The Perk House is such a gem in Orangeburg. The coffee is absolutely fantastic--smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. You can tell they take pride in what they brew because every cup tastes fresh and flavorful, whether it's a latte, cold brew, or just a classic hot coffee. The space itself is cozy and welcoming, the kind of place you can sit with a laptop and get work done or catch up with a friend without feeling rushed. The staff are warm and friendly, always happy to make recommendations. If you're looking for quality coffee north of the city, The Perk House is easily one of the best spots around. Highly recommend!

As a coffee & matcha snob, I approve the coffee. When asking about the matcha the guy at the counter didn't seem to know much about it soooo i didn't risk ordering it. Outside of that, clean & chill ambience, came out in a timely manner and all of our orders (9) were correct.

Delicious coffee and friendly atmosphere. I met the owner Jeff. He was nice enough to talk to me about all the different options they offer. He also gave us a sample of some new pasties he is working on. Everything is spot on. Coming from NYC I find it hard to get really good coffee and this place gets the job done! A MUST TRY if youre in the area. It will be your new morning routine.

Such a cozy spot with great vibes and service :). Coffee and food were both delicious (loved the Dutchman + matcha) and they've got a bunch of gluten-free options too. Definitely going to be my new go-to coffee spot!! :-)

Bacon, egg & cheese wrap.....5 stars! (And I don't even like cheese)

My new favorite neighborhood any-time-of-the-day coffee shop. The coffee is superb. I even got some coffee bean education from the head barista. The food I've tried so far is delicious. The staff is wonderful and attentive and they give you a smile and warm welcome every time.

Tonight I wasn't hungry for diner but wanted a little something so I got my husband to drive me, he parked in the town hall lot and waited in the car. The inside is very bright and welcoming, as was the woman who helped me. They have an extensive menu of smoothies, teas and some waffles and donuts - all seem freshly made to order. I went with the banana split smoothie, though I'm not sure how much real banana was in there and think the flavor perhaps had come from the protein powder but I didn't watch her make it so I'm not sure. I like that if looked exactly like the picture when served and tasted good. My husband got the 'tropical' which is mango and pineapple, I asked for the addition of strawberries and spinach and that was no problem. I was ready to pay and to my surprise, she tells me 'today is buy 2 get one free'!!! Score for me, so I went with the Oreo cheesecake shake. It tasted good, again though I'm not sure where the flavor comes from, because I don't think there's real cheesecake or Oreo in it. I gave them 4 stars because the parking is a real challenge and I'm not sure what exactly the flavor comes from and what fruit is actually used in it and I don't know how they keep the drinks 200 calories. However, I will definitely be going back again and can't wait to try out the teas!

Though not huge, their menu is plant based with an assortment of brunch/lunch items like bowls, salads and interesting sushi, as well as smoothies and other drinks. If you're open to vegan food and uncommon items in a western diet, you'll enjoy it. The pad thai slaw and sushirito were delicious and well made and everything on the menu was inviting. The teas were lovely and I really enjoyed being able to select a blend of herbs for my tea mug. There was some herbal water available, and a selection of desserts on the counter and in the fridge - chocolatey delights like "snickers" bars. We found a corner next to the stage with two armchairs and a coffee table which was the coziest corner to sit and chat. Though it was Friday afternoon at lunch time and there were several other small groups, it never felt crowded and we were able to stay for a few hours enjoying our tea and meal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and non-intrusive. You order at the counter and then sit down, and we were not disturbed at all besides our meal being brought to us when it was ready. Parking is limited but at least they have a lot. It's a short walk into the main part of the town. They also occasionally host events. Looking forward to returning!

I stopped by for the first time yesterday and was honestly a little overwhelmed by the massive variety of smoothies and add-ons. Had there been something local nearby, we should have opted for that. SK offers various drinks (refreshers, weight management, vegan, favorites, etc). Their smallest size is 20 oz (around $8 each) and goes up to 44 oz, which seems like you're just asking for sugar trouble. They try to use clever marketing to put a veil of healthiness on their drinks like added ginger or a boost of this or that. Also they don't put the ingredients or nutrients information anywhere to clearly let consumers know what's in the drinks. Service was lackluster and not personalized, with staff milling around creating drinks and not knowing what was going on holistically. We waited for our drinks while everyone was getting theirs because they were put in the to-go fridge with no callouts to our name. They have a rewards system that may be worth it if you patronize them often. For a small place, they also have a bathroom which is great.

I enjoy that there are plenty of options to keep rotating flavors so nothing ever feels repetitive or boring. It's nice to have a place where you can mix it up instead of getting stuck ordering the same thing every time. The Purple Haze smoothie is my usual order and never disappoints -- flavorful, refreshing, and perfectly blended. I do occasionally mix it up, but I always come back to that one. Their energy bites are another standout -- satisfying a sweet craving while still being made with better-for-you ingredients. I usually keep a few in my fridge for grab-and-go energy. They also offer healthy prepared meals, which is incredibly convenient. I haven't personally tried them due to a severe gluten allergy, but friends who have enjoy them. This is primarily a grab-and-go spot, though there is minimal indoor seating if you want to stay. The staff has consistently been friendly and attentive, always acknowledging customers when they walk in. Parking tip: Westwood has metered street parking, and during peak hours it can be tough to find a spot. Even if you're running in quickly, make sure you feed the meter -- tickets are given out easily. My only real disappointment is that they discontinued the buy-10-get-1-free punch card. I was definitely bummed to see that go and would love to see some kind of rewards program return. Overall, Fitrition is a reliable local favorite for fresh shakes, snacks, and grab-and-go fuel -- it's exactly the kind of spot you're happy to keep in your rotation.

The managers, who also own the deli next door, care deeply about both their staff and customers. It's a warm environment with a genuine community feel -- definitely the kind of place where you can sit down, relax, and enjoy your food or drink without feeling rushed. The staff is highly trained and super accommodating with any drink or food modifications you might want. Whether you're picky about your latte or have dietary needs, they'll make sure you get exactly what you want. One thing that always stood out to me was how spotless everything was -- the espresso machines are cleaned daily, blenders washed after every use, and food is always handled with gloves and hair tied up. Sanitation and quality are clearly top priorities. While I did experience some challenges as an employee, mainly due to a bit of a learning curve and limited training at the start, I can confidently say that as a customer, you'll receive excellent service and a consistently great experience. It's a small business run with heart, and that's something you can feel the moment you walk in.

Jon posted about his titanic coffee because they live in the area and I wanted to try it. My father treated all of us and gave about $60 to the coffee shop for the day. I forgot what drink I had but I liked it, they also had gluten free wrap options so I got the chicken Caesar salad wrap which was awesome I don't have wraps often because sometimes a gluten free option isn't around and a chicken Caesar salad wrap is one of my favorites. They did a good job. My son had some ice cream and enjoyed it, I think my dad enjoyed his food too so did my cousin. The gimick of this shop if you want to call it a gimick is that they have $6 reproduction prints of the article and newspaper of the Titanic sinking. That's why they call themselves Titanic coffee.
