I finally tried The Perk House and I'm actually obsessed. The drinks alone??? insane. I got the black & white cookie latte and the white chocolate strawberry matcha latte and both were sooo good but in completely different ways. The black & white cookie latte was rich and sweet without being too much, and the white chocolate strawberry matcha was so smooth and perfectly balanced -- not too earthy, not too sweet, just really good. But the maple butter sausage sandwich??? I was not expecting it to be THAT good. The sweet and savory combo was perfect and it tasted so fresh. The whole place has such a cute vibe too -- clean, aesthetic, and somewhere you actually wanna sit and stay for a bit. I was there when " Linda" was ordering her coffee and she was rude, impatient and obviously needed a hug. When she left I apologized on her behalf as did other customers who witnessed the interaction. Yes the store was busy... good for them! They are a local small business who has created an incredible name for themselves and treats every customer like family. Linda's drink was ready and her name was called several times but she was so wrapped up in her own anger she didnt hear and as a result took it out on the employees. Keep doing your thing Perkhouse... there are plenty of people who appreciate your hard work and delicious handcrafted coffee... the others can go to dunkin if they want fast and impersonal! read more

Best coffee in the area by a mile with a large amount of bespoke variety. The 'Iced Rainbow Cookie Maribel Special' is arguably the best drink I have on a regular basis. Who is Maribel - you ask? Only one of the best baristas in Rockland!! The people, food, service, and coffee are all second to none. Perk House has become a staple for me and my coworkers, what are you waiting for? GO! Don't worry about dumb bags like Linda K. All of her reviews are miserable - like her - which I only know because I literally stood next to that lady as she had her tantrum. read more

My favorite coffee spot in the area! It does get busy on Saturdays, which is expected, but even with a line, the drinks come out super fast--usually within just a few minutes. The coffee is always delicious and the decor is really cute. It's a small space with limited seating, but we usually just grab takeout. We haven't tried the food yet, but based on how many people are ordering and eating there, I'm sure it's great! read more

Made my coffee and left it there to get cold. Need to hire more employees if they can't handle the load. Literally ordered a cappuccino to go. Took 15 minutes Ha! Nice try to try and blame me for your deficits... I would never ever be verbally abusive to an employee. She was actually the nicest part of the visit. I asked her if she could get my coffee that you let sit there... she actually looked at me with pleading eyes and said "please tell the boss" I felt bad for her. She looked overwhelmed. The fact that you would go so far as to looking at the ticket, etc. once someone calls you out....clearly you need more help and are just too cheap to hire somebody because you want all the profits. read more

The Perk House is such a gem in Orangeburg. The coffee is absolutely fantastic--smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. You can tell they take pride in what they brew because every cup tastes fresh and flavorful, whether it's a latte, cold brew, or just a classic hot coffee. The space itself is cozy and welcoming, the kind of place you can sit with a laptop and get work done or catch up with a friend without feeling rushed. The most stellar discovery on a quick weekend away. Raised in NYC, it's always a feat to stumble upon a good coffee house offering. Had breakfast here last Saturday with my boyfriend. Beautiful place with a seamless business operation. The coffee and lattes tastes amazing, carefully crafted and without chemical aftertaste. We both had the Maple Butter Sausage sandwich and agreed it was the BEST breakfast sandwich we have had in our lives, lol. The portion was extremely generous (i wasn't able to finish) and the flavors were so well executed. You can taste the actual maple without it being overbearing on the sandwich. I couldn't help but order one of their in house made pop tarts, and it was quite amazing. So amazing that I ordered two more to take home. Finally, but just as important as all of the above, is the staff. Warm, efficient and very down to earth. I love this place! Can't wait to escape upstate again and visit here! read more

He also gave us a sample of some new pasties he is working on. Everything is spot on. Coming from NYC I find it hard to get really good coffee and this place gets the job done! Had a great white chocolate raspberry latte here (with almond milk); wasn't overly sweet or milky, had just the right amount of flavor without overwhelming the coffee! Also had one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had - simple egg and cheese but the potato roll it was on was so soft and fresh! The staff were friendly and helpful too, we had a whole conversation about what the best milks were for various coffee drinks. Looking forward to trying more menu items on a return visit! read more

A friend and I happened upon this trendy new spot and found it delightful. From the menu, to the decor, to the service, to the pricing, to the quality of the food. - a lot of care was clearly given to making things right. We had a cappuccino and a regular brewed coffee; tried the blueberry muffin, the donut cruller, and the (very decadent!) truffle brownie; also sampled the "home-brewed" hibiscus drink.
