I need an update to my hair and made an apt as I also needed a new stylist and I was not disappointed/ the service was awesome, I look fabulous if I do say so myself. Quality of products were great as well and I really didn't need anything but I got them anyway because my hair looks great and they smell so good. The salon was clean and inviting well lit. My stylist was Sara and she is fabulous and really listened to me and took all my answers into consideration when giving me advice and kept me informed all the way through our appointment. A stylist has incredible power to impact our life for over a year by not listening and not taking care to do the cut that was discussed and agreed upon, even when they are a top level stylist with 30 years of experience, and with a picture provided!! Never have I felt so disrespected by a hairstylist. While washing my hair, she told me she didn't need new clients! What!? First clue. I sent photos of the style I wanted the day before. We discussed again when I arrived, and I asked specifically if I had enough length for the long version. She said yes and proceeded to give me a basic, old lady cut - all one length - short! I'm in my seventies so I guess she figured I wouldn't care what kind of job she did. She did zero shaping, or feathering. It was a horrible cut and NOT what we agreed upon. I am angry at myself for again trusting that a top level stylist would pay attention to the job at hand and not work on autopilot. I have had many good cuts and color over the years, and a few terrible experiences. read more

Let me preface this review by saying I typically am NOT a complainer. I have lived in Pace for two years and was given a gift card to this place. I am moving and decided to use my gift card on a mani pedi before leaving. I sat down to begin my service for a European Pedicure and Manicure..which was really more just a wetting of my feet/hands and polish. No cuticle removal, no exfoliation, no callus removal, no dry skin removal. My cuticles were pushed down, polish was applied, and I was out the door. I was actually BAFFLED that they were about to try to charge me $70 for this service. I felt horrible complaining because the girl that did the job even told me she normally does hair- she doesn't do nails. She was nice and probably did her best, but the fact that they wanted to charge $70 for this was hilarious. To make things better, I brought up my concerns to the girl at the front desk checking me out. She grabbed the manager, who was apologetic. They asked the "owner" what should be done, and the owner said to discount my service 30%. I paid $37 to use their nail polish, essentially. I am hoping this review allows me to post photos, because people need to see how horrible the job was because this review 100% does not do it justice. read more

Tim did awesome, he's super engaging and is great to hang with for an hour. The haircut was awesome, I get a skin fade and I have thick black hair so I know it can be tedious. He absolutely killed it and I couldn't be happier. I asked for a hard part and Tim hooked it up and the part isn't overbearing.
