Love the flavors. The food here is very delish... however their portions are very SMALL for the price $$$. My only complaint is that they need to pay attention to the orders. I have ordered the banh mi probably every time I come, each time requesting NO JALAPEÑO, not once has it came without. Today, when I got into my car, I checked it.. and yet again.. there's Jalapeño. Some people might think it's not a big deal and just take it out, but once it touches the meat and bread, I'm basically not able to eat the whole thing. The staff is very friendly and place is very clean. I hope in the future, they will give you more food for the price, since this place is on the expensive side, Asian culture normally gives you a bigger portion, and hopefully my next order won't have any spice as I requested. read more

Went on their soft opening on Thursday last month. Food was delicious, fresh and fragrant. Service was prompt and correct. Prices were great and I felt I got a good value for all the plates we ordered. Portions are generous. The restaurant is new, open and clean with lots of seating. To my surprise, it's not a traditional honey, Boba, but some sort of clear Boba. In addition, I ordered one of those banmi sandwich which they were actually good. However, the baguette was not crunchy as I'm used to. I can taste that it's steamed so when I bit into it squished. There was no crunch to the sandwich. Though ingredient inside the sandwich was delicious. The service was friendly, and I got my drink and food within a reasonable amount of time. I did not have to wait long. Disappointed at serving meat portion on rare beef/ pho thai from take-out order. rare beef slices were so thin as single-ply toilet paper that it came apart in pieces and not whole thick slices. Went for lunch on a Sunday. Three other tables with customers, 4 tables with dirty dishes which stayed for over 30 minutes. I enjoy the Pho, but the condiments containers sit in a tray, and it was very dirty. There were dried brown spatters on the wall above the table, and the menus were actually crusty. Ugh. Someone had thrown up in bathroom sink when we informed server he said " yeah we were told we'll get to it after we do orders" My order wasn't correct, however the soup and potstickers were good. Oh My Gawd! This place is BOMB . A very must try! I would have to say this place is top 3 of any Pho place I've ever eaten at!! Summary: This will be a general review for this franchise that recently showed up in Modesto/Stockton. The photo posted below is for the location in Stockton. The food was very similar in every location that I tried (March lane, Dale Rd. and Oakdale Rd.). If you're looking for somewhere quick/cheap for pho, this is the place I recommend! Food: The filet mignon seems exaggerated. The meat is good, but definitely no better than the typical roast/round that is used in most phot places. The spring rolls are delicious especially if you love pickled carrots. I do not love them, so I took them out, but I could see how others would like them. Food is tasty and fresh. Service/Location: The people here are new, because this is their newest location. There seems to be a little disconnect from the kitchen and service but our waitress was attentive and nice. I believe we got the same server all three times that I came here. This is great for consistency and the food was just as consistent. Bathroom: The bathrooms are individual and have no paper towels. This makes it difficult to leave the bathroom without touching anything. This is my main reason I have removed a star from their review (other than them not serving us one time for running out of broth, more on that later). I had to use a napkin from the table and bring it into the bathroom. Location Specific: They all had the same general taste. There was a time where this particular location "ran out of broth" the last 40-minutes of being open. We sat down for 10-minutes looking for what to order before they had told us anything. They were nice, however a situation that probably could have been avoided. We ended up going to Pho Mex, which is much better, but also much more expensive. I'm glad that there is a pho restaurant on this side of town and across the street from the Kaiser. Worst experience and apparently I wasn't the only customer. Order 2 sandwiches and egg rolls during lunch. They provided really nice secure packaging that travelled well with no spillage, but unfortunately, the order was wrong. Overall, the taste and portions were good. Tonight I tried to place a to-go order 30 minutes before closing time and was told that they were no longer accepting orders. That was a bummer. I ordered from my usual place closer to my house. The good: Ambience was good. Not a bad location with plenty of parking space. Staff were friendly, and the pho/Vietnamese noodle selections were pretty decent. The bad: Couple complaints about the order... I ordered the #3 which was some cooked beef mixed with tendon. Missing the tendons... since it was closing I didn't bother. I ordered extra Beef Ribs, not fall off the bone, but decent. Overall if you're already paying $14-$16 for a bowl of pho noodles with very little meat what's another $7 for a big piece of beef rib. Decent meat for the comparable pricing structure. Their Bun Bo Hue was a bit better. One size only, and had plenty of flavor and meat. Their Large bowl is mainly soup though. So if you have a big appetite, may want to add a few addons to fill up. Most of the tables had not been bussed for cleaning. We were told to sit at a table that was clean but we didn't want to sit in the front. We sat at a table and cleaned it off ourselves (we didn't mind) my sister went to ask for a rag and the employee came and as he was cleaning he said "for future reference when we say clean it means a clean table" very rudely. My husband said there wasn't any that we felt comfortable sitting at...which we felt we should choose where to sit. He continued to say "there is that one" my husband responded to which he answered back "beggars can't be choosers" my husband said "we are not begging we are paying". It was my sister's first time there and it would have been my second. They need to have better communication and maybe team management when having a rush so that they don't have majority of tables filled with dishes. Around 7 pm I went to place a take out order for some Pho. When I got home I started to prepare my food I decided to snack on my spring rolls, upon taking my first bite I look down and notice a long black hair sticking out of the wrap in my spring roll. I felt sick to my stomach and when I got back to the restaurant to talk to someone about it, I noticed no one in the back kitchen area was wearing any kind of hair net! It was a great find for us nearing Modesto. Who would have thought that you can get something so decent in Modesto. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant, very clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly, and helpful. The food was delicious, can't complain especially a good find of good bun bo hue. I also really enjoyed the avocado smoothie, it was really full of avocado taste, the tasting was really good. My only feedback is that I'm not sure if there was MSG added, we did all complaint that we felt very thirsty afterwards. Other than that, I am very appreciative to enjoy a good bowl of noodles on our way to Yosemite. read more
