The atmosphere is fun, with a range of ages represented and welcoming to all. The pool tables are always in use, so you may have to wait a round, but there are darts and foosball in the back room. But as a dive beer, expect a worn in feel to the place and a lot more cigarette smoke. I try to get in here with friends every few weeks and I always find people to just strike up random conversations with in this friendly bar. Oh Leon Pub, don't change a thing!

I didn't want to wait until the next showing which was much later, so he just said go to another theater inside the building. He was very apologetic. What the theater needs to do is have a list of which movies are playing in what theater so there is no mix up like this again.

There are lots of pool tables; some are coin-op and others you rent. Depending on which table you're playing at, you might not be close to a TV monitor. There are a number of big screens inside, but nearly enough that they should be calling themselves a sports bar in my opinion. The bar is OK and the staff were pleasent enough. I tried their deep friend mushrooms. They were actually pretty good! But heads up. This place charges a mandatory gratuity of 18% on all orders with the exception of visitors coming in early M-Th. Add that on top of already high prices and you're in pretty deep. Advice: in Florida (and most states), paying mandatory gratuity charges are not actually required (or legal) and they cannot force you to pay it. If you're dissatisfied with your service, you can line out the mandatory gratuity and put in whatever you feel is appropriate. However, I've also heard that it may be legal as long as it is posted...which it was. I would have rated another star higher had it not been for the mandatory gratuity...which is the highest I've ever run into in my travels. As a single traveler, I don't feel the overall price was reasonable. So I won't be back.

Customer beware. This restaurant did an unauthorized charge to my daughter's credit card. Searching Google Reviews I found customers who complained of the same. My daughter, who was visiting Tallahassee, went to eat at Zingales with her sister and cousin. Two women who were present at a paint with a twist event they had just attended asked if they could accompany them to the restaurant. The waiter was aware there would be 3 separate checks. My daughter and her sister had their item on 1 receipt. My daughter's cousin had her receipt and the 2 women shared 1 receipt. My daughter used her credit card to pay her bill which was $17. Her signature on the receipt should've ended the transaction between my daughter and Zingales. She later learned her card was charged $127 because the 2 women they had just met left out without paying their bill. She was told by the owner of Zingales this is their policy to charge any card used at the table even when they are not authorized to do so. Even if each party at a table has separate receipts. This is a blatant disregard for the Electronic Fund Transfer Act. A federal law which says a business Cannot take more money than what is authorized. In his response to my review the owner takes no responsibility for his illegal act. Instead he tries to justify it by fabricating a false narrative to sully my daughter's character. The facts are my daughter was visiting Tallahassee. Neither she, her sister or her cousin had any contact or knowledge of these 2 women before meeting them a short time before at a paint with a twist event. The meals at the table WERE NOT SHARED. The 2 women ordered shots for the table which you applied to their bill.

11/16/2019 Came on the last weekend of the fair (Saturday night) and yes it was packed with long…read morelines and hard to find parking. This is a good sign! Lots of people means it is very popular. We actually parked outside of the venue in a private lot for $5 which was an excellent value. The lines of cars and associated traffic jams were almost at a complete standstill and we only walked 1 block to get in! The line for entry tickets was super long and moving slowly as well. Another person in line mentioned that the North Florida Fair has a website with online ticket sales! So we logged in on our smartphones, filled out the necessary credit card information and were able to purchase $8 general admission entry tickets in a snap! (a small $1 service charge was applied per ticket) A barcode was emailed to us which was scanned at the gate on our iPhones and we were in! We cut our entry wait time to zero! Sweet! Once inside we were immediately immersed into the lights, sounds and smells that define a fair. It was euphoric. We visited the pavilions first to see the many various categories of Fair contests all competing for that coveted 1st place blue ribbon! Livestock, arts, plants, prepared foods, quilts, etc., all in a friendly competition judged by I'm sure impeccable non-biased judges with excellent palates and senses, and having the knowledge of what it takes to choose a winner. It is so inspiring to see the local and surrounding communities coming together to be a part of such a wonderful fair tradition! As we meandered down the midway it seemed everyone had smiles on their faces, the twinkle of glittering lights in their eyes, handfuls of foods and puppy love teens clasping hands. I wasn't surprised to see long lines for the more popular rides which seemed to move at a snails pace. There was an option to pay $35 which included main gate entry and unlimited rides. The fair was supposed to be open until the wee hours of Sunday morning and as the night wore on the crowds thinned out and the ride lines shortened. I'm pretty sure that those with the unlimited ride passes were able to get their monies worth as early birds departed. I am a big fan of distractions. Life's distractions. The fair provides a way to let go of your daily grind temporarily to enjoy some fun family time or just do a little thrill seeking. The North Florida Fair delivers.
