I placed an order for a Nuna car seat from The Piccolina Shop on May 31, 2025 after seeing it listed as available on their website. My credit card was charged immediately and I received an order confirmation. For several months, the car seat never shipped. During that time, communication from the shop initially seemed reassuring. Up until around January, I did receive responses, but each time I was given a different explanation for why the order was delayed and was repeatedly promised that it would ship soon. Over the course of these conversations, I was told the delay was due to things like tariffs, updated product codes, the color being in high demand, and other supply issues. Each time I was told it should ship in the next few weeks or months. Unfortunately, the item still never shipped. After months of waiting and repeated promises that were never fulfilled, communication eventually stopped altogether. I was left with no real resolution and ultimately had to dispute the charge with my credit card company in order to recover my money. After looking into this further, I found that other customers have reported similar experiences online. My advice to anyone considering ordering from this business is to proceed with extreme caution. Charging customers immediately for products that are never shipped and repeatedly delaying with new explanations is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. They claim to reopen in 2027. I hope they never reopen at all. Happy ending: I was able to order the Nuna car seat in the Biscotti color from a reputable retailer once it was back in stock, and it arrived quickly and exactly as promised. I only wish I could get back the months I spent chasing updates and excuses from The Piccolina Shop about why my order hadn't shipped yet. Thankfully my credit card company stepped in and refunded the charge during the dispute process. Lesson learned: I'll be sticking with reputable retailers who actually deliver the products they sell. read more

We were established customers and ordered a car seat for $795. It was never delivered and each week they told me "it would arrive the following week". We explained we could not wait longer. They said they cancelled the order and our charge card would be reimbursed in full. The STORE CLOSED WITHOUT NOTICE AND OWE US AND OTHERS MONIES DUE!! read more

ordered a $800 nuna travel system on 1/30 and never received an update on the order being processed or shipped. I have reached out over 5 times since the beginning of February asking for an update on the order and have yet to see my order status change from "order placed". google reviews have been turned off due to people reviewing similar experiences they have had regarding their items not being delivered. really unfortunate hassle to experience as a pregnant person trying to check things off the list. read more

Seems like a scam, took my $800.. super disappointing experience. Ordered an $800 Nuna stroller/car seat set on 2/4. I reached out to confirm they had it in stock as it was sold out everywhere else. Lena told me they would provide me with a shipping update 2/13 (almost 10 days after ordering). She has now stopped returning all calls/texts/emails, it's 2/20. I told her multiple times that I don't have much time because I'm 38 weeks pregnant and NEED an infant car seat. Now she has my $800 that I need to use to buy a different car seat since she apparently doesn't have it in stock. I was forced to open a dispute with my bank but that could take months to settle. Super inconsiderate and scammy considering I was open with her about my timeline and financial situation. I wasn't going to leave a review because I always give the benefit of the doubt but now I'm seeing other reviews about her doing the same thing to other people. Great customer service from the owner Lena! She was extremely patient with me and caring! As a first time mom I was nervous about getting my items in time, and of course like she promised they arrived just in time! There were a few bumps along the way with shipment and items getting back in stock, but she worked her magic! As a small business they truly care about their customers. Bought a $250 Clek Liing car seat base in October '24 because they claimed to be one of the only places that had them in stock--Clek was sold out till Jan '25. When I inquired about shipping time 2 weeks after placing the order, I got a phone call from Lena telling me that the warehouse had some issues, that shipping was imminent and she would call back with a tracking number. After that initial call, she stopped all communication. Not even excuses about why nothing had been shipped after repeated inquiries from me. So now it is January '25, still nothing. So I've cancelled the order and asked for a refund, and you guessed it...no response. So now I'm forced to open a dispute with my credit card company to recover the charge. All she had to say was we were wrong about having the car seat base in stock, but we'll get it to you when it becomes available from the supplier and I'd be ok with it. Providing no communication to your customer for months after taking their money is not unacceptable. I will never buy anything from this store again, and recommend that anyone considering a purchase from them seriously reconsider! read more

This baby store is hands down amazing. The ladies at the shop are extremely knowledgeable about the various strollers, car seats, baby gear, and are all around lovely and caring. They go above and beyond to make sure you feel supported, you know how to use everything and install your car seat. Top notch service. Highly recommend coming here for your baby needs! They know anything and everything about baby strollers and gear. We are first time parents and stopped at Nordstrom to check out the Nuna. We left uneasy because they were not very knowledgeable. We decided to check out Piccolina and Lena, the owner, helped us pick out everything! She knew uppababy, Nuna and all the other high end stroller brands. She was able to customize what we needed and then taught us how to use it. Took so much stress away! If you are spending a grand on a stroller, car seat, pack and play etc, you want to make sure you are getting what works for you and your family goals. Travel, plans to expand a family in the future? Different strollers are better for different preferences. She helped me do that whole section of my baby registry. Highly recommend! read more

We found this baby store when we were starting to research car seats. We went in on a weekend since they were the only local store that had all of the options that we were considering and I'm so grateful we found them. From the first day that we went in a spoke to Alejandra they have been nothing short of amazing! They walked us through the pros and cons of each option without being pushy at all. When we made a decision and purchased our car seat and stroller they were able to hold everything until we were ready to pick it up and even assembled the stroller for us. They are incredibly knowledgeable and kind, everyone we have dealt with at the shop has gone above and beyond to help answer all of our questions.
