We saw Joe Devito the night we went, and for those who don't know him, he is hysterical! He's also such a nice down to earth guy who hung out with us for a while after the show. He talked to us, took pictures with us, and was just like one of us! I also liked the fact that when I took a picture with him, he wasn't that much taller than me! He's so cute and very, very funny! The entire staff that night was also awesome, very friendly and seemed to really have fun that night as well. We will definitely be back :-)

WiFi wasn't great, we definitely used some cellular and personal hotspot etc BUT you won't find a place on Long Island where you can get two bedrooms, a full bath, full eat in kitchen, living room and covered deck off the side of the cabin for the price you will pay here. There's common areas for BBQing and then you bring your food back to your room/cabin, or you can cook in the kitchen but who wants to do that at the beach LOL. There is also free snacks and beverages in the lobby for guests pretty much 24 hrs. Free simple bf foods like muffins, etc in the mornings too. They have day beds and hammocks on the backyard lawn but the entire point of staying here is that when you go up and over the stairs you're on the beach. They have beach chairs or you can bring your own. We brought a wagon and my husband was able to walk around the side to bring everything over instead of lugging your stuff up and over. Kid friendly, dog friendly quiet area of the beach. We got one rainy day and drove into river head for the aquarium and stopped in Mattituck on the way back to the resort for Magic Fountain HomemadeIce Cream. Despite that at 3pm I texted their service about it and they wrote IN TEXT how they lowered it, they claim they don't regulate it. How ever all night long, I couldn't get the temperature below 70 degrees. At 5:30 am I texted the service. 15 minutes later they text me stating they lowered it to 62. I didn't read that message until 7:30 am. They completely deny regulating the temperature. We have a big argument about it, BECAUSE THEY'RE LYING. The owner Adriana, I think her name it, shows up to my room to state how the room temp was 68. YES AT 7:30 AM AFTER YOU ADJUSTED IT DUE TO MY TEXT COMPLAINT. DUH. She doesn't like that I pointed that out to her, and she wants to stomp her feet that I am being rude and she will not tolerate me being disrespectful to her, well I feel the same way liar. She will not leave MY ROOM, as I had already started to pack to leave and canceled the rest of the week which they agreed to refund me for. She is so stubborn that she held her one foot in the doorway so I could not close the door until she had her say in the matter. She thinks she owns the property and therefore doesn't have to leave MY ROOM. It's mine until 10 am, unless I am committing a crime. I literally had to close the door on her to get her out. I have all the proof in the world on text messages that they control the AC. I hope she saved $10 and appreciates my horrible experience and living with this review.

This place is a complete scam and one of the most disgusting experiences I've ever had while traveling. First off, the beds were advertised as queen-sized, but they were WAY smaller -- total false advertising. The bathroom had a sign saying you can't use toilet paper to wipe yourself, which is just nasty and unsanitary. How is this even allowed? The room wasn't cleaned during our stay unless we requested it (which we weren't even told up front), and the tiny garbage cans didn't even have lids -- so we were just sitting in filth. On top of that, there were creepy guys sleeping in their cars right outside the building all night. It felt super unsafe, especially for women traveling. Honestly, I've stayed at trailer parks and Jersey Shore motels with better standards and more respect for basic hygiene and safety. We paid Hamptons prices for a complete dump. Save your money, your peace of mind, and your skin -- stay literally anywhere else.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating (although they weren't able to offer a later checkout which was a bummer because our last day was the only one with decent weather), but we were really pleasantly surprised. The cottages are the perfect amount of space (we had 5 people, 2 in each room and one on the pullout couch. Originally we were going to get a suite for 4 people with a cot, but they let us know that for the same price we could do the option we did which was really nice of them to let us know. There was plenty of room for everyone and the room was extremely clean and felt like it was recently redone! The only issue we had was that the hot water ran out pretty quickly (which with 5 people showering, was expected, but we had to shower pretty spaced out in order for everyone to have hot water). The cottage was pretty well stocked (the only thing we really had to ask for more of was towels. I'd recommend buying or bringing an extra pot or pan if you plan on cooking a lot, which we did. We brought seran wrap and plates and paper towels which made things easier. The oven was also a little tricky to work as it had no temperature gauge, but that might not be in all of the rooms or cottages. The A/C was in perfect working condition. The property itself was awesome - pool was clean and a good size with plenty of chairs and the water toys (paddle boats, kayaks, etc) were in great condition and we had help getting everything in to the water. There are picnic tables on the bay as well (we had a great view of the sunset from there). Stop and Shop was pretty close driving so that was helpful too if you plan on using the kitchen. It was a bit of a drive from town so I would definitely recommend coming with a car as ubers and cabs are expensive there, but it's not totally necessary (We were able to get an uber a few times with no too long of a wait). Overall a great experience and place to stay at a very reasonable price!

Although she gave an apology during check out, it did not mitigate the inconvenience and stress caused by the lack of communication and preparedness. I had arranged for a friend to stay with me, but due to the uncomfortable experience, she chose to stay elsewhere that night. This experience reflects a significant lapse in service standards. Professionalism, clear communication, and respect are fundamental expectations for any guest, and these were not met. As a result, I would not consider returning.

The hotel has 2 swimming pools, one outdoor and one indoor. Only the indoor one was heated. This was a very nice close and fast getaway from the city. There is complimentary breakfast which was different each day for the 3 days we were there. The parking lot, theres one thats directly in front of the hotel and another thats directly across the street. The one that is right across the street does have EV charging!! Note that its the slow charging like the one you have at home. It is part of the tesla network there it's not exactly free and will be deducted from your payment through the tesla app. I believe it was 30c per kWh, which isnt bad. Will be coming back here very soon.
