There were some very flavorful shavings of cheese. Towards the bottom, the cheese got denser and as the other order not a bit of sauce left. The garlic bread served with the meal. It was quite good but a bit overpowering over the subtle flavors of the pasta. If you only have a half hour lunch, this is not the place for you. If you want fine dining with a glass or two of wine with your meal, this is not for you. This is definitely not a franchise. But a small local business starting up. It takes time to improve the establishment and perfect the choices. Worth giving them a try. I'll be back in a few week

Right away we were greeted, my coat was taken and we were seated. We came pretty early in the evening and there weren't many people in the restaurant. I was disappointed to have been seated at a 4 person table in the middle of the room while there were plenty of smaller, two person tables more tucked away which would've offered a more intimate experience in my opinion. We started with the Burrata and M.D. Polenta. The burrata was as you'd expect but the Polenta was my favorite dish we ordered. It had so much flavor and basically melted in your mouth. It was even better to add it on top of the focaccia and burrata! For our main courses I ordered the Tajarin Dalla Forma. It was a fun experience to have them come to the table and spin the pasta in the cheese wheel but I wouldn't say the pasta was anything exceptional. Honestly, it tasted just like Annie's boxed white cheddar Mac and cheese. My boyfriend got the NY Strip (it was $83) and he said it was the chewiest steak he had ever had. It was cooked medium rare as he had requested but there was literally no explanation for how chewy it was. He makes better steaks at home on the stove top. The lobster tail I will say was the best lobster tail I've ever had. Overall, the service was great but the food wasn't worth the price you pay. If you're looking for a good steak, this isn't the place to go. I also disagree with friends and family, this isn't the best restaurant in town. Highly recommend DISH if you're wanting a high end dinning experience

This is a great spot to get delicious sandwiches on homemade bread which is delivered daily to the market from a baker in town. And the ladies behind the counter.. so friendly!! They made me want to move to Milford and get to know them better :) The market itself has so much to offer too. Kitchen staples galore. Lots of local jams, salsas and sauces as well as candles and soaps etc. I picked up a couple gifts while we were there. If it wasn't 150 degrees today we would've enjoyed our sandwiches outside where they have a bunch of Adirondacks and a picnic table. Next time!!

They have a great deli where you can also grab a fantastic sandwich when you need something ready to eat. They stock a lot of small batch jams and jellies and specialize in supporting smaller farms and producers. You can also snag toys, home decor and a huge wall of candies. I hit this shop up weekly for lunch or last minute staples I run out of. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The best way to describe it is, you know that shopping area in a Cracker Barrel that is supposed to feel like classic Americana but is just the same mass produced stuff from coast to coast? This is the real life version of that. Real products and tie in a great little grocery store. This is the real deal spot. You won't be disappointed! Try the Ball of Fire sandwich. It is my personal favorite.

So much to say... I'm visiting Omaha a few times a year and Semo has been on my list of restaurant…read moreto try for a couple of years and I'm so glad we finally got to try it. We were welcomed by Paris who would be our waitress for the evening. She's very personable and you can count on her for recommandations. A little glas of sparkling wine as a palet cleanser and to put you in the mood and we were ready to order. We decided to share an order of bread and butter and the radish crudites. Both really it the spot. The bread we prefered was the challah and the whipped ricotta that comes with the radish is so good. We also had some Count of Monte Cosmo cocktails After Paris recommended it I went for Campanelle with pistachio pesto and my husband chose the halibut. I love pasta and you can definitely tell those are made from scratch. The pesto was very good not too oily and very flavorful. The fish was cooked to perfection, crispy crust on one side, melty on the other side and it made a perfect combination. It is served on a bed of lentil hummus with fennel and radishes that adds some earthiness and blends really well with the fish. We shared the birthday cake for dessert topped with cake batter ice cream and sprinkles. The cake is made from scratch (and gluten free) and it's to die for. My husband is all about ice cream and with this dessert he couldn't care less. The cake stole the show. We had a little chat with the bartender (I'm so sorry I should have asked for your name) after having hesitated between the Sumocello and Clemencello (both homemade) and she recommanded the Sumocello. Based on smell it's a winner. It just smells so good and it tastes as good as it smells. The service was outstanding. The food speaks for itself but having waiting staff that cares and shares is a huge plus to me (being european). We had such a great evening. We enjoyed the food, we enjoyed the atmosphere, we enjoyed the people, we enjoyed ourselves... We're moving to Omaha early next year and Semo will definitely be part of our rotation but I'm sure it will become our favorite restaurant in the area. Thank you so much to all members of the team. You're doing a wonderful job and deserve the credit.
