A sweet boutique located on charming Main Street in Tiburon! They sell women's clothing (think brands like Rails, Mother, Frank & Eileen) and accessories, as well as home decor items. I stopped in twice and wish I had more time to shop on each visit. They offer a wide selection of fun leather belts. I bought a belt, which ended up being too small (that's what I get for trying it in over a dress, instead of with jeans!). So I returned a few weeks later to exchange it. Like most boutiques, there's a short exchange window. Fortunately they let me make an exchange. Unfortunately the same belt was not available in the larger size so I had to make an exchange and pay the balance for a more expensive option. But I took home another belt that fits and that I love. I look forward to returning and exploring the store more when I'm next in Tiburon. read more

My husband and I were staying across the street at a hotel for a wedding. A few of us went across the street to shop. Unfortunately, we had terrible service from the sales team. they were unfriendly and cold. I asked to look at some earrings in a display case, but the cashier who was behind the case had no interaction with me. Main Street mercantile is my favorite store. The merchandise is well sourced, a great variety of the most current styles from different countries. It is like shopping the best in Europe in one local store. Their summer things are in and the fabrics are beautiful, Mediterranean blues, light cottons, and the children's and home goods are wonderful. It is a great place to shop for unique and fresh styles! You are greeted with a welcoming smile and told about the clothing, jewelry throughout. Parking is available close by, no crowds, and it's a beautiful location in Tiburon. If you haven't been, go visit. You will never shop in a large retail chain store again! read more

Bought the cutest block heel sandals for the up coming summer. Tried on this linen jumper than I fell in love with but they don't carry many sizes. It was little snug otherwise would've totally paid $149 for it. I'll be back hopefully they expand their sizes. read more

I'm in love with Tiburon and this store! My hubby and I visited Angel Island last weekend and decided to grab some dinner in downtown Tiburon to go before heading back to our hotel in Sausalito. We strolled past this lovely store and my eyes got caught by this cutest yet classiest ensemble with a white sweater cardigan paired with a lovely belt and blue Jean. The normal me will just storm in the store and ring up the sweater. However, I was anything but normal after a 10 miles hike with essentially no proper food in my tummy for the whole day. Fast forward 4 days later, I just can't get my mind off this sweater and decided to reach out to the store by email for inquiries. Darla, the store owner replied to me so quickly and with the help of Lindsey was able to pull the exact sweater I was looking for, rung it up and shipped to me the same day, the package arrived at my home less than 24 hours later and I am beyond thrilled!! Thank you Darla and Lindsey for making me so happy and next time I'll definitely be back in the store to visit you in person! read more

Absolutely love this store. If you're planning on spending a day in Tiburon this is a must-stop store. Perfect for gift ideas or shopping for yourself! I was looking for a new pair of jeans and the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Ended up getting my first pair of Mother jeans and I am obsessed! Their selection of bath and body items was awesome and I went home with two new candles as well. The clothes here are beautiful, upscale casual, not overdressy, in a range of price points. Beautiful scarves, shirts, tops, and I bought some very flattering high end (and high waisted!) Mother jeans. Extremely nice staff -- both the owner and assistants, including Alicia. I was shopping for the first time since the pandemic started and not sure what I wanted or needed. They offered me things that could work, got sizes, made it fun, and were very helpful without being overbearing or overselling. read more
