This small coffee shop is perfect. Right now (COVID) it seems like it's geared more towards grabbing your drink/food and heading out but they do have a couple tables inside and more in the lobby/hallway of the hotel they occupy. Every time I go in I'm met with excellent service from who I assume are the owners. They are very quick and usually insist on bringing the drink/food to us if they're not busy, which is a nice gesture. I have only tried one of the breakfast wraps but have had many breakfast sandwiches on bagels and they were all perfect. The black coffee is even very good and they make an excellent mocha. I cannot recommend this place enough! read more

I absolutely love going here! The food is good, the coffee is amazing, and the guy that works in the afternoons is super friendly, personable, and welcoming. The first time we went here, we were impressed with friendliness and service of the staff members, and the food and drinks were amazing! Our barista was awesome! She seemed like the owner, possibly...? She was so cheery and complimentary. It seems like she is on a first name basis with a lot of her repeat customers, which takes some time and effort, but it seems so natural to her. You simply cannot find customer service like hers in most modern/franchised cafes nowadays. I ordered the family favorite avocado toast - it was delicious!! And not to mention... totally Instagram-worthy! It was beautiful AND tasty!! :) You might not think avocado toast can be beautiful... but THIS one was!! I also got a green smoothie - so fresh and fruity... exactly what I needed. :) The second time we visited, I got an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on English muffin. We needed a quick bite to eat while we were on-the-go, so this was perfect. I ordered an iced matcha latte with it (she recommended it with honey), and it was delicious! Sweet, but not too sweet. Perfectly blended (no powder texture - just all the matcha flavor, with honey). Again, our barista was super sweet. We used to come here quite frequently because they had the best iced coffee in town. Something changed and now it's by far the worst. Change of owners? Brands? Not sure but it's a tasteless watered down mess. Actually threw out what I bought. Hope they reconsider what changes they've made. I loved having other coffee shops to choose from. read more

This locally owned, delightful little coffee shop conveniently located just under a block from the intersection of Market and Patrick (on Patrick) has just undergone a fabulous renovation under its new management. The decor is modern, functional and airy, the seating is comfortable, and best of all, the coffee is fantastic! Well worth a few extra steps for an alternative to Starbucks. The new owners are open to ideas, and on a recent visit, asked us how they could better serve their customers, and really listened. They hope to soon hold a Grand Opening, so stay tuned. The Perfect Blend Cafe is my new favorite place for my breakfast. The hazelnut coffee is amazing. I have enjoyed a fried egg, turkey bacon and toasted croissant sandwich. My favorite is a fried egg, turkey bacon with avocado( no bread). The young lady at the register is so pleasant with the best customer service. The cook is just as nice. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!! Me and my sister came here because of the great reviews, I got a bagel sandwich and she got a bagel with cream cheese. Neither of the bagels were toasted. The workers couldn't be bothered to put the cream cheese on themselves. The bacon on my sandwich was chewy and sparse, the cheese was not melted and plastic-y and the egg was a cold grey disk of nastiness. SO YUCKY Y'ALL!!! read more

From the mural on the walls to the tasty coffee and other drink blends, to the mostly pre-made sandwich selections and desserts, I find it unique and delightful. Always really good from The Perfect Blend. Disclaimer, I actually don't drink coffee, but these guys make fantastic wraps, sandwiches, soups and smoothies. We go here from work at least once a week and I've never had anything bad from this place. Everything is fresh. There are some pre-made sandwiches and salads in the counter but they're not soggy, manufactured elsewhere or anything like that. They're fresh, made same day and look/taste that way too. Usually a pretty good selection of bakery items as well. Staff is always friendly and really efficient. Small place so don't expect to go sit down in there with endless tables. There are a few but it's best to grab and go during peak times. If you have't, give this place a go. It definitely caters to the downtown walkable crowd, as there's not great parking other than the parking deck a block down, so I imagine it's not worth the effort to drive into downtown just to come here, but if you live and/or work locally, it's a really awesome spot! read more

Food and Drink: Baltimore coffee. Iced coffee was delicious, add your own milk or half and half, and sugar. Iced coffee with 2 pumps of pumpkin spice was okay... I was not impressed by the pumpkin flavor. Snow Angel specialty drink had a yummy, strong chocolate coffee flavor. Donuts were fresh and soft, and the bacon breakfast sandwich was warm and tasty. Several other offerings including Greek yogurt, naked juice, and soups to go for lunch. Prices were very reasonable. Service: Fast and efficient- they kept up really well with the morning rush, adequately staffed, very FRIENDLY! Atmosphere: Small, cozy, well lit, nicely decorated. Two or three tables with two or three chairs each, some counter seating by the window and additional seating in a lobby. Nice to have a local, independently owned, Starbucks alternative in downtown. I go almost every day, at the very least for a cup of coffee. I love their Baltimore Blend. It's a perfect cup of coffee, and a great price. Every single time I've gone, I've received excellent, fast, and super friendly service. I've never gotten a bad drink or pastry, and I've tried a lot of their menu. Their muffins are so moist and amazing. The egg and cheese, and turkey-bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches are my favorite food items to order. (I'm usually there for breakfast.) This seemed like a nice shop with a good menu. I ordered a small blended green tea straight from the menu with no modifications, and the girl looked at me like I had three heads. She then asked me how that's made and when I told her I'd never been there before and was unsure, she started listing ingredients which she believed went into the drink. She appeared to be the only person in the shop, and really had no idea what she was doing. When she rang me up the register listed a different drink at $2 more than what was listed on the menu. I pointed this out to her, and she said it was due to there not being a "green tea" button, but I pointed out the price difference. She had to go over and look at the menu board, and then re- ring my order. After all this, the drink tasted like there was way too much milk in it, but I was not about to go back. It seemed as if this could have been a decent place for coffee or lunch, but it was irresponsible to leave this girl alone to handle things. As a former coffee shop owner and having trained in Seattle with one of the absolute best in the industry (no...not Starbucks)....Caffe D'arte, I can honestly say that this is okay, but could be a whole lot better. At this point, I've never liked Starbucks, but have to say they are better. The beans are fine, but it is the preparation. The steaming of the milk on a latte is nowhere near what it should be...and the temperature was not even close to what it should be. A little training here would go a very long way...and I do like to support the local shops. If management is listening, I would strongly suggest learning to properly froth/steam milk for a latte. There was little to no real silky feel to the milk and it was only steamed for a very short time and given too much air throughout the process rather than up-front and then immersing the wand to heat it and make the milk evenly steamed to a silky froth throughout. I'd be glad to lend a hand to train for a brief time...it would do you a world of good....because what I saw otherwise for the shop was pretty good. Hope you will take some advice....get yourself the DVD called Espresso 101 and Espresso 102....if not. read more

Service was ridiculously slow (waited 30 minutes for 2 bagel sandwiches and 2 coffees). While waiting, more orders were being placed that took precedence over us. A couple was with their 2 kids were there waiting when we arrived and were still there waiting for food almost 40 minutes after we arrived. A simple bacon egg and cheese wasn't toasted and the cheese wasn't melted, it was all just thrown on a skimpy sandwich that was falling apart. Super disappointed and will not return.... read more

My wife and I stopped in as we wanted to grab a cup of coffee to walk around with enjoying the beautiful weather. My wife paid for our coffee and went to pour it from the self serve and only a quarter cup of coffee was left. The cashier/worker says they ran out (this was at 10am on a Sunday ) and they don't make anymore after this time of day. My wife was never told that she would get refunded or anything and was rushed through as others in line were ordering food (spending more). So, we walked around with a quarter cup of old coffee. I found this part out once my wife came outside, as I stayed outside with our little one. My wife asked me not to go in and make a scene... I told her I would at least be writing a review here as others should know this. We are new to Frederick in a new build community where others are new to the town. We have loved every other place we've been to but we will not be returning to this "coffee" shop. read more

I bought a latte with almond milk. The almond milk tasted spoiled and the latte tasted watered down and very awful. I will not return.
