Today I came in for something I had ordered online. I was directed to this short, fat, bald, man who immediately turned angry the minute asked for his advice on how to use the product. For this guy to get so angry so fast when asked for a simple response, makes me wonder how he still has a job. Honestly, I can only assume that unless this guy has a record of being so prolifically rude to every customer that walks thru the door that this guy is a grade A homophobe. I know homophobia when I see it. Ive lived with it my whole life. But I called him out and told him he was rude and that I could have gone to Home Depot but I want to support Feinsod's in the shadow of a superstore. When I said I could have easily gone to Home Depot but chose not to he screamed to me "THEN GO TO HOME DEPOT!" Linda's store has an endless selection of fabrics so it could have been an overwhelming experience. It was not! Linda helped me narrow down my search and after a very short time searching through books of fabrics I found exactly what I was looking for. I purchased the fabric with lining as well as the hardware. We had her staff install the finished product and we are so pleased with the result. Her prices are competitive and because she's a small neighborhood store, I felt very well taken care of. Unfortunately, this appears to have become standard practice rather than the exception. Attempting to impose restocking fees just one week after delivering a failed appliance, particularly when the defect has been confirmed by your installer, is not only unreasonable but raises serious ethical concerns. This is not how professional businesses operate. Stamford customers deserve to be treated with respect, fairness, and accountability. If your organization is unable or unwilling to provide that standard of service, perhaps it is time to make room for a company that values its customers and the Stamford community.
