Really disappointed with my visit. Service was disorganized and inattentive -- we had to ask twice for drinks, lemons never arrived, plates sat uncleared, and my steak came out overcooked. They were also out of the bacon-wrapped scallops we came specifically to try. But the worst part? The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. There was used toilet paper with feces on it facing up in the stall -- completely unacceptable and made me question the hygiene standards of the entire place. This was not worth the money or the time. I hope management steps up and makes serious improvements. I won't be returning unless I hear things have changed. read more

Place has potential. The restaurant itself looks pricey and the wait staff very professional. The wood walls and bar look very nice. The Shrimp Boil, fried oysters, and Oysters Rockefeller were good but could use a bit more attention to seasoning. The oysters Rockefeller did try to get a smoke flavor but fell short on the size of the oysters. Fried shrimp and chicken were on the dry side. I also tried the ribeye. The ribeye 1/2" cut (?) was a bit on the chewy side and a little dry. Seafood gumbo did not impress me much. Visually, I could see it needed spices. I added some of the seafood boil sauce and it tasted better Corn on the Cobb was GREAT, so was the boiled crab legs were also GREAT! Lots of patrons on Sunday. Nice place and friendly staff. We went for lunch and encountered a $30 buffet, which they bring to you. The appetizers were good. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was mediocre. The Caesar salad was whimpy and had way too much dressing. The green bean side i asked for with my meal was just heated frozen green beans with absolutely no seasoning or flavor. I asked for butter and the server brought seasoned butter. She poured it over the green beans herself. Some of the fried shrimp was overcooked and was also cheap quality. However we never got our appetizers and then when they brought our steak and lobster it's was a very bad presentation no taste except pepper. And way over cooked. Tonight was my husband's birthday. He was traveling to Texas and I am here in California. He had told me he was going to treat himself to a steak dinner. I learned where he was going, so I called the restaurant and spoke to the nicest hostess, and ultimately his fantastic server, Itzel. I told them it was My husband's birthday and he was dining alone. I made arrangements to surprise him and paid his bill and asked his server to tell him that his wife wishes him a happy birthday. They went beyond the call of duty and even sent me a video of them singing happy birthday to him. A huge thank you to the whole staff for such a memorable evening for My husband. read more

When my daughter and I walked into this restaurant it gave us a high end welcoming feeling. The menu is exceptional and they give out warm bread in the beginning... delicious warm garlic buttered bread. I wanted to start out with red wine and Robert Mondavi is the wine they provide - also a very good wine for seafood and steak. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received Saturday night 2-15-2025. My initial server was not friendly. It took 20-30 minutes to receive our drinks. He delivered some of our appetizers but failed to provide the utensils or drinks. I requested our utensils multiple times. I spoke with the manager, Cecilio Rodriguez, on three separate occasions. He did not appear apologetic or concerned about our situation. It took forty-five minutes to obtain paper towels, which I had requested multiple times. I had to retrieve our dessert myself by going to the kitchen. After discussing our issues with the manager again, he still did not offer an apology. I paid over $300 for subpar service. Upon checking my receipt. I realized I was charged a 15 percent tip fee even though the menu says they will only take a tip fee if it's more than six people in the table. So I doublettipped the bad waiter. I asked to speak to someone higher than the manager. He said it's only the owner, but he was unable to give me his information. The whole experience was very unpleasant. All the servers kept gossiping about the situation in front of me, which made it even words. I was not the only customer who was unsatisfied that night. Bacon wrapped scallops tasted like a pencil eraser, cat fish was blan and not even shaped like fish, gumbo was a weird paste with small dehydrated shrimp, and the steak was weak with no flavor. I took three people here for a business lunch and the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other across the table. Asked them to turn it down so we could talk and they did -- 15 minutes later. Snapper was okay but overcooked, and the shrimp were WAY salty. Crab cakes were the best part of the whole meal. None of the people with me were impressed with the food. Waited another 15 minutes for the check, which was $200 for four people (and there was no alcohol or desserts on the tab.) This place has changed. Very disappointed. Only offering us an all you can eat menu for $30 person. First each portion is small. Ordered fried shrimp, a salad and a baked potato. Got 4 shrimp after an hour of waiting. No sides came. 2 hours in and finally get my salad. Really. Baked potato never came and when I asked about they were out of potatoes. My 2 guests had very similar experiences. One got their asparagus after an hour of waiting and nothing else. Steak came after an hour and a half. This place was busy and staff were trying but kitchen obviously couldn't keep up. Manager was there holding up a wall not appearing to be very useful. Could have helped the staff! Prices seems fairly reasonable especially for the steaks, but we were craving some seafood instead. We just ordered 2lbs crawfish, one of the option A weekend special, and a salmon entree. The crawfish was pretty big, but definitely frozen prior. Lobster was good and cooked nicely, but again crab legs frozen. Both boils had ok flavor, but could be executed better. Definitely disappointed on the king salmon and scallops entree...way over cooked and the wine garlic sauce was very basic and just badly executed. The crab description with the entree were just shreds of excess meat like from a can or something. A legit seafood place would use lump crab meat. I sent this review directly to the restaurant: My wife and I moved to Texas a month ago. While leaving the shopping mall, we saw your restaurant and decided to have lunch there. Fast forward to tonight(11/04/2023). My wife and I were culminating a wonderful birthday day for my wife at your restaurant. Earlier this week I made reservations for us at 18:00 hours. We arrived at approximately 17:50 hours. There were approximately 15-18 people standing outside a inside your restaurant. Thank god I made reservations!! But, our nightmare was just about to start. I informed the 2 front end ladies "I have a reservation for 2 at 6:00 and the last name is $?@&." She couldn't find my reservation. I asked her if it was under my wife's name. She said no. She proceeded to ask me when I called in with my reservation. I told her I made my reservation online. BOTH ladies informed me the computers are old and they don't get online reservations. OMG!! Really? I asked her if she was going to seat us as soon as a table is available. She told me I would be placed on the list and it was going to be 40 minutes. OMG!! Really? Approximately 40 minutes later, we finally got our table. Our waiter was a very nice young man. But, he was obviously new and untrained (because of the excessive amount of time we were in your restaurant, it was obvious most of your staff were as unprepared as our waiter). My wife wanted lobster tails for her birthday. After perusing the internet for restaurants serving lobster tails and then reviewing each restaurants menu, we made reservations at your restaurant. BIG MISTAKE!! Our poor waiter handed us the all you can eat menus. My wife requested the menu with lobster tails on it. The waiter begrudgingly brought us each a full menu, that included lobster tails. Our waiter informed us that if someone at the table orders from the non-all you can eat menu, both of us (I will assume this "rule" applies to tables with several customers?) will only be able to order from the non-all you can eat menu. At this point, I asked to speak to the manager. Approximately 10 minutes later, the manager arrived. He was a very nice gentleman. I relayed my extreme displeasure regarding his front desk and their refusal to rectify your restaurants snafu regarding online reservations. I inquired about not being able to order from your all you can eat menu if my wife orders from a different menu. He informed me that it's a company "policy." OMG!! Really? I won't go into the rest of my conversation with your manager, mainly because I was so pissed off. The manager eventually "permitted" me to order from the all you can eat menu. Approximately 35 minutes after ordering our food, our salads finally arrived. Eventually, our food arrived. So as to be consistent with all the other restaurant staff, my wife's broiled lobster tails arrived boiled, instead of broiled (if you refuse to train your entire staff, I'm certain there a many YouTube videos that can do more than you in preparing your staff). I could tell she was very disappointed with her expensive lobster meal. At this point, I don't remember the timeline because I had already raised the white flag and surrendered to your incompetent restaurant. You should be embarrassed with the quality of your untrained staff, customer service, food quality, etc. Your sign on your front door reads "HELP WANTED". My prediction is, in the not to distant future, you will also have an additional sign... "CUSTOMERS WANTED". I would conclude this message with a "Good luck", but I doubt luck would ever bet on you. I've dined at michelin star restaurants however don't be fooled by its looks, this place is a sham. I visited for Father's Day along with my family expecting a fine dining experience. This ended up being an "all you can eat" style restaurant charging $40 per adult and $25 per child. Anyhow, the cooks lack culinary skills. The steaks were dry and not cooked to desire, pasta sauce tasted like it had coffee in it, the ribeye burgers looked and tasted like school lunch burgers, nearly half of what we ordered-the kitchen had "run out" of, none of the food was seasoned so everything tasted bland, and the desserts tasted weeks old. Ended up having to pay a gratitude of $30 for party of 6 even though only 4 of us dined, running the tab over $200 for the worst dine out experience we have ever had. It was such a disappointment.
