Portion sizes are a hit and miss. Wait times are a hit and miss too. Portion sizes: I'm Asian and grew up eating pho. I wouldn't eat nor recommend this place. Growing up eating pho, we throw down, and their large portion sizing (I think to fit the white demographic) is small--something my family would serve to a small child in my household. Wait times: Multiple times they'd quote me a time on the phone (let's say 15 minutes), and I end up waiting nearly 40+ minutes at the restaurant. Every time I go in, I can see fumes coming out of DoorDash drivers and UberEats delivery people. read more

Misleading and confusing prices on the menu vs their system. The restaurant is nice and clean, fairly new place. Service was okay like any other pho places. We ordered 2 of The Pho Combination large size the price listed on the menu was $12.65. However, we were charged $13.65. Thai Tea drink price listed on the menu $4.50 and charged $6. See pictures below. The Pho broth has so much MSG and meats portion were so little but presented in the big bowl. The basil veggies and sprouts portion was not enough for two people. Overall-the quality and quantity are not there. I was confused about the prices listed on the menu vs the prices installed in their system. The spring rolls were good Thai tea was good The pho was disgusting! it taste like pure cinnamon, I have never ever smelled or tasted Pho with that ingredient. It was strong and that's all I tasted. Yuck my stomach is still hurting hours later because of it. Noodles were also way soggy. We went at 2pm on a Sunday and there were only 3 customers in the large dining room. I had to ask one of the employees for a rag to wipe the table we selected, and she politely suggested we could move to another table. I said, "We could but they are not clean as well". She looked shocked and cleaned our table and apologized. No one cleaned the other tables. The PHO was very tasty. The broth is not clear but full of flavor. We ordered large Fillet Mignon and Beef Ball Pho (#4) ($12.65) and Spring Rolls ($6.95). The Pho had a very small amount of Well done Fillet but an abundant amount of high quality beef balls, cut into quarters. There was also a small portion of noodles in the bowl. The bowl was mostly broth and not crowded. I was let down by the small portions of the size large bowl. The veggies accompanying the bowls were fresh but served with lemons instead of limes. The Shrimp Spring rolls were made fresh for us and were very good. The inside was stuffed with a large amount and one of the veggies inside were pickled which gave the roll a fantastic tangy sweet flavor. The peanut sauce was perfect. Our server (Faith) was friendly and professional. Not afraid at all to chat us up and helpful with suggestions. Also very attentive to our needs. We will be back. Good job. read more

The food is actually not too bad. A bit over priced for what you get, but good nonetheless. After my second time going, however, I will not be returning. My sister and I went there, both ordered a #2 pho, and a little past half way through our meal, I find a small SPIDER in my bowl. I couldn't eat any more. I didn't make a scene, I politely let the staff know. The worker quietly said something to the effect of "I'll have to her to clean better" I was not offered any compensation, I was still charged full price for my lunch. My family and I aren't picky eaters, however, one is allergic to cilantro and we will specify "no cilantro" in items that commonly have cilantro (eg: spring roll) as a safety precaution. After reviewing the bill, I noticed an extremely unprofessional comment on the tab. "They aren't made w cilantro dummy". Was that to us? Was that to the server? Regardless, completely unprofessional. As we walked in we were seated promptly in a nice location, not right next to other people. We got our drinks very fast and the staff was very friendly. The #2 Pho large tasted great and had a lot of food. We had a milk tea which tasted surprisingly good! They also served a nice cold diet Pepsi in a can with a cup of ice on the side. So as Other people have stated, the place is very clean. It has a nice open floor plan and fairly adequate seating. The staff seemed friendly enough, but that doesn't make up for the lack of options. First of all, a huge minus to me is there's no kids menu. Or even kid friendly food. So if you're looking for somewhere to go as a family, good luck. We ordered the pho Number one with the fillet mignon. The bowl was very large - I ordered a small, and my husband ordered a large. The broth was very flavorful, but I hate to admit that there are other pho restaurants in the area that offer more variety and are more flavorful in my opinion. I didn't like the fact that we couldn't choose between the egg noodles or rice noodles, (only rice noodles) and while the broth itself had great flavor, it just felt like something was missing. Upon recommendation from the staff, we ordered the bbq short rib plate for my son, The short ribs were good but the a seven-year-old was not impressed. It came with Kim chi which he wouldn't touch, side salad, a side of broth and some plain white rice. He ate a salad, picked at the rice and eventually had some broth after it cooled down. Well now I can see that I tried the place, and I was really looking forward to going there after reading so many reviews on line and seeing the write up in the Modesto Bee. We had to send that back. The taro milk boba had no flavor, wouldn't order again. The chicken rice, the short ribs, egg rolls and spring rolls were all very delicious though.
