I went to pay: $259 for two baseball hats made of plastic and polyester (not cotton, see the picture). They were $120 each, plus tax. A few times my size or the color I wanted was sold out and she ordered it for me and even brought it to my house. She has even become my friend and her husband, as well as my personal shopper. I have shopped at Barcelino for over 10 years. I am a loyal customer. I find it sad that as a…read morefull time resident there are no discounts. I understand that retail stores need to make a profit BUT when I shop at other stores and they ask me if I am a resident and they give a discount without me even asking for one. I purchase items from Barcelino that are over a minimum of $1,000 each time I shop. When I ask about a discount, even a small amount (since I shop there a few times a year) I'm told the owner won't approve it. You would think he would be open to even a small discount instead of risking a loyal customer not to shop there again which is what I may do.
