They serve Baltimore Coffee Company coffee which is pretty darn good. I admit this isn't my favorite coffee shop in the area since it's really small so you can't chill out for awhile .... and parking can be a hassle during busy times due to its location. I do want to stop by for lunch at some point and plan to update my review down the road. I had to leave due to my kids I nicely asked for a refund for unmade beverages and never got my apple muffin. I spoke to who I thought was the manager and mentioned she double charged me. Now, I drove to this place after reading it's reviews being that I've recently relocated for work out in Frederick. It's a bit tough to spot if you're new to the area since it inside a hotel. There's paid street parking and two tables outside (I didn't pay attention to the inside since it was super tiny). Ordered a turkey bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant. The bacon was undercooked so I had to take it out. They have an extensive coffee menu which seems delicious but my focus was food. Therefore that's my sole focus of this review. The staff are professional and nice, expeditiously prepare your order and are super attentive to make sure they get your order right. For a hole in the wall dig, it was clean and well kept. I went in for a breakfast sandwich and cappuccino but to be honest, their menu was stacked with so many different options it was mind blowing! Cute cafe and great location. But have you ever paid extra for the bread in your sandwich? The menu said my sandwich was $5.99 but the manager at the cashier charged me extra for bread. Everytime I go here I get up charged. It's like "let's make a deal" Everytime you order. I try to order exactly from the menu but there's always additional charges..I just don't understand why I had to be charged for the bread..I wanted the bread it came with. So annoying. My sister and I had great breakfast sandwiches and coffee here this morning. There was good seating available in the lobby just outside the cafe which allowed us to have our dog there, with seating which would be even more convenient when it's cold or raining. We liked our visit very much, with friendly service and an offer of a treat for the dog too. And we both liked their coffee. It was robust without a burnt taste that some coffees seem to have. This cute little cafe is such a gem! My Frederick friend and I walked from her apartment here for Sunday breakfast. The guy working here was one of the nicest people I have ever encountered. My friend and I ordered iced coffees, which were free because we signed up for the emails/frequent customer list. The breakfasts were so amazing and freshly prepared for us quite quickly. I had a Southwestern Wrap, which is pure vegetarian deliciousness, complete with an egg, corn, and some veggies all tied together in a spinach wrap. I highly recommend the amazing spicy sauce that comes with the wrap! My friend opted for a bagel with pepperoni and egg, which was so flavorful. Of course we tried each others' selections! This truly was the perfect blend! I went there for the first time last night for a quick bite before a graduation celebration, and they had a "Nutty Irishman" special - Irish cream and hazelnut coffee... what more could a girl ask for? Now sometimes when you ask for a frozen blended coffee, it comes out watery or the ice pieces are too big and the coffee tastes off... This totally was NOT the case! I don't know how they did it, but it was a perfect balance of ice, coffee, syrups, and cream! Almost to the point that it tasted like a milkshake! Great to have another coffee shop downtown, especially considering what was in it's place before it opened. They have a few different blends from various roasters; most appeared to be local. The place appears to be family run, and I was greeted by a friendly staff. I had a breakfast sandwich that was a pretty typical greasy ham, egg, cheese and bread thing kept under a heatlamp. That's kind of what I expected, but I didn't expect to see a label from a different store on the sandwich with a rather large ingredient list (high fructose corn syrup included). That was kind of off putting, but hey it was cheap, and I'd rather know what I'm eating even if the ingredient list was kind of gratuitous. Coffee was pretty good, and I got in and out quickly. I'm glad to see another coffee shop downtown, and look forward to visiting again. read more

Preface: My husband ordered and paid for his food in advance so all I needed to do was swing by and pick-up his order. I swung by the front register to pick up my husband's order and to also order a sandwich and drink for myself -- and there was only one employee who signaled that she would with me in a minute. After 5 minutes, she approached me to take my order and apologized profusely for being behind on orders. I ordered a tuna melt and spiced chai latte -- and the chai latte was one of the best I've tried. The tuna melt tasted like it went for a leisurely swim in the Dead Sea so I was clearly not a fan. Service? Great. The employee was sweet as pie (and even knew a bit of sign) -- but was behind on orders. She's not to blame though, management is. Food? So-so. Drinks? Out of this world.
