Most dog owners understand the frustration of purchasing expensive treats and bringing them home to realize that your dog is not going to eat them. At Dogologie, you won't feel that frustration. We offered our dog 7 samples (which she refused) before she finally accepted the 8th treat and then we knew it was something she wanted. This was immensely helpful for us and it was something I never would have expected and don't think I would have chosen on my own. They have lots of other dog accessories on offer including clothes, leashes, toys and even decor. They will even kennel your dog for 4 hours for $40 if you want to shop or do some activities that aren't dog friendly. This shop is a great resource for dog owners.

The dogs' food and accoutrements were well labeled and organized, so if your pet has special instructions, I think they would handle that effectively. The dogs are kept separated at all times, but they are given outdoor breaks frequently. If you want to pay an extra $5, the staff will walk or play with your dog. While anxious to go home, Oscar seemed pretty content when I picked him up, and he hasn't shown any sign of being hoarse or sick to his stomach (which has happened when he's gone to daycare). So I think they took good care of him. Additionally, a particularly helpful feature of Paws anc Claws is the weekend hours. You can actually pick your dog up on Sunday, unlike most kennels I've tried in Austin. This saves money and makes it easier to plan your schedule. I'd definitely use this place again.

He's great, but he's a cat. Wally. In March 2019, we welcomed Leo, a chocolate lab. He has stolen my heart, completely. Now, at 90lbs, he even sleeps on our bed, which had you tried to convince me this would be the case a year ago, I'd have laughed. All that to say that as we prepare to go away on vacation next week, I was getting totally stressed about where Leo was going to stay. Wally...he could go in and out of the garage and survive with someone coming by every couple days with food and fresh water. But Leo? There was no way I wanted to leave him in a kennel. Along came Lone Star Pet Ranch, which we heard about from a friend who has brought her dog here for 7 years. We brought him there yesterday for a 1/2-day "Playcare" session in preparation for a week there.
