Beautiful boutique hotel. We stayed in room 1 and you have a wide beachfront porch and a full wall of windows overlooking the bay. Our room had vaulted ceilings and giant bathtub in the room with bath salts that were delightful. Definitely plan a couples retreat and stay here. read more

We had a noisy neighbor - shouting, cursing, hitting things. We called the number and left a voicemail provided by the hotel b/c they're not staffed at night, but nothing...never heard back, the neighbor continued till around midnight. Too bad. My wife and I had stayed here for one night after being with the kids all week. We had stayed from August 20th to the 21st. The property is great and the private beach is amazing! The rooms are clean and the property is well kept. Only issue we had was the hot tub didn't get as hot. Also maybe some general maintenance needed to be don't like changing a lightbulb but other than that, we would say here again. Definitely a gem to be found on Long Island. read more

Stayed here before Covid in January! Loved the place, such a pretty boutique hotel with a gorgeous set up! From the rooms to the ambience to the location everything was great! The rooms open up to the this beautiful backyard kinda set up which is connected to a lake. The decor at night is beautiful and so well lit up. Great restaurants at a short distance from the hotel. We went during the winter and loved it , can't imagine it being anything less than amazing in a better weather! read more

Truly an amazing boutique hotel with incredible staff! Extremely attentive front desk. They do close at 10 pm and don't have microwaves in the room, but decor and design make up for it!! The resort also DOES have ice on property!! Plus - amazing water views. We had a garden view room and still could see the water! This hotel is probably an incredible spot during the summer, even during the winter the hot tub and convenient parking can't be beat. Defintley should be on the Bucketlist as a place to stay!!! The perfect weekend getaway! A great place to relax and recharge! The staff was friendly and attentive, the room was beautiful and clean! A picnic basket breakfast was outside our door every morning. Don't let the snowy winter months deter you! An igloo is set up with tables, games and heaters making the space super cozy! As advertised, there's no restaurant on-site but there are plenty to choose from in the area (staff is very knowledgeable and provided me with a few recommendations prior to my stay). We didn't end up using the hot tub or sauna but those are also available amenities! Would definitely recommend! read more

This place is an absolute gem! A hidden getaway with the most perfect, modern and clean rooms along with such a chill vibe. The private beach is clean and beautiful and the hotel has a great set up with so many areas to relax and chill. This is definitely a couples or family chill vibe. No restaurant on site which is fine because plenty to do close by like wineries and restaurants. Morning picnic basket breakfast is great with really good coffee- something that isn't easy to find out East. All in all - I will definitely come back. Minor flaw is front desk leaves early so a b challenging to get in touch with anyone should you need help post a certain hour. read more

Such an amazing visit to Aqua! After having to cancel due to the passing of my father, Javier was so accommodating and let us rebook our stay. From the modern and very clean rooms with amazingly comfortable beds, to the beautifully landscaped garden area with ample seating, to the soft sand lined with lounges at waters edge, Aqua has truly outdone themselves! All I'm going to say is we love this place. Stayed here more then a couple of times. There very dog friendly. We always travel with our fur baby. The property is very well maintained and clean. Very nicely decorated. Sits right on the beach. So you don't have to walk far to get to the water. The rooms are spacious and clean. You have your own outside deck with a hot tub and a nice sitting area to eat out side if you like. You will also receive every morning a picnic basket with breakfast consisting of Bagels pastries yogurts fresh coffee and orange juice. What really makes this place stand out is the management. Edward the manager will go out of his way to make your experience exceptional. I've mentioned we stayed here a couple Of times this was the first time with the new management. And we seen a big difference it's was good before outstanding now. Keep up the great work. Also we love the area. Lot of great places to eat at great prices also your near a lot of winery's if you don't feel like laying out. We prefer it here. Check out On The Dock and Bouy One great food and they Allow dogs. There is also a great deli around the corner from on the dock. Love lane kitchen is great for brunch and two shops over is the best donuts you will ever have. I came here for my birthday with my husband. When we checked in the woman kept emphasizing on the NO smoking policy! it was really annoying because we don't smoke. There was a lot of bug marks on the walls and mosquitoes in the room. The shower pressure was amazing! There needs to be extra sitting in the room because that hard wooden bench is uncomfortable and it rained during our trip. The views are absolutely stunning!! Unfortunately you won't be able to sleep in because housekeeping arrives really early and you can hear everything. The walls are thin! Overall I will rate my experience at 7 and I really enjoyed the water views and outside sitting! I was definitely able to unplug and recharge here. read more

Went here recently for an anniversary...absolutely stunning location! The staff was nice to provide a complimentary upgrade at our request to a room with a closer waterfront view since we were celebrating. Check in was at 4:00 which is very late but since no one was staying in our room the night before they also gave us an early check in :) Service, ambiance, location, and the room was spectacular. The bathrooms are a bit small and they don't have a restaurant or room service which is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. However lots of options to uber eats or delivery. Rather than going out to a fancy restaurant we decided to deliver some food and wine and enjoy the beautiful location and views and eat in our bathrobes, which were super comfy and warm! read more

Our stay at Aqua was nothing short of fantastic. We were lucky enough to be able to stay in room 1 and it was absolutely stunning. The room was bright and airy with trendy decor, a private balcony/beach area and huge windows overlooking the water. The atmosphere at this boutique hotel is peaceful, quiet and relaxing, and the complimentary breakfast in the garden area was such a nice touch. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect stay. Lindsey, Ali and Erin at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful from check in to check out. They answered any questions we had and gave us excellent dinner recommendations. And Javier and Jason made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Hotel is aesthetically cute. Very modern, nice finishes, huge lounge area, beach is more of an inlet. But that's where it really ends - there is absolutely no scene going on, no bar, no onsite alcohol, no restaurant, all they have is a cabana which only contains water and some beef jerky snacks as recommended by the reception. The staff is useless at the front desk, no staff at night, feels like the place is run by millennials-not adults, had to chase housekeeping for toilet paper which we ran out of and did not leave extra, left no replacement conditioner for my hair so I had to go without, room dark, air conditioner noisy, no phone in room, bad coffee, breakfast was awful. Do not recommend at all. For the money we paid??? No way. Save your money, go somewhere else. read more

I was planning on using this property for my daughters wedding. We booked several rooms and the bridal suite. Due to parking at the resort, and size of suite, it would not meet our needs. I canceled rooms in allotted time but was still charged for rooms never used. I was a hotel sales manager and know cancellation policies. I thought it had to be an oversight, contacted desk manager, GM and finally the owner. No one got back to me ,very sad .And so I never like to review in this manner, I thought I should this time. Unfortunately I can't review a stay here because our daughter became seriously ill just before our stay for our 20 year anniversary. Although we had just booked a couple of days before and explained the situation, the staff hotel not only refused to refund our deposit that they'd so briefly held, they were rude, dismissive, and completely unsympathetic. It's a perfect place to stay if you want to relax. The rooms are really nice - a nice and perfect bed (the mattress was so good) the bathroom is a bit tiny but all you need. Every room has a private patio and there is a big garden with chairs, hammocks and some deck chairs (unfortunately there are no pillows for them this would make them much more comfortable) there are also some desks where you can eat and also a private beach area. It's really a perfect place to be if you want to calm down. Actually you need a car as it's a bit out of town and they don't offering any food beside the minibar stuff but nevertheless if you have a car there is a small town close by where you can hab breakfast lunch or dinner or where you can buy some some snacks or drinks for the time sitting at your patio and enjoying the area. read more

I loved this place. I wanted something by the water and it's exactly what I wanted. It was super clean, the room was warm. I went in December 2018. The room had all the stuff I needed as well as snack, liquor, soda, water etc. And the staff was very nice. Only down side was the cleaning ladies were next door cleaning and were super loud talking the whole time and cut my sleep. It wasn't super earlier (9am)but it was my free morning with no kids and of course it's a luxury I don't get a lot. But def was so cute and outside back had an amazing view and decor great. read more

The day after I booked a room, I was contacted by the property and told that the room I had booked was not available and that they had booked me in a different room that would "cost more money." Their other suggestion was to have us move rooms during a three-day trip. Came here for a weekend getaway with the girls in August. Check in was quick and our room was ready immediately. Beautifully cleaned and decorated room with an unbelievable view of the bay! We needed ice for our white claws and when we got to desk they said the ice machine had broken..then Javier (superhero) came to our door and asked for our ice bucket and that he would return with ice. We had stayed at this "Boutique" facility last year and enjoyed the retro rooms and quiet relaxed atmosphere. We were excited, again this year, this time with a ocean view room. We drive 9 hrs. From Ohio on Labor Day. We checked in, and were instructed the ocean view rooms had hot tubs outside rooms . No alcohol and glass permitted in hot tub. Quiet time after 10:00 PM. We signed the strict waiver. Went into town to eat. When we came back, ready for slumber, both rooms, on either side of us, were using hot tubs and partying with each other, crossing our patio, back and forth. Loud music. And constant dog barking. Breaking the rules. The next morning, we discovered the hot tub, room 4 left a 12 pack of glass corona bottles. We sent management a picture. After we sent the photo, Rachel, Aqua's own employee, we signed the rule agreement with, came running out of room 4, wearing the facility robe, trying to pick up the bottles and dropped them. Then came, Isabella, Aqua's management, running out of room 4 down the hall. We asked for a refund for this evening of stressful, disturbing evening, but they refused. This facility is not peaceful but a party place fir the staff. The owners were out of the country. Then the cat's away the mice will Play! read more

We absolutely loved it here. Was the perfect place to take our 6 year old and 10month old kids. We got the 2 room family suite which was perfect because our baby went into that room at bedtime and closed the door! Had we all piled up in one room, no one would have gotten any sleep. Had a kitchenette with fridge so I can keep all his formula cold; a bathtub so I can wash him (note the other rooms were showers only). Gorgeous shared garden with hammocks and own sandbox area; seconds walk to the beach. Beautiful views; attentive/friendly front desk service; close to all activities we wanted to do (Harbes farm, riverhead aquarium, splish splash, vineyards, tanger outlets). We booked during the week and before most schools let out so it was extremely peaceful and not crowded. They have 18 rooms in total. The 2 family suite which I believe is the only one was at the far corner end. Was a great vacation and I would definitely do again! read more

I will start by saying that this place is gorgeous. It really is a perfect escape, and while I wish them every success I also hope it can retain its hidden gem qualities! That said, given the price I do have a few more expectations from management - customer service (it wasn't bad it just wasn't remarkable in any way); more thorough housekeeping; and, I think it would be nice to deliver some complimentary fruit or breakfast pastries to the rooms in the mornings. We stayed in the three BR suite and it was very comfortable and spacious. It suited our family to a tee. The towels and sheets were all very comfy and the robes were amazingly plush. The kitchenette is very useful but a few little extras like a kitchen towel, dish soap, sharp knife would all be useful. The outdoor area is beautiful and very comfortable. Enough space for many guests to hang out with feeling cramped. Super relaxing vibe. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return soon! read more

LOVE this place so much! We've been coming back 4 years in a row. It's easy to get to from NYC and it is just dreamy and chill. Decor is beautiful and stylish. Access to the bay is calming and absolute perfection. And the staff (Javier, Shanice, Raphael, Alijiah(sp?)) was so wonderful, warm, and friendly. Close to everything that North Fork has to offer, the vineyards, the farms, great restaurants to local eateries that have been a staple on the island. Our daughter also loves the 2 resident rabbits, so adorable and precious. We will be back for sure! Looking forward to seeing you all again read more

My husband and I had been looking forward for a parent's weekend away for our anniversary. We had stayed in their greenport location last year for our anniversary and were very happy. However, we stayed there this weekend and upon checking in (930 on Friday night), our air conditioning unit was broken! This is a brand new hotel and it wasn't working. We called the number provided, as no one is at the hotel at the main desk at this hour, and no one called us back. We slept the entire night, a HOT summer night with our AC stuck at 76 degrees! It was hotter than I can explain. They did change our room for the second night, which was nice, but after a night of no sleep in an unbearable room, we were expecting them to credit us for the night. Upon checkout we were offered a minimal reduction ($44.00) off the check. I kindly explained that we expect more after spending the night without AC and was told to send an email. I did this, with the same response. I asked to be contacted by a manager in order to discuss further, and no one called me! After over 24 hours I called and finally spoke to the manager. They called me back an hour later to tell me they would offer us $100 off of the total $880 bill. Once again I explained how we were disappointed, but the manager simply said ok, have a good night, and hung up. I'm so upset, because we truly did enjoy the property, and would've come back. Unfortunately, they did not handle the situation appropriately, by not compensating us for a hot summer night without air conditioning, so we will not be returning to the property. read more
