Had tried the Oakdale Road location, so thought we'd try the new Dale Road location. Won't go back. While the food is very good, the service was absolutely horrible. After we were seated and given menus, it took a very long time for someone to come over to our table. Note: there were at least three servers to cover no more that five occupied tables - slow night. When our server finally came over, she was unable to answer any of our questions about the menu. Not one. Each question was answered with a simple "I don't really know". We had to ask for everything other than our food (utensils, more water, etc.). We finally gave up on getting the check, so we walked up front to pay. I'll go back to the Mom & Pop places. My wife insisted that I should also mention that one of the servers cleaning up a table picked up a rib bone that had been chewed on by a customer...BARE-HANDED. She then went back to the task of bagging up clean utensils WITHOUT washing her hands first! read more

Pho Tai was decent. Egg rolls are good and fresh. Bun Bo Hue is a HARD NO. It's not even bo = beef, it's pork meat inside and the broth is like bun rieu which is like crab/shrimp paste. They didn't even have the pork heart slice. The boba drinks - you have to ask for no ice because literally 4/5ths of the cup is ice and you don't get any drink. One slurp and your drink is basically gone. I will come back to update my review to try the other dishes like com tam broken rice plate and bun thit nuong on the menu because there isn't many vietnamese resturants nearby. read more

If you can I'd recommend getting pho elsewhere. This was my first time dining here (Take-out) and I ordered a small #2 with only rare steak, however upon taking it out I noticed I was given four small slices and all were pure fat with almost no actual meat on them. The soup itself lacked flavor and overall I felt really dissatisfied with my order. I'm not sure I'll go again but if I do I hope it's better next time. read more

The pho, chicken and vegan, spring rolls were all good. We also enjoyed shrimp egg rolls. Will try fried tofu today. Tried the fried tofu and it was crispy on outside and tender inside. I did add my own ginger sauce as a dip along with their sauce. The service and ambiance is very nice and spacious. read more

Beautiful restaurant but failed miserably. First the waitress brought us Boiled water with lemon. When I asked for cold water with ice she proceeded to tell me it was free and the ice came with a with drinks that you pay for. The table next to us got ice water. The basil and sprouts we ordered with our soups was old and wilted and belonged in the trash and not served to our table. Soup was just OK not enough meat and was clumped together (weird) we ordered 2 of the #2 and spare ribs which also lacked enough meat mostly bones. My daughter canceled her soup after seeing all the sacks of MSG Note they use MSG* was piled high outside bathrooms. Ordered spring rolls instead. Napkin holder was so dirty looked like they never cleaned it. When I told them they just shrugged and said sorry. Not going back, there are other Pho restaurants in town I can leave my $70 to next time. They are a bunch of kids running the place and they lack customer service and experience. read more

Nice new restaurant with great potential directly across from Kaiser Hospital. Food is tasty with decent portions and the young waiters are pleasant. My only issue after being there two times and ordering the same meal, is the quality of their meat on the Shake Beef Rice Plate. The first time ordering this plate the meat had a lot of ligaments in it. Thought it was just a one time thing. Ordered the same meal on our next visit and the meat still had a lot of ligaments. I hope that this is not an issue going forward because I really want to like this place. read more

Customer service is not their forte. I came in to pick up an order. The male cashier was unfriendly and rude. He didn't great you aside from asking if you're here for a pick up or dinning in. Their adds on is a bit expensive compare to other pho restaurants. read more

The the girl in her early 20's working the front counter was so awful and rude. I checked my to go order as I thought it was missing something, it's was, I nicely told her I was missing two items. She responded with "well I read your order back to you and you didn't say anything was missing, you can come back over here and pay for it". Tried to act like it was my fault and make me pay more when my receipt showed the items I was missing. It's a shame because the food is very good. read more

It was my first time dining in at The Pho. I overall love how the place looks and how everything looks well organize. But apparently not the case. My husband I order Pho and I had found hair in my soup. It was literally stuck in between the meat and the noodle. I was not happy. And the eggroll and shrimp roll were cook together in the same oil because pork eggroll shouldn't taste like shrimp, so my husband couldn't eat them at all. And the sauces on the table are not clean, the holder was literally dirty when you pick up the ingredients but also the lid part of the chili was never clean and looks molded. Zero star. Dirty. I asked the server whats tripe he told me its a type of seafood. He brought to the table i looked and tasted it. Tasted like meat.. how disgusting turned out to be intestine. Why does a server choose to make shit up instead of saying i dont know ill check for you? When he came back i told him i googled tripe and turned out to be meat he said ill make sure? Like why didnt u make sure before. How are some people so clueless. Me and my husband got up as soon as i found out it was intestine from how disgusted we were.
