Will is the best! I took my desktop PC (along with an external hard drive which backs up my computer every night) into a shop because it was acting strangely. After a week, they called and said I needed a new hard drive, so I gave the OK for an install. After a few more days they called and I picked up my PC. I asked if they had downloaded everything from my external (back up) drive. They said, "oh, we don't know how to do that". So, I took my PC home, hooked it up and there it was: nothing: no fotos, no documents, no downloads, no software programs, no passwords for internet sites I often use, NADA! I called Will and he came to my home for a very reasonable price and transferred everything from my external drive onto my PC. He also reviewed all the files on my PC, deleted the unnecessary files, cleaned up the whole system and now its like I have a brand new computer. My computer suddenly wouldn't turn on. After troubleshooting over the phone, a house visit was necessary. After testing, he discovered my hard drive was failing. Will is fantastic. I discovered him last year and have called him a few times to help with PC problems at my small business. He is always able to solve the problem quickly, and check for any other issues while he's here. Recently I needed to replace 3 aging computers, and add a new one to our network. Will came in on the weekend to do the file migrations, app and driver installations, network setup and integration, and upgrades to our OS and accounting software. He even suggested and installed a classic shell to ease my concerns about switching to Windows 10. There were challenges along the way, and he was able to solve them all to get us back up and running for Monday morning. Then he checked in on us to be sure everything was working. I have been using Will Baker from The PC Computer Doctor for about 6-7 years. I originally found him through the Pennysaver, and what I like best about Will is his honesty and trustworthiness. Will comes to your house or wherever your computer is. I am a 60+ year old woman that isn't the most tech savvy person in the world. Will takes his time doing whatever you need to have done, but patiently explaining any instructions. He can clean up your system, remove viruses, update things, and probably tutor you if needed. I have had Will to my house probably about eight times in these past years and I couldn't be happier. He is always very fair. His current rate is $50 an hour. There are probably a number of people that can get the job done, but what I like best is Will's low key, non-pushy approach and the fact I am completely comfortable with him coming to my home.
