    Passion fruit lemonade

Loved the shrimp pho and the passion fruit lemonade, tasted amazing, service was amazing, booths very spacious and will be eating here again

Food: I ordered the chicken Bánh mì and the deep-fried shrimp rolls to go. The shrimp rolls were hot, crispy, and made a good appetizer. The chicken Bánh mì, however, fell short. The chicken was much sweeter than I expected, and the portion was noticeably small -- the sandwich felt hollow. On top of that, the chicken pieces that were included were tough and chewy, making it hard to enjoy. With multiple locations in the area, I was expecting better. They do have a wide variety of other dishes like pho and vermicelli bowls, but based on this first impression, I'm hesitant to try more of the menu. Service: Service was genuinely friendly. The staff greeted me right away, took my order quickly, and had my food ready faster than I expected -- great for a to-go visit. No issues here. Atmosphere: The restaurant is large, open, and casual -- a comfortable space for a sit-down meal. The dining area looked clean, and the layout makes it easy to dine in groups or grab a quick solo meal. Overall: Friendly staff and fast service were definite positives, and the restaurant looks clean and inviting. However, the quality and portion of the Bánh mì were disappointing enough that I'm not sure I'd return. With a few improvements to the food, this place could be much better.

$17 for shaken beef. Only a few actual pieces of beef. Not worth it

Really shocked at my visit here. Thought this place was good before. Last time I visited, the wait time was excessive and they weren't even packed. And the prices are not worth it anymore. $17 not incurring tax and tip for shaken beef which is mostly rice and only a few pieces of beef. Very disappointing. Way too many other pho spots that have a better value.

    Medium size beef pho.

Visited this establishment on 12/10. Food was delicious and generous portions. Cordial and friendly service. Clean restrooms, and clean restaurant.

i'm usually not the type to write a review unless it's something really serious, but i ordered three things. Pho, Chicken wings, and fried rice... the pho was okay could've done better with providing the extras like bean sprouts and limes but they only gave cilantro and onion.. i ordered fried rice and received white rice.. the wings were so disappointing. i have pictures!! called a bunch of times as well to see if i can get at least my fried rice but i wish i could just cancel it from my card but i paid with applepay so i cant but i definitely deserve a refund. your lucky to receive two stars.

Grilled Pork Spring Rolls ($8.00) added Shrimp ($5.00)

Stopped in for lunch and ordered a spring roll with pork and shrimp. I was informed there would be a slight upcharge for the shrimp, which I agreed to without asking how much. To my surprise, the bill showed a $5 upcharge--I was expecting just a couple of dollars. The spring rolls were fresh and tasted okay, but the pork was the issue. It was cool and had an unusual texture and flavor, though still passable. I also ordered a small beef combination pho. While it came with plenty of beef, the broth was lacking in flavor, which was disappointing. Overall, a $30 lunch I wasn't expecting, and unfortunately, I don't see myself returning. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, and there were plenty of seats. However, once they dropped off the food, they didn't check back--I had to wave someone down just to get more water.

This spot is so good, clean and bright. The tables are super spacious and the service is great. The food is amazing. I got the spicy noodle soup and my husband got the combo pho and a honeydew smoothie. Definitely will be coming back when in town.

I'm not sure what's going on with this place but they need to get it together. The two new kids they have working the front counter don't know what they are doing. Nothing is labeled for take out and they just sit at look at you and expect you to open every box and figure it out yourself.. I just picked up four orders for my coworkers and myself and I am so irritated at how bad this pho is. No bowls provided to put my take out pho in?!!! no chopsticks, no Mint, no limes, no soy sauce and nothing was fresh.

    Fried rice

I ordered this fried rice for $17 but just got a half of togo box. Very disappointed and bad qualifying

Everything was fresh, everything was delicious, everything exceeded our expectations. This felt like a bay area experience right up the street. Located in McHenry village, next to the postal annex, I've seen Konfucious Eats whenever I drive…read moreon Briggsmore. I never was interested in going there for years since it's been there but decided to try it tonight. Firstly, the ramen place holds maybe 40 at most and we had to wait a while before we were seated. They asked if we had a reservation but didn't think that it would be needed since it's not like a fancy restaurant and I don't know many ramen places that takes reservations. Since we didn't , we got seated on the bar which is fine. For it being in Modesto, they try to get the anime vibe with toys and anime art around. I'm no ramen expert but I've tried over a dozen ramen places in Tokyo, Vancouver, Japan town in LA, San Francisco, Oahu, Seattle just to name a few cities. So we got first the spicy garlic edamame. Not bad at all, had a kick to it and was edible. From a scale of 1 to 5. I'd give it a 5. For the main entree, I wanted the garlic tonkatsu but the waitress said they ran out.... Ok, for a Saturday night at 6 pm, running out of a ramen and they've been in business for several years now?!? never had that happen before in any ramen shop I've been to. So me and my wife both got the Ichiraku ramen which was a miso broth with pork belly. Price $23. I added 2 more pork belly at $5 more. Oh, the waitress mentioned no bamboo shoots and no fish cake........ ok, never had that happen before in a ramen shop. So while eating edamame, I kept track of how long it took we got our ramen.... It took 30 minutes before we got our ramen... definitely atypical to wait that long wait but I guess it's because they offer a lot of items besides ramen. Presentation was fine, the pork belly was seared on one side with a blow torch since I can taste that searing. . It just had green onions, 2 seaweeds and 2 soft boiled eggs which I was impressed the yolk wasn't overcooked. The noodles I chose was thin and was good with a soft texture. The miso broth was average Over all, it was an okay ramen. Me and my wife both didn't finish our bowls... definitely unusual since we love ramen but somehow, it didn't fulfill our satiety to finish and be content. I can tell you that of all the ramen places I've been to. This is average and doesn't compare to Ramen 101 in Modesto that I've ordered many times before my first time here. Sadly, I can only give it 3 stars because the ramen was average and not in the same league as other ramens I've had in other places and cities. And if me and my wife couldn't finish our ramen, that's a tell tale sign it was just okay. Plus, the place is called Konfucius Eats, doesn't have a Japanese name for a restaurant since "Confucius " is a Chinese Philosopher lol. In fact, I didn't see any Japanese or Asian cooks... just saying that's atypical to the other ramen establishments I've been to. For Modesto, it's aight. I just can't see myself going back here for a long time. Lastly, they are open Tuesday to Saturday only .

We had a variety of rolls and they were all spectacular. I wanted to try out an order of their sushi nachos so we could all share it as an appetizer, and that was epic. Every one loved the dish. It reminded me of good fish ceviche but with a fantastic Asian twist. Definitely worth trying out. Hopefully next time we return they still have it on their menu. The fried calamari was delicious and so was the tempura. Everything was freshly made. The peanut chicken was nice and crispy and the peanut sauce was savory and sweet at the same time. The chicken curry was also very tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want good quality sushi along with other tasty dishes.
