I needed a new screen installed, they didn't have the part and wait was a week. OK. They did not call to let me know whether the part was in/ what the status of the repair was after a week plus a day. I called that afternoon, was initially told my phone had been shipped to the warehouse! Over the next couple of hours they called me with conflicting information: they had the phone, but the order had not been made; finally, Jeff the manager called to tell me they had both the phone and the part. Don't let them refer you to Federal Way for a battery replacement for an IPad and they lie to you. They said that Federal Way techs are the only ones in the area who replaces batteries. That is not true. I found a different, honest person today at a company in Olympia because my battery inside the IPad had disconnected. The new tech opened the IPad up and found that the battery was not even installed with the screws or adhesive, which is standard installation. The clear film was not taken off. It was just floating around and The Phone Guys also bent some of the contacts inside of the case. Also, I had to wait for 4 hours for them to complete the job. The Phone Guys in Lacey lied, and the Phone Guys in Federal Way did not know what they were doing, and did a terrible job. I bought my iPhone 12 Pro Max from here and it's been a year and it's still working. When I first walked in, the store was clean, freshly swept, and very vibrant. I was greeted with a smile from the two employees, Adolfo and Hannah, and knew from there, they were gonna help me to the best of their ability. After I told them what device I was looking for and that I was on a budget, they got me on a leasing plan for only $88 dollars down! No communication and they broke my phone. I was promised communication about the status of my order (whether or not it was on time or delayed etc...) My order was delayed and communication was sparse. When my product did arrive I was given a 2 hour wait time. I arrived 2.5 hours later and they needed an additional 1/2 hour citing other customers. Upon return the second time I waited another 10 minutes before being told they broke the back of my phone. I now need to wait for an additional part an additional amount of week(s) because he had already ordered it. This individual was friendly, and professional. When I first called to see if they repair hdmi they told me yes and quoted $100. They also quoted this price to a friend who found them for me and had called. When I took the Xbox in however they said it was a delicate repair that could damage the motherboard and the price was actually $150. This was slightly annoying but we paid to have it repaired. After diagnostic testing, the ONLY thing they said was the hdmi indeed needed repaired, everything else was fine. Over two weeks passed and my husband called them for an update. At this time they said the dropped xbox had a damaged motherboard. Our Xbox was not dropped and why was this not determined in the initial diagnostic process? Another two weeks have passed and again we were reaching out for another update. This time there is a software issue they don't mind "assisting" us with after they return it to us but they are too overwhelmed with tasks to actually complete the job. We believe that they damaged our system & are unwilling to take accountability for their mistake. Communication is horrid. read more
