Because of my dog's breed, and bad behaviors she picked up before I rescued her, I was calling neighbors and looking on yelp because I needed a good dog walker that understands this breed and the importance of control while in public. After months of private training sessions and pack training, my pup is still a work in progress but my walker is reinforcing the commands as my dog is constantly learning how to behave proper in a social setting. More recently, my normal dog sitter canceled at the last minute and my pup's regular walker, Sonia, stepped up to the plate and salvaged my out of town travel trip. Most importantly I knew my Maligator was in good hands as she cries with excitement every time she sees Sonia coming. I cant say enough good things about this company to be able to drop down and make the perfect fit for my fur baby and my peace of mind. They said all dogs get the same flat cut in short, medium, or long. They charged me $85 just for a wash, plus I left a tip, and they didn't even trim the hair around the private areas. They only cut the nails, and even the nails were scratched up. They also didn't remove the hair from inside my poodle's ears, which is very important because poodles are sensitive and those hairs need to be cleaned out. When I asked why they didn't do it, they said they don't have the equipment for it. Overall, this is the worst grooming place I've ever taken my dog to.

The woman I handed him to had this harsh, cold demeanor and the whole place had a tense vibe about it. My dog is already a stress ball and this didn't help. I learned about K9 Loft on a whim -- I drove by it. Place looked cool. Spacious. And moreover, the employees I spoke to were rather welcoming, nice and knowledgable. I set him for an appointment to get bathed and groomed with a woman named Vickie and I will now only take him to her. I don't know exactly what it is about her energy but Boomer seems to be more relaxed around her. For that reason alone, I bring him here. It also helps I pick him up smelling nice and looking good. If only that nice smell lasted more than a week, but a dog's a dog. :)
